Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

She'd spent the last three days in this horrendously crowded place full of some of the most annoying people she'd ever had the displeasure of looking at let alone talking to and it had all been for nothing. Not matter who she asked or how she asked no one knew a damned thing about the sculpture she was after and most that claimed to know anything quickly lost track of their own stories and had simply wasted her time. Maiya was tired of this shit and wasting time hopping from town to town in the horrid dessert ridden region trying to find the stupid thing. The only thing that made any of this bearable was the fact that most of it she didn't even have to pay for, her client was so desperate for the item he was paying for most everything. [break][break] "Sweet fucking hell hasn't anyone seen this stupid sculpture?" you'd think someone had and at this point Maiya was so close to her wits end that she was mumbling to herself. She needed to let off some steam. A lot of steam. More than she wanted to admit or probably could without beating the crap out of something. Lucky for here there was one thing she could get out of the casino, some good ol' pick pocketing. But regular ol' pick pocketing was no fun oh no, she liked to do it a unique way. [break][break] It didn't take her long to sweep through the place and find a decent target. Tall, not bad to look at but had a stupid look on his face, the kind that screamed derpy but lovable idiot, the sort you'd liken to a dog. They were always great targets, never realizing what was going on until it was far too late. [break][break] Maiya jumped and reached just about his chest, clinging on to him before climbing up to smother his face.

Now it wasn't really unusual for Reginald to be found around the casino area, mainly because it had the bar which he did visit from time to time during his visits around the area. However he was here, not as a patron or gambler but as a working man. As it turned out, one of their mechanics was out with the flu or something, although rumor was that he was playing hooky to go out with his newest 'friend' but Reginald didn't really care. Work was work, and if he could get a drink afterwords, even better. So he was a little near the middle of the casino, examining the device to see what was wrong, with his wrench and screw driver hanging on his hip, ready for whatever this broken roulette machine was gonna throw at him. "Ahh, now I see the problem with ya." He muttered under his breath, with a small grin on his face, a simple job.
[break][break]
It was only a couple minutes, a quick and simple job? Yes please. Granted he didn't really come here looking for a job or anything, so this should at least pay for a nice chunk of his tab at the bar. Makes it nice and prime to start filling back up with a couple of more drinks, maybe even some of that expensive rum he was gazing at behind the bar. Now it was a little obvious that Reggie was getting a little excited about his reward, mainly because he had a stupid looking grin on his face as he dusted off his hands to signify a job complete. So as he made sure his tools were on his belt, he made his way back to the counter to get his reward. At least that was the plan, until he was greeted by something he wasn't expecting.
[break][break]
"Ummm, what?" Were the only words that came from his mouth before he was greeted by a small mass of yellow at his chest, and before he could say another word it quickly climbed up to his face. In a startled state, he took a step back, while standing there a little motionless, because his brain couldn't come up with an appropriate response. Definitely not how the man expected this to go in the slightest, or that he was the target of an rather interesting pickpocket.
[attr="class","reggyooc"]Maiya Thompson | and it was a good job, and good rest i'm sure.
If we were speaking honestly about things Maiya was a little surprised by the fact that he seemed to not really have much of a response over what she'd done. She was far more used to people freaking out and trying to get her off or something of the like. Odd. Maybe he was even stupider than she had thought him to be. [break][break] Maiya leaned back, not letting go mind you but leaning back enough she could look the guy in the face and say something. "So, exactly how fucking stupid are you?" she might have been hoping to get him a little riled so that she could actually have him distracted by his own emotions well enough to pick his pockets. [break][break] "Seriously? How stupid does some one have to be to just, not respond to something like that? Not even a word. Arceus I picked a boring one today." so much for her plan of tackle and have some fun and let off a little steam. As if the place hadn't already been disappointing enough it actually did get worse. She could have sworn she'd picked one that was bound to lose his shit, then again most people lost their shit in response to something like this. What was wrong with him?

It was rather common knowledge that Reginald wasn't the brightest bulb, well for the most part. You get him at a project, and chances are he could list off everything that is wrong with it, and everything that he would need to fix it. Sadly this wasn't one of those situations, so alas now it was the dense and slow Reggie for this situation. Don't get the wrong idea though, he isn't used to this kind of thing happening, it's just that his initial reaction was that of a deadpan look on his face because what is a person supposed to say in a situation like this anyways? [break][break] Now that comment was just rude though, I mean it was one of the responses he got, and besides she was the one who did this. "I'm not that stupid, thanks very much." He responded with a huff, as he examined the person who decided to latch onto him. She seemed to be a little on the shorter side, judging by the fact that she didn't weigh all that much, and a blonde. Someone that he hasn't ran into around the casino before, because he would have remembered someone like this if that wasn't the case. With another remark on his intelligence, it started to get to the guy. [break][break] "Oh, would you much prefer me to start waving my arms or something like this. Saying i'm boring..." He said as he started to wave his arm about in the air, trying to do what she was expecting, all while muttering that last bit. Sure this made him a little preoccupied that he wasn't that boring, mainly by making himself look like a fool to this girl. Granted it would have looked strange to anyone who walked pass the two, a four foot eight girl clinging to a six foot man as he starts to wave about. Totally normal for a casino.
At first Maiya thought she was starting to get the sort of reaction she wanted out of him, or had at least been expecting. He certainly seemed agitated which was close at least but not quite enough. She would have just settled for calling him more names and maybe making some quips about the names using words too big for him to understand but then he did that stupid thing with his arms. [break][break] Maiya narrowed her eyes at him. He was gonna pay for that. [break][break] She then proceeded to head butt him and drop to the floor as soon as she made contact with his skull. [break][break] The hopes was that while he was nearly with what would hopefully turn into a pounding headache for him she would be able to make off with whatever was in his pockets. And probably what was on his belt. Essentially anything she could slip away while he dealt with his head was guaranteed to be gone.

