Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

She was on a roll apparently, so were the pokeballs her pokemon started rolling back at her when she went to follow him. She moved to catch them before they could go too far, taking a moment to get a good look at them before stuffing them in her bags. [break][break] An Ultra ball and a Level ball, not bad, she could make use of them later if anything special came up for catching. She'd keep hold of these ones. "MURP, MURP, MURP, MURP, MURP" [break][break] Sounded the murp alarm in the distance. Maiya wasn't really in any hurry to get to the pokemon at this point, she was still trying to figure out what to make of him. By the time she got there his fight with the wild pokemon had already commenced. [break][break] When she got there her mudkip had apparently already tackled the machop to the ground and was sitting on its face sounding the murp alarm. Maiya stared at the scene for a moment until the machop tried to use focus energy and get the pokemon off. He seemed to not give a damn until he saw Maiya and started hopping towards her. Until the wild pokemon swung a low kick at him and once Logan was on his feet he decided he was having none of that and tackled away at the machop. Once, twice, it slipped in a karate chop and Logan retaliated with more mudslapping. More like furious mudslapping. [break][break] It didn't take long for her mudkip to just mudslap the machop into submission and Maiya just stood there, at this point she felt it was better not to question it. Well, the coast seemed to be clear again after that and Maiya didn't mind too much. She wanted to get back to item hunting, you know, the thing she had kind of been in the old ruined hide out for to begin with before an old man interrupted her. [break][break] Maiya was rummaging around in the broken bits and bobs again when she stumbled up on what looked like a couple of working items.. though only one panned out. Then the murp alarm went off again and when she went to find it she found Logan sitting on a dusk stone. [break][break] Both went to her bag. @mods[break] Recap:[break] no battle

Maiya was rummaging around again when she happened to look up and see a wild pokemon staring back at her. Under normal circumstances she would have allowed the mudkip to go to town but she wanted to get her hands on this furball. Recalling the ball of murp before he could do any damage Maiya turned around and let loose her Ralts instead. The pokemon was steadily becoming the strongest on her team and for good reason. It was a little powerhouse. [break][break] "Play nice Sylvia, we're keeping this one." The ralts trilled with joy and without hesitation teleported behind the doglike pokemon, while it was startled by the sudden shift she used a psyshock on it, forcing it forwards and damaging it. The pokemon stood to growl at leer at her and attempted to lunge forward with a bite, Sylvia's double team caused the attack to simply graze and in retaliation the ralts executed a well placed confusion and at this point the dog was visibly weak enough to be caught. [break][break] "Pull back." the pokemon obeyed, Maiya returned her to her pokeball before throwing one of the normal ones she had brought with her on her trip. Maiya just stared at the sight in front of her, this was ridiculous. What in the world was with this place. Was it Logan? Was Logan attracting this kind of shit to him like some sort of weird murping beacon of wtf? She didn't have time to question it the man had already finished with whatever stupid monologue she couldn't be arsed to give a damn about he had started on and was throwing pokemon at her, fine, whatever. More shit for her. [break][break] Slugma, perfect, Logan wouldn't have a problem with that thing, not in the slightest. She popped him out of his pokeball which apparently he had not wanted to be in because he came out with a loud and proud MUUUUUUUUURP of defiance and victory. Victory over what? Heck if Maiya knew she was done questioning the stupid thing today. She knew nothing of water types and this stupid fish with clam fins just made her feel like she knew even less. [break][break] Logan proceeded to hit the ground running, right into the slugma. Running tackle, her fish was a genius. At least it seemed to work. The slugma responded by throwing some rocks at him and this just seemed to upset the fish thing further before it started using mudslap on the slugma, which proved to be rather effective. The pokemon tried to yawn but it just got socked in the jaw by another mud slap. Murp slap murp slap murp slap murp slap- [break][break] Maiya had to return her mudkip before he ended up doing anymore damage to the already fainted pokemon. She stared down at his pokeball for a moment, she had no idea what his problem was but arceus' tits she wasn't sure she wanted to know at this point. [break][break] Now the man seemed to be incredibly angry with how this was going and released a gastly. Uninterested in playing games with a ghost type Maiya released her Vulpix to handle this one. The battle didn't even last that long. [break][break] Meryl started off strong with an effective fire spin, preventing the other pokemon from going far or getting too near. It tried to use hypnosis but her Vulpic responded by turning around and throwing up her tails and wiggling her butt at it, taunting the poor gastly with the fact that her fire was a little hotter than he could handle. Once she decided it was safe she turned around and used ember on the pokemon, it leered back at her and tried to spite her but it didn't stop the next ember from happening. Between the ember and the fire spin it was an easy enough victory and the ghost of a pokemon eventually dropped. [break][break] When he dropped a marill on her next Maiya noped her Vulpix right on out of there. She'd rather send Cedric out and see how well he did with this thing. The moment he hit the ground the Maril started using water sport, just in case. Her swablu stared at the pokemon for a moment before scittering across the ground and proceeding to peck at it repeatedly. Right, two of her pokemon were special children. The maril responded with a tail whip and her swablu went into a flury of fury attacks over almost nothing. This prompted the pokemon to use water gun and Maiya immediately put more distance between her and the battle field. The swablu used astonish and while the maril was surprised went in for another flury of fury attacks, it proved to be the last needed and Maiya was ready to be out of there and away from the guy.
