archer was born in the johto region, and was put in a orphanage and raised there for the first part of his life. however, this is where his sad story ends, at the age of six he was picked up by a strange man who didn't say much. after a bit of a travel he finally found himself at a rather huge home and the man told him that he would be staying here from now on. at first the young child didn't understand but he was taken inside by a servant of the home. what little the boy knew was that he was basically put into the family as the only heir and basically bought, but that didn't bother him as his life drastically changed.

he became the heir of a great company, and was treated like their son fully with all the perks of a rich family. unknowingly that family had some behind the scene work with the bad side of things and archer was put right into it. the boy didn't mind either, finding that his love of books, and the huge library were his favorite things about his new family. they took interest in his love to learn as well and got him private tutors to educate him and soon enough archer was one of the smartest people in that big house. along with his impressive photographic memory he was introduced to the real side of his family, the mafia.

he didn't mind being introduced to it, and became quite the tactician, and stayed with the family for many years. it was by fate that he would get in a fight with his family and leave taking all his savings, a single pokemon, and his wits leaving with a few selected things (books mostly) and finding his way to orre.
