Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

THINGS WILL GET BETTER, WHEN I STOP LOOKING OUT A BROKEN WINDOW
"Shit it seems like I took a wrong turn around here."
Mainly making the comment on the fact, that he didn't intend of making his way to this rather meeting grounds for trainers. Granted there wasn't that many around here, but still. This is where some of the more unsavory types liked to hang out, at least that's what he heard from a couple of the local members of the group. Not really the place a slacker like Caspian would want to go, people would assume that he was here looking for a battle of sorts. "No thank you..." He mumbled under his breath as he searched in his pockets for a fresh smoke.
He did come out around these parts to mostly get a feel of the area, along with getting some fresh air. Well as fresh as the air was before he started to puff his usual smoke. The labs were a little too stuffy for his tastes, and with all of those other researchers in the same room? Arceus no, it's too stuffy and he could barely think with those 'geniuses' with him. He used that term loosely as that is what they called those other blokes he worked with. The guy has seen middle-school smarter then some of them, and that was saying something.
"The sooner I get that promotion the sooner I can take my breaks... hang in there Cass." It was a mantra to himself at this point, the Cipher slacker muttered to himself, while mostly glancing around the place. See what kind of people were around here, and hopefully none of the cipher researchers around to tell him off.

"Aren't you one of those ones from the labs?" Endric made a point to at least be able to recognize the face of all other members of Cipher, even if he didn't know them by name. It was one of the many techniques he employed in getting people to be more... unguarded around him. Recognition, false praise, playing up the image of someone who's a good 'co-worker' won you favor in many ways. [break][break] Endric stepped in line beside the other, certain to be on the side without smoke as he himself found the things foul. He was honestly bored and simply seeking to get a better feel for his other Cipher members. Mostly to decide which ones were useful and which ones weren't. He'd likely have a long list of people to purge once he managed to take over the organization. [break][break] "Pretty boring lately isn't it? They seem to have us doing a whole lot of waiting lately." his tone was friendly, inviting, encouraging the other to talk a little, to let down his guard. Endric was particularly interested in the members of the lab after all. They were a crucial piece and he wished to start getting a feel for their ability now. [break] owo;;

"Hmmm?"
He wasn't really expecting someone to really notice him, especially someone to mention the labs which could mean that it was a Cipher agent like himself, that or a really confused member of the Pokemon HQ Lab. Chances are it was the latter. His face didn't seem all that familiar, so chances are he wasn't part of the research department, perhaps one of the ones on the ground putting in the work. Fighting the good fight, or something. "Oh, yeah. Part of the fun land of labs." It was a little evident that he didn't really like the labs, once again mainly because he could hardly place his head on the desk without being harassed by one of the others to do some work. Wasn't even allowed to smoke there, so fuck that.
So when the guy decided to lean beside him, with Caspian making a point to making sure he didn't blow the smoke at the guy. Cass wasn't that mean to people, well except if they deserved it, but that's besides the point. "Yeah I heard it was a little uneventful out there. Haven't had much time to check the situation out of the labs. We have been up to our knees in damn papers, with old research notes. Drives me nuts that we are still going by those, could simply do much better without them." Now this was one of the moments that Cass would love to trade spots with this guy, especially if it was boring. Boring meant slacking off could be a option.
"So what brings ya around these parts?" He casually asked while exhaling a cloud of smoke, making sure it was down-words and at an angle.

Endric listened intently, or at least faked doing so. In reality he couldn't have cared less what their situation at the labs was. Unless they were what was holding things up and preventing the plans from moving forward. Though even then it was a double edges sword. On one hand it was taking forever, on the other it gave him more time to plan and plot the eventual domination of Endric Von Ruhan. [break][break] "Better than out here, at least you're kept busy. They haven't given us much for ages now. All waiting and no play." he gave the guy and playful sort of pout, like someone trying to exaggerate things a little. He sighed, at least they had things happening in the labs. That was good to hear, he preferred the idea of at least something moving forward in some part of the organization. "I'm killing time at this point, nothing on the roster for awhile still." [break][break] It wasn't a lie but he was definitely disappointed in the fact that he was saying it to begin with. The fact that it boiled down to him having to play nice with other people around the group because there was absolutely nothing else for him to do at this point and he was getting tired of it. Yep, kept busy. Just the thing that Caspian loved to do, well if kept busy actually meant the opposite. There was a reason why the other members refer to him as the Cipher Slacker. With this being the perfect example, as he was currently dodging any semblance of work right now by being here. Hell, now he at least had a reason if anyone asked, as the agent was simply discussing matters with his fellow. Perfect.
"Well hey if you want we could swap, you go to the labs while I scope around." He chuckled slightly at his offer, granted he doubted that this green-haired agent would agree, that and the labs would hunt him down if that happened. The guy already tried to pull that crap the second week he got there, and it didn't fly. "Besides, gives ya time to really plot your next move, so it shouldn't be that bad." Now Caspian didn't mean Endric's plans for Cipher domination, because he wasn't that perceptive of his movements, but rather the group's next move.
With another puff of the researcher's cigarette, he took another glance to Endric and trying to remember if he saw him around, with hair like that how could he not? "What's yer name anyways? I'm Cass." The introduced himself before pulling out his package of smokes and offered it to the guy, just in case.