Granted maybe waving around his arms wasn't the best idea he might have had, especially given by the look of the woman who was latching on to him. What was wrong? He did what some people would do in that situation, granted not what the smartest people would have done, but hey if a pretty little thing was clung to you, you wouldn't really want to shake her off immediately...right? Now to solidify the fact that this wasn't the best choice, he raised a brow at her look, his arms still in the air before he slammed her head against his. Causing a rather loud thud, and a groan from the man. [break][break] Yep defiantly not how he thought this job was gonna go, hell he had done the job, was this his pay or something? Surely not the usual pay that's for sure, but sadly now was not the time to think, mainly because it hurt to think at the moment for the poor fella. Thankfully he didn't put the hammer on his back notch of his belt, or there would have been problems. Well more problems to go wit this splitting headache. "Owww, why... did you do that?"He mumbled, with a groan in-between his words with one of his arms no longer in the air, but trying to message the top of his head. "Could have just said.... to stop that." At this point he was seeing three of everything, which was to be expected so when she started to look through his pockets, there wasn't much he could do. All he could do is see three blonds, now normally he wouldn't mind saying no to three pretty faces like that, but sadly this wasn't the time. [break][break] Mostly what he had in his pockets were his gas money, some various metal nick-knacks ranging of value that he planned on keeping, and various tools that slung over his belt. It was to note that he did have his pokeballs in his pockets as well but they seemed to roll across the ground after the impact.
[attr="class","reggyooc"]Maiya Thompson | three of Maiya wouldn't be too bad Reggie.
Maiya didn't have the time weed through the things she was snatching. It was more efficient to pocket the items now and go through them for the most lucrative ones later. Probably end up discarding half of it as she doubted a half wit like him really had anything decent on him. [break][break] "Well if I did that where would the fun be?" she laughed and shook her head. Poor sod had no idea what he'd be targeted for and that was fine by her. This started a little rough but was ending just fine for what she wanted out of it. "Maybe you should keep an eye out for things that look suspicious next time you're running around with such a stupid look on your face." [break][break] Maiya circled him, sure to stay out of arms reach just in case. Maybe he had something else interesting on him for her to snag, better to be safe than sorry. She eyed the pokeballs but honestly left them, she doubted an idiot like him had anything even worth selling. Better she start backing out now. [break][break] That's exactly what she was trying to do, slowly start backing away.

Now at this point, Reggie was only half aware of what was actually going on, in his mind this was still about his reaction, and this wasn't at all a mugging. Although that would explain why she was searching his pockets for his things, and sadly he didn't think it was that off chance that she was making sure he didn't drop his keys of anything. Now that would be a nice gesture, but sadly that didn't seem like the case. Another groan came the poor fella, as a sort of response to her comment on it being fun. "I don't think headbutting someone is all that fun." To be fair, it did not sound all that fun, especially if this was the aftermath. [break][break] "B-but I that was my normal face." The brunette muttered under his breath, as his vision started to get back to normal, and he didn't see three of everything. He slowly tried to sit up, with his hand still against his head mainly in a attempt to massage the sore spot on the back of his head. The mechanic was still a little baffled at the whole situation, especially since his pockets were now relatively empty although he wasn't aware of that fact at the moment. All he knew is that the girl is now backing away from him, maybe to avoid being part of the scene or because she felt bad about injuring him? [break][break] Now, he wasn't aware it was because she was planning to get away before he noticed. Once again proving his hardheadedness and his dense nature. "No need to run, it was just an accident."
[attr="class","reggyooc"]Maiya Thompson | only one way to find out, if that's the case.
A small part of her actually kind of felt bad for the guy at this point. She doubted he'd been planning on his day going like this but she had to make a buck too. Okay and maybe it really was mostly because she was feeling pissy but that was beside the point, it just so happened she also could use the money because while her client paid for room and board he didn't exactly pay for much else most the time. The jackass. [break][break] "Thanks sweety but I'm busy, really, you go on, have fun without me alright?" she was already waving to him as he seemed to be accepting his fate of her well executed heabutt (it was one of the few moves she got to use regularly really, much to his lack of luck). The girl was grinning and she made a point to try and sneak into the crowd and avoid any onlookers that might have been watching. [break][break] Later she'd probably spend a fair amount of time looking over her haul and wondering to herself why she chose such a weird target, really what was half this stuff even? Oh well she'd get what she could out of it and maybe trash the rest, or hold onto it for something. She'd see.

"A-alright, I will just be here... you know resting my head." He sighed slightly as she started to wave away, since that was an automated response he didn't realize what he said until after she had already managed to slip away. When the man took a quick check around his figure to see what fell out of his pockets, it was then he reality sunk in. He was missing almost all of his crap. This prompted another groan from the man, this one being one of annoyance at this reality and getting a little louder as it sunk in. "You gotta be kidding me... even my keys? Oh no, my baby." His face moved from a deadpan state, to one of pure horror as he realized that he lost his bike. [break][break] "U-umm excuse me, Reginald?" The bartender called out from the counter, who he promptly glanced at while picking up his pokeballs who was thankfully wasn't taken. That would just be even more depressing to be honest. "How did you want you accept your pay?" With a sigh the brunette called back. "Please give me the expensive whiskey in the back, I will accept a couple shots of that as payment." [break][break] He definitely needs a drink after that, and while dusting himself off and getting back on his feet, he mad his way back to the bar. Thankfully he did see some of the mysterious headbutter, but not really enough to get a clear image. It was the headache and now the booze to blame for that one, but he will get his keys back, even if it killed him.
