Endric hated waiting for cutscenes, or rather, for something exciting to happen. This dawdling around and waiting was starting to get on his nerves. Not that he would allow it to show. Just as always the man was quiet, composed, a neutral look on his face as he walked around outside of Pyrite. He'd heard the place was full of ruffians, or something akin to that and perhaps one of them would give him something to grin at for the first time in nearly a week. Seriously how much longer was all this going to drag on? What was there an old crone so far gone who could barely tell the different between the pot and his bed in charge of everything? Arceus that would have to change now wouldn't it? Then again what better way would there be for him to prove he was superior here just as he had been back home... Ah but that was for later. He was flat out disgusted to be honest. Really? He goes looking for some excitement and this.... thing crawls out and just.... sits in front of him. It was almost bad enough for him to just step on it and ignore its existence but he didn't want to get anything it might have all over his shoes. "Arceus Ivalice do something about this." The Roselia surfaced from her pokeball and seemed to look at the pokemon with equal amounts of disgust before looking back at her trainer. Was he really expecting her to deal with this? The look on his face said yes. The roselia used her poison sting and well, there wasn't much left to the incredibly low leveled by comparison slakoth so whatever was left was easily taken by the poison. It barely even managed a yawne, actually half way through the roselia just poison pointed it again. Both trainer and pokemon were left there looking at the thing with disappointment and disgust. Endric continued to walk, hoping to find anything better than what he had just come across. There had to be something. This blasted place couldn't have gotten the sort of reputation it had without good reason could it? He hoped not. He would have wasted a lot if he had. While he was more or less sulking around at this point his Roselia happened to pick around at the things around them a little bit. Not really looking for anything in particular, she was simply a little curious as to why she'd been brought to such a place to begin with. She found something though, it look awful familiar. Like something the humans usually had. It made a noise when she shook it too, like it was full of something. She didn't understand it though so she brought it over to her trainer. Endric perked up a little at the pokemon's finding, it wasn't the sort of thing he had been hoping for but something like a super potion was nearly always worth it. He'd make good use of this one in the future. Even as Endric continued to make his way through, honestly hoping to see a ruffian or some such not more... useless things, he had not anticipated what came next. He had not seen it coming at all. He had expected nearly anything over this. A psyduck waddled around the corner and came to stand in front of him and his pokemon. It turned and tilted its head at him and his pokemon and while Endric kept his composure, his was well beyond the sort that would allow even this stupid thing to break the carefully made shell when someone might see anyone could look in his eyes and see the growing anger and hatred at this stupid yellow rubber ducky standing in his way. "Kill it."Roselia obliged. Poison sting brought the psyduck to attention, as if startling by the poisoning attack the duck tried to use... water sport? If Endric could boil hotter with anger he would be at this point. Not only was he finding useless things he found a stupid useless thing too. "Absorb"The Roselia obliged again, the attack hitting strongly against the water typed pokemon, followed by the draining effect of the poison left behind. Perfect, this would be a quick battle. Especially when the duck simply... turned to whip its tail at Roselia... only it wasn't very accurate over it at all. The Roselia simply replied with another count of absorb, it wasn't worth putting that much effort into. Water sport might have already been in effect but this Psyduck couldn't remember that. Roselia finished things off with another Poison sting and when the duck fell on its stomach doomed to not rise again for quite some time she went to stand on its back and claim her spot as victor, above such a silly creature! "Come on Ivalice." The Roselia looked almost as smug as her trainer as she hoped off to continue the search for a worthy opponent. 1/5 Ivalice | female roselia | lvl10 | poison point absorb | growth | poison sting | stun spore |

A mankey dropped down from somewhere and very nearly landed on his head. This was far more displeasing than any of the others had been if he were to speak honestly. He hated lowlife anything touching his person. The mankey took a fighting stance and in all honestly Endric could not have possibly cared less about how much it wanted to battle. Actually he moved to walk right by it with Ivalice in tow. He'd have mercy on this wretched thing for now. The mankey proceeded to try and hit roselia with a karate chop. she dodged just in time. "No mercy." His Roselia obeyed, opening with a poison sting, the mankey wasn't pleased and retaliated by focusing its energy, his roselia responded in turn with growth followed by an absorb, leeching a little bit of energy off the mankey which gave an angry cry before coming in for another karate chop. This time it hit and the plant responded by dropping its stun spores around the mankey, enough that the pokemon was noticeably effected. Perfect. She bounced back, putting distance. The mankey tried to focus its energy again and the roselia would not allow such misbehavior in her new kingdom. A quick poison sting and the mankey found itself in a bit of a bind, but it attempted a fury swipes, getting a couple hits in before the stun spores stopped it, one last case of absorb and the mankey dropped. Again the Roselia seemed ever so pleased with herself. The pair continued on once again. 2/5 Ivalice | female roselia | lvl11 | poison point absorb | growth | poison sting | stun spore |
