Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Maiya was on the run out of the place, the water had gotten to her more than she let on and she almost didn't notice the item she stepped on until the fact that it was bright blue caught her attention. Doubling back Maiya found a rare candy just laying around on the ground. She pocketed it for now, She'd decide who to give it to later. [break][break] Her Swablue was skittering after her, she'd almost forgotten about him. Returning him tohis pokebal she chose to release her ralts. She'd rather have her strongest memeber out and about right now. @mods[break] Recap:[break] no battle occurred, ralts out.

She was still walking at a brisk pace when she rounded a beat up hallway and found... a wondering mareep? How in the world did it even get in here? She wouldn't argue of course but still. [break][break] "Weak not gone Sylvia." The ralts trilled, more than ready to obey her trainer. Just as before she teleported in on the mareep and blasted it towards Maiya with a psyshock, keeping it from running away. The pokemon tried to tackle her but it did little good in the face of her double team, which continued on as it used cotton spore to try and make up for the lost attack. Though the spores collected on her ralts the pokemon didn't really rely on her ability to move fast, rather the important part was her long ranged confusion attack which caused a fair amount of damage to the other pokemon, and left it mildly confused and tripping over its own feet when it tried to resapond with a tackle. "That's enough" [break][break] Maiya threw out a pokeball to capture the wild mareep. Even if she never used it the pokemon wasn't a bad thing to have around in most cases. @mods[break] Recap:[break] ralts weakened mareep for capture. capture attempt made.

They heard a cry and Maiya was pretty pleased with whats he saw when she turned around, not so much for catching but for training. If it was strong enough it would get her ralts a step higher much to her delight. [break][break] This was an easy victory, her ralts could see that too and took no hesitation to strike at the hitmonlee with a confusion attack and was pleased to see it do a notable amount of damage despite a level gap. The pokemon attempted to meditate and her pokemon saw the opportunity to use psyshock slamming the fighting type back. Starting to become aggitated the pokemon lunged forward to use low kick on the ralts, who responded with teleporting around him and using confusion again. With luck the pokemon stumbled a little. She watched as it tried to get close in again and us low kick once more just to find her ralts using double team and slamming it with another psyshock. The pokemon shook off the wooziness of confusion and tried to come in again, using close combat but the ralts teleported out of range, again, slamming it with psyshock and this time the pokemon stumbled back and fell to its knees. It wasn't feinted but it was weak and defeated, the hitmonlee acknowledged her ralts as victor before hobbling off to find a resting place. After the hitmonlee left Maiya turned to her ralts, honestly expecting to just get right back to hunting... and next thing she knew the pokemon was glowing and poof, evolution. [break][break] Well that happened. [break][break] "Come on Sylvia, we have items to find." The kirlia trilled and followed after her trainer, dancing around on her new legs. The two of them continued to search through the area to find items, and with their luck they found a unused tm and an awakening. They were still hunting for more items and loot when next thing they knew a night shade was thrown around. [break][break] Thank you mister wild gastly, nice to see you too. [break][break] "Weaken for capture." a simple command, she wanted this one. Gastly were useful and belong to a selective egg group. Perfect for Maiya's eventual needs. The kirlia trilled in confirmation before promptly teleporting behind the gastly, slamming it down with a psyshock. The ball of gas too the hit particularly hard, typing screwing it over. It tried to respond with hypnosis, her kirlia activating double team to sweep around it and prevent the ability from hitting because it couldn't get a lock on her. As always, the kirlia was quick ad efficient. As the gastly tried to get a hold on her she blasted it with cofusion, and even if it didn't work fully the gastly was noticable woozy. Bobbing up and down and groaning to itself the pokemon seemed to be having trouble getting its head straight. One last psyshock was enough to secure it being weak. "Fall back."
