Endric had no visible difference or reaction to the sight of the cacneathat walked out in front of him but anyone who knew him and the type of pokemon he liked would have known better. Underneath that well crafted shell the man was actually buzzing with excitement. It was one of the few pokemon he actually adored, not just tolerated. This was the first he had seen since he got here, the pokemon was not going to be getting away from him easy.

"Let's see what you've got Iselia." he told the ghost and she seemed reluctant to abide but did so anyway. She went right in with a psywave and the cacnea wasn't ready for it, a straight hit as it had been happily dancing along up until they interuppted it. Not that endric cared as he was more enthralled by the chance to capture one. This endeavor was actually proving to be worth his while after all.

The cacnea rolled onto its feet and shot a poison sting at iselia which she spited him for before following it with another psywave, rolling it onto its back again. The pokemon rolled away, or at least tried to and was met with an astonish, startling it back to its feet. Her last psywave was enough to leave it plenty week.

Endric threw the pokeball before she could attack again, he looked forward to this one.
