Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Tia had only recently managed to escape her captivity in Phenac, and with that she had found herself at the outskirts stand. The place was... lackluster to say the least. The young researcher couldn't really complain too much considering that this was what she wanted. Still, who was to think that there were places like this just outside of Phenac? It was.. a lot different and honestly, the young girl would have been lying if she wasn't a little frightened. There was only one thing to do when one was frightened. Hold your pokemon to your chest and hope to throw it at someone who bothered you. Yes, this was the perfect plan to make sure some stalker wouldn't try to take off with her. So the girl held luna in her arms careful that her horns wouldn't poke her too much that it would hurt.
Bright blue eyes were filled with worry as she glanced around worriedly and paced. Oh where was she supposed to go from here? "Luna what am I supposed to do?" she whined some as the corsola tried to comfort her master. Ah, she hoped that no scary person would jump out! They would make sure to give that scary person a piece of her mind, and maybe a piece of luna's horn while they were at it.

Well thankfully no stalker seemed to show up! That was definitely a good sign no matter how run down and scary this place looked. Maybe instead of packing so many candy like snacks she should have brought a little extra money. It wasn't like she couldn't cook either, but that required buying materials to actually cook. Maybe someone would take pity on her? Well, maybe that wasn't a good idea either, considering that she had already had a lot of kindness from the man who had saved her from phenac. She couldn't really ask for too much more could she? Tia didn't want to be that person that asked for too much after all.
Tia hadn't been paying attention and she felt her foot catch something and she squeaked almost falling face first into the sand around her. Thankfully she didn't impale herself with Luna's horns either as she only fell to her knees. "What on earth made me trip?" she said gently setting Luna down considering she didn't want to almost die again. The young researcher glanced behind her and dug into the sand to try and figure out what it was that she had hit. "What's this?" she asked as she pulled out a pokeball from the sand. It wasn't a normal pokeball though, but she hadn't seen anything like it.
"who would leave a pokeball out here? " she questioned but.. well it was hers now right? She had almost died for it so she might as well keep it. The researcher putting the ball in her bag. She would just have to find out later what it was for, and then maybe find someone else to help her out. Traveling alone was really really scary! Putting on a brave face the girl stood up once more and tried to get sand off her outfit before looking to Luna. "Let's try not to die in the desert okay?"

Other than almost impaling herself, things were actually going pretty good for her! Tia hadn't managed to come across any stalkers whatsoever! That was definitely a good things right now, cause she really didn't want to have to deal with it. She couldn't let anyone kidnap her after all! What was she going to do if someone kidnapped her after all? So by the time the young girl had managed to get all the dust off her clothes, it seemed that another pokemon had seemed to appear in the desert, but it surprised her. "What is a bug doing way out here?" she asked. Not that any of the pokemon could talk, but it looked like it was really drained and she felt really bad for it.
"Luna, let's fight it so we can get it somewhere nice!" she said. Tia probably wouldn't ever use the Heracross unless she had to, but she couldn't leave the poor thing here in the middle of the desert. "Alright Luna! Tackle then Harden!" she called. The corsola quickly responded launching itself at the bug and attacking with her hard body and making the bigger pokemon stagger back some as it seemed to be already almost done from the heat of the desert. How long had the poor thing been left out here? It quickly responded by launching a Horn Attack on the Corsola which didn't hit as hard thanks to the harden she had done.
"Again Luna!" she called quickly. The corsola quickly hardened her body once more and tackled the bug again as it staggered a bit more falling to a knee. On a normal playing field, they probably would have been in a lot more trouble then they were right now. This poor bug was a long way from home, and she really wanted to help it out. The researcher quickly dug around in her bag before grabbing one of her normal pokeballs and making it bigger. "I'm going to get you out of this place okay?" she called to the bug before tossing the ball.
She could only hope that it would let her catch it so she could get it somewhere nice.

Tia let out a deep sigh when the pokeball seemed to stop and signaled the capture of the heracross. The young female could only hope that she could either find the pokemon a good home or take care of it while she could. The battle had only just ended when the ground around her started to shake. "E-Earthquake!" she screeched and about had a heart attack. She quickly got in a small ball clutching onto luna who seemed to not be as freaked out as her trainer was. It was too small a shake to be a earthquake. It just meant that something was under the sand, something that was coming up from under the sand. Just like the pokemon had predicted a trapinch seemed to come up.
"H-Huh?" Tia weakly whispered before she saw the pokemon, wait she had heard about these! She had always really wanted one! A small smile came to her face and she looked at the pokeball still in her hand. "Maybe Taurus can help." she said quickly throwing the pokeball to release the weak pokemon. "I'll use a potion right after this Taurus, promise. Use Bullet seed!" she called. The pokemon quickly responded shooting bullets from its mouth that seemed to hit the trapinch three times before it finished. It had sapped a lot of the pokemon's health and it seemed really mad as it unleashed a sand tomb, which caught Taurus in it.
Thankfully the pokemon didn't have to move. "Bullet Seed again!" she called. The heracross quickly responded and shot bullets once more at the pokemon, this time seeming to make it rather weak as its movement slowed and it attacked moving closer with a Feint. Now was the time! Shuffling through her bag, the young researcher threw one more pokeball hoping that it would catch the rare ground type. Meanwhile she also pulled out a potion to spray on the poor heracross completely healing its health with the healing item.

"YES!" she called as she jumped in the air glad that she had been able to capture the trapinch. She appropriately named the little monster Aries before putting its pokeball in her bag. Now she had all really strong pokemon, except for Gemeni who hadn't been trained at all. A small pout came to her face at the thought, she would have to use the Chinchou eventually and with a blink the girl seemed to see another pokemon that she had thought was a statue. Or at least it was a statue until it started to move.
"ACK!" a sharp yelp came from the young girl as it moved towards her in a awkward way. NO NO NO NO NO! Pokemon were not meant to look like that and the girl quickly threw a third ball releasing her Chinchou. "G-Gemeni! Supersonic! Then Water Gun!" she squeaked. The little water and electric type responded and quickly shot a supersonic which seemed to hit right on the head making the creature confused before sending a soaking water gun that hit hard. The creature flailed around and managed to fall on its face taking some damage before slowly getting back up trying to move closer once more.
"EW EW EW EW, KILL IT" the girl squealed not wanting that creepy thing coming near her. Gemeni tilted its head before shooting another water gun which seemed to give the nosepass the picture as it fell over but weakly got back up and tried to waddle somewhere else giving the smaller pokemon a victory for the first time. Tia let out a shaky breath, thankful that it was gone now. "That was a close one." she said wiping some sweat from her brow.