Whenever? Endric would be very likely to test this out, get the feel for this one and figure out if he was worth the time he was putting into him right now or not. If the guy could prove he was worth something he'd be someone Endric kept a close eye on in the coming days. "Might take you up on that offer." he wouldn't say much else, sound too eager and the retract an offer, sound too disinterested and when you answer it they might tell you no just to spite you. Always make it seem like it sounds like a good idea. [break][break] "I would hope it's not anything half-assed at this point." Endric gave a sigh that had a bit of a wishful tone to it. "Starting to get a bit boring around here don't you think?" Endric wished to keep up the conversation, at least a little bit. Just enough to make it seem like they'd had a good, friendly chat and then they could split ways. He'd catch up with the other later at the lab or something just to see. Especially if he was a lab rat, would be good to know which ones are smart and which ones aren't. [break] Caspian Locke

Alright, well Caspian couldn't really get a read on this guy mainly because he was getting two different vibes. One of a simple grunt trying to be friendly, and the other... was a bit off. Now Caspian wasn't the best at reading people but he could at least get a small feel about it. Like the sense of wanting to be more, much more, that was the kind of vibe he was getting. "Could just be my imagination though." He brushed most of the feeling off, while taking in another puff.
"Well whenever you want to, just hit me up." Better keep an eye on this one, but honestly Cass wouldn't really do much if this guy had alternative motives regardless. He would most rather roll with the punches, that or just close his eyes and just pretend that it didn't happen. So he continued his chuckle, before shrugging at the declined offer of a cigarette. Kinda figured, but it didn't hurt just to make sure, besides judging by the rattling of the package, there was only a couple left.
"Well if there was plans, I'm sure they will be worth the wait. Better not be wasting our time with half-assed ideas, and such."It was mostly a jab at the current way that they were operating. Arceus forbid that they drag him out here in the middle of the desert, claiming for a good chance for him to use his brains, and to never be bored. He was sure that Endric was the type of person as well, one that wouldn't want to get time wasted so might as well try to appeal to that. He was never really good at this whole game, not at all.
"Nice to meet ch'ya too." It was a rather nonchalant response before puffing out another cloud of smoke. It was at it's bud at this point, and with a small irritated sound he flicked the bud at the ground before stepping it out. With a small sigh.

"Alright, but just make sure you knock before entering the labs. They are a little hectic at the moment." With emphasis on the whole 'hectic' part, which is one of the many reasons why he decided to skip out on some of today's meetings and little research moments. He already saw most of the research, so he could let some of those lesser minds over there figure things out. Caspian was more then confident enough in his ability to deal with whatever those bigots figure out as their 'main game plan'. Bonus points if Endric would go to the labs, as he could try to get away from some of the more tiring work. Either way he looked at it, he was mostly in the clear. It couldn't possibly backfire, nope.
"Well who knows, maybe there will be fireworks or a ton of explosions when they do the grand plan." Cass let out a small sigh to go with his fellow co-worker's, as he would have to admit he preferred things to be slow, but not this slow. They needed to move on to a ore lax schedule. "Hmm? Yeah I guess, a lot less trainers then I thought would be around these parts. Especially given it's description from the locals." A little disappointing on that front, as he was at least expecting a battle to at least watch around these parts. Gave him a nice show before he would have to be send or dragged back down to the base. With another sigh he started to look at his watch at it's time.
"Might have to go back before the whole search party shows up or something." Wasn't wrong though, and he had a look of annoyance but it was granted given his stance on the matter of work. So he started to take a small long around the place, before looking back at Endric. "Well see ya' around the base then." He casually waved at the guy, before making his leave. He made sure to be discreet and not whisper anything stupid like he saw in the movies, like 'hail cipher' or something, although that would be funny just to confuse people.
lavish mansions[break]vintage wines[break]i'm so much more[break]than royal
Endric put on a bit of a pout when the other went to leave, it was too bad, this one had actually been quite chatty and in a much better way compared to most the others he had been dealing with around the organization. Most would have seen it as a rather mundane and unimportant conversation but Endric knew much better than that. Sometimes it was the simplest most mundane conversations that were the start of great little partnerships. Not to mention it gave him room to play much better than when someone saw through him too easy or pushed too hard. He liked to take his time with such things. [break][break] "Don't worry, I won't be that stupid." he stated with a small chuckle as if to say he found what Caspien had to say amusing. He made a mental note about that locals comment, it was good to know another face that wasn't from the region and might be able to share his sentiments on certain things. Though he doubted this one was from the upper classes like he was, his behaviors didn't say he was. It was easy to tell when someone was, there were certain things, certain habits and behaviors you never got rid of. He should know, he'd tried. "I suppose I'll have to let you know what the field looks like when everything starts going down Mr. Lab rat." he added as a bit of a joke of his own. [break][break] "Try not to blow up the labs or something." His good bye was almost jolly as he waved a little lazily while walking away. He would have liked that conversation go on a little bit longer. He knew one place he'd wind up in later, the Cipher labs. [break] Caspian Locke
