Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Off limits maiya's tiny little ass. That was the perfect sort of place you run around in to see whay kind of dilapidated old shit you could sell to rich idiots that'll do anything to have the newest decore even when the rest of the world sees it for what it is, trash. Plus the place could house the item she was in Orre for to begin with, hidden in its off limits belly. [Break][break] Maiya hopped through the dilapidated building with a surprising amount of easy for someone her size, she was pretty used to this kind of thing. What she wan't so used to was the little odd colored mudkip hopping after her. She had to wait for it ti catch up more than once, warching as it found a way to her, hopping and murping (thats what the sound soundes like to her) ans it went. She was still unsure of the creature but was determinesd to getuse out of it. [Break][break] She decided to give the pokemon a break and let it hang around while she looked through the area, sure to keep a bit of distannce from it. "Hey there whippersnapper what do you think you're doing?" [break][break] The voice sounded like it was about to die. Maiya turned to find it coming from an old man and wondered how exactly he got out here without actually dying. Seriously, the place was not easy to traverse, must've been a spry old bastard to get this far in. "Whatever I want you old coot." [break][break] Apparently that qualified as disrespecting your elders or something because next thing she knew he threw a pokeball out and along with it a stupid slakoth. She's never seen the appeal in the pokemon as anything more than a house pet as it didn't seem qualified for much else. Since Logan was already out Maiya decided she might as well have him get to work. [break][break] "Mud slap, water, tackle, whatever it is you do." the mudkip murped. "Murps will not scare them off Logan." He murped again but at least this time he murped and hopped closer to the slakoth who almost seemed to wave at him, until Logan tackled it. At this point the slakoth rolled away with a cry of distress, to be honest she had to wonder if it wasn't about to start crying, until it yawned. It yawned in the wrong direction and Maiya started questioning her life choices. Logan tackled it again and once again, the slakoth went rolling with a high pitched whine trailing behind it. The slakoth didn't attack, rather it just sat there waving its arms around (truant activated!). Logan tackled it one more time and sent the pokemon rolling right to the old mans feet where it lay, fainted. [break][break] Maiya was hoping that would be it but nope, the old man whipped out a jigglypuff. At least they actually did something. She was about to give Logan a command when it started singing, covering her years she yelled for him to do something to keep from sleeping- and then the last thing she expected happened. [break][break] With an angry murp Logan jumped on the jigglypuff, knocking it over before getting in its face and making one long, loud, angry sounding cry of a pissy mudkip. [break][break] Translation:STOP THAT RACKET, HERE, MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP HOW DO YOU LIKE IT? [break][break] Even the jigglypuff just lay there blinking and before it could fully realize what was going on Logan hopped off and tackled it, sending its pudgy round body rolling away. Then the mudkip stood then letting out a long string of murps that one could like equate to an angry fed up rant. [break][break] Maiya's hands dropped to her sides and she just stared at Logan. Yup, she definitely got the broken mudkip. [break][break] While he was busy ranting the jigglypuff wound up for a pound attack and came in strong before he could realize he'd gotten caught up in his rant. However, the attack wasn't enough to actually deter the mudkip. No, he responded with a barrage of muddy slaps to the jiggypuff's face and even as it attempted another pound attack it was met with just another muddy slap. The barrage continued until the poor jigglypuff dropped. [break][break] Logan proceeded to hop and murp his way back to Maiya's side and Maiya stared down at the mudkip with wide eyes. Maiya kept her distance from Logan as they rummaged through the area after the battle. She kept side eyeing the mudkip with a wide eyed look. She wasn't fond of water types so she didn't know much about them and their behaviors but she was pretty sure everything she'd seen in Logan's first battle was not how they normally behaved. [break][break] She was trying not to worry too much when she heard a muffled murp from behind her and she turned to find him holding something for her. She crouched down to let him drop it in her hand. Guard spec, she hadn't seen one of these in the area. She didn't normally use them but would pocket the item anyway because you never knew when it could become useful. Or be something she could sell or trade. "Not bad" she gave him a tentative pat and he seemed pretty happy with it. [break][break] And then he went and hopped away, murping again. [break] @mods[break] Recap:[break] no battles

Maiya was looking through what seemed like a broken box that from forever ago. If she'd found other combat items around here she figured she might find more useful stuff laying around. [break][break] With a little luck she moved stuff around and found something rolling across, when she picked it up though she gulped. [break][break] She quickly shoved the net ball as far down into her bag as it could possibly go so she wouldn't have to look at it. She was about to move on again when a series of murpings caught her attention. She went to find out what he was up to, hopefully he wasn't stuck in something. [break][break] Maiya found Logan hopping in circles around an ice heal murping away for everyone to hear. [break][break] "What is wrong with you?" she picked up the item and he came to a stop, murped up and her and then went hopping away again.
