Well, this canyon was certainly big enough, Liam would admit. Him and Andrea had been walking for what seemed like hours, and probably was since the town. It was time for a break in his opinion. So he found a nice little rock he could sit down on and took a seat. Setting his bag to the side, he fished around through it until he found what he was looking for. He pulled out a water bottle -- which unfortunately had gotten pretty warm -- and a couple of snacks.
While he was doing so, Andrea wandered off. She wasn't really hungry so she didn't take anything Liam offered her from his bag. She just explored a little bit, looking for anything good. Instead she would come across a weird... bug? Definitely a bug. The two stood there staring at each other but Andrea decided she didn't like the strange Pokemon. And if she didn't like it, Liam wouldn't either. Okay he might but she didn't care, she'd rather eat it before letting him take it. It was creepy and had weird limbs.
So instead she would fight it before Liam came looking and saw it. She quickly lurched forward at it and suddenly scratched it. The Nincada tumbled back some but when it regained its footing it fluttered its wings angrily. This caused the sand around them to rise up and move around, getting in Andrea's eyes. This allowed the Nincada enough time to get out a scratch of its own, making the Zangoose let out an annoyed hiss.
Recovering after a few wipes of her eyes, Andrea used a Quick Attack before following it up with a Fury Cutter, finishing the poor Nincada off. Andrea slowly moved over to it and sniffed it before kicking it some and walking away.
