Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

He wasn't familiar with the history of this region, at least not as much as he would have liked to be. Even in his high class education there hadn't been a lot of information on the place, it was like a shunned runt of the litter. That's what also made it so interesting, why exactly, was the place so unknown everywhere else. [break][break] Perhaps this spooky house would hold some interesting information in it. If not he might find something useful. Perhaps more so than the Duma bird he had out with him, perched on his shoulder. He was unsure of how to reapond to that still bit it was better than his head like before. [break][break] He sweeped a beam of light across the floor, he'd find something eventually. Endric kept walking, light swinging from side to side until he was satisfied the floors were at least mostly clear. He began to look much closer in at the walls and shelves and the things littered there. Everything was scatter about and in disarray, many things had been lost under layers of dust, untouched for far too long. [break][break] As Endric walked, his silly Duma bird on his shoulder squawked and he gave it a look of annoyance before almost stepping on something. Swinging his light down he found his foot on top of a pokeball. Picking the item up he determined that it was unused and still valid for capturing. He pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket to wipe the dust off with before sticking it in his pocket. [break][break] Endric coontinued forward. [break] @mods, duma bird still out

She looked like she had been hopped up on 10 cups of coffee with another 3 pounds of sugar trailing behind them. She was downright hideous to looks at. Her pokemon were no better ad Endric had to actively try and not roll his eyes at the sight of the ekans. "Duma." [break][break] The bird barely needed a command he was already dive bombing to snake pokemon and pecking at it with much ferocity. The snake responded by attempting to wrap itself around the bird but it didn't get very far before the pokemon started dropping nightshade on it, the snake retaliated with poison sting but the bird didn't seem to give a shit. More ferocious pecking awaited the snake and eventually led to its demise. [break][break] Endric returned the bird, he was starting to get tired of the pokemon's behavior and much prefered Ivalice, though sill she was far more controlled. [break][break] Ivalice was released just in time to combat a gastly who she leaned toward to look at with wide eyes and an "ooooooh" face. It was just a ball with giant eyes attached to it! And it was floating! Ooooooh so cool! It looked like it belonged on tv. Did she look like she belonged on tv? She hoped so. She was getting distracted though, so distracted she barely noticed the enemy pokemon's mean look, not that it meant much anyway. When remembered there was supposed to be a battle going on she went right into a poison sting, and while typing was at her disadvantage it was obvious that levels were not. Being nearly double the other pokemon's strength greatly made up for the typing. [break][break] Endric watched as she closed in, doing a little jig as she dropped stun spores around the battlefield and in a rare moment of genuine amusement actually did laugh at his pokemon. [break][break] When the gastly attempted its lick attack it ended up with a mouthful of spores and even as a ghost type it soon found the sensation unpleasant and Ivalice seemed to giggle. While it was busy trying to get the spores off its tongue she shot another poison sting at the pokemon. It soon found itself having difficulty retaliating and the next poison sting was more than enough to secure the defeat. [break][break] Trainer and pokemon alike walked off, both were inwardly laughing. Endric had returned to looking around the house and before long found a leftover evolution item. That didn't surprise him too much, he was about to pocket the item when Ivalice popped up and placed her head against his elbow, staring at the item with a great amount of fascination, to which the man chuckled. Despite how he usually seemed one of the few things in the word that made him genuinely happy was Ivalice. He knew she'd seen things like a king's rock before but the roselia so did enjoy being silly. He'd humor her, he always did. [break][break] He held the item out to her and she leaned it to look at it very closely, leaning around to look at it from all angles, nudging his hands to turn it this way and that so she could see every inch and finally determine once and for all, it was a rock. But not a king's rock, it was a QUEEN'S rock. And it was supposed to be on a queen's head. [break][break] She stood up straight and prepared to be crowned. Endric rose and eyebrow to look at her with a surprising amount of sofness in his features, something most would probably think was impossible. She opened an eye after a moment and motioned towards her head. Shaking his head Endric moved to place the crown upon her head and bowed before the Queen. The Roselia returned the bow. [break][break] The two of them continued on, Endric actually smiling while the Roselia next to him chittered away about her brand new crown. Great, jacked up ladies brother is apparently trying to battle. And with a dunsparce. Really? Did he look like he had time for this? No. He didn't. The stupid thing was lucky, or unlucky depending on how you looked at it, that Ivalice wanted to show off her brand new crown. If it weren't for this they would have bypassed the idiot and ignored him. [break][break] Endric sighed, but at the end of the day he'd almost always humor Ivalice. In this case he certainly did. She was pleased until the dunsparce used friggin rollout on her! How dare he! She was the queen! You obey with the queen or it's off with your head!! When the second rollout came she moved aside, shaking her stunspores out to litter the place it would rollover, the pokemon was sure to pick them up and it certainly did, when it tried to swing around for another round it came to a stop from the paralysis and she turned with a dramatic pose, making a point to let the pokemon see her aim before letting loose her poison stings, one, two, three, she was not playing games. You obey the Queen. The Dunsparce turned to screech. She covered her ears and glared at the thing. Oh this simply would not do! She used absorb, leeching off the pokemon to make herself feel better and when it tried to attack again with roll out she moved around it, using her poison sting as she went. [break][break] She totally wasn't trying to copy some of those super cool action scenes she saw on the tv all the time nope nope. She was just a super badass queen because why else would anyone bow to her? [break][break] The bug stopped rolling, actually it stopped doing anything at all and Ivalice stood tall(ish) and proud over her victory before bowing to her audience and returning to Endric's side. [break][break] Next he released a slugma and while Endric doubted it would be a challenge he still didn't feel like dealing with Ivalice's petals getting burned, she was always so needy when that happened, clinging to him for days until it healed all the way. She'd even used it as an excuse to get extra cuddles before. The slugma would be dealt with by the stupid bird. [break][break] He released the bird and it went straight into using nightshade on the lava... thing. Whatever it was. The slug seemed to look at him funny before yawning but the bird closed his eyes. He didn't wanna see none of that going on, though this also resulted in the use of a blind peck, more than one before he hit his target but at least it did something. The slugthing picked up some rocks to try and throw at the bird and it responded by pecking further. It wasn't until the slug tried to light him on fire though that things got out of hand. The fursious pecking sounded almost like a woodpecker pecking on a tree and Endric let out an exasperated sigh. [break][break] It was only okay because the Duma bird fainted the slug after long enough a time and Endric was finally able to move forward in the hopes of finding something worth his time.
