Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Goodness this place was huge. Even though he had been here before, it was still surprising at how big the place was. He didn't waste time trying to do the math on how many people could fit in here, though. He dismounted August then recalled her. After he asked a guard where the nurse was. A place this big had to have a nurse somewhere, kids were probably running everywhere... that and it wouldn't surprise Alastair if this building had an indoor pool or something. He thought about this while he made his way to the nurse and got the wounds properly treated. There was a long gash traveling from the mid of his calf towards the front of his foot, missing his Achilles tendon by an inch or two.
The nurse had patched up his leg pretty well, covering it with gauze and tape. She gave him some pain meds, not the strong stuff, and told him to take it easy. Probably hang around the place for a while. Alastair would do just that. He knew where the hotel was. He could probably find a cheap room and pay for it by fighting people. Of course... there was a problem... Leap wasn't the strongest and was far behind everyone else. August had already leveled up considerably. He was going to train his horse but for right now, Leap had to play catch up... so did everyone else. He would have to stop by the store and stock up on Potions, though. This was going to take a while.
After he had found his way to the hotel and booked a room, Alastair took a shower and replaced the bandages as carefully as he could. He then got out fresh clothes, making a mental note to do laundry at some point... well... he might as well do it now.
He took the clothes to the laundry room in the hotel and sat there, waiting for it to finish washing so he could dry it. Leap seemed to be enjoying himself too. The Pokemon was floating above the machines, laying on the moving ones before lifting off and calling at Alastair.
Alastair smiled at the Beldum and got back to filling out his notes about the Pokemon, and about what he found at the ship. Mostly just about the items inside. Was it a cargo ship or were they carrying something else? Something the public didn't know? At any rate it was an interesting question. One to tide Alastair over while his clothes washed.

Leap began to make an unholy noise. Alastair got up and went over to the Pokemon, seeing something hiding under some lint some jerk didn't throw away. Alastair picked up the lint and the item under it. Oh! A nest ball? Well, the jerk had dropped something... Alastair was throwing away their trash so he would keep the item as payment. He limped over to the trash can and put the lent away, Leap watching intently. Then Alastair put the nest ball in the bag. Leap watched him again and then floated off, finding lint hidden behind the machines. He sucked it up with his magnetic floating... somehow, Alastair didn't want to question it. Then the Pokemon began cleaning the room. Alastair got back to writing his notes.
The Beldum gently head butted him in the back, making Alastair straighten up and look at the Beldum. Leap gave him a soft, gurgling call. "Good job," Alastair said, "You're a helpful Pokemon." Leap's eyes brightened and the Beldum settled beside Alastair, exactly a foot away. Alastair smiled. Progress. He went back to working.

Alastair put his clothes in the dryer and sat back down, Leap floating off out into the hallway. The Beldum was exploring, always staying within at least fifteen feet of Alastair's presence. On the Pokemon's way back to the washing room, he came across a little bear. The bear was going towards the laundry room. Oh no! It must be going after the human! Or, that was what was going through Leap's head. The Beldum charged and used Take Down on the bear, knocking it away from the door of the laundry room. The bear got up and began to cry. Leap stared at the bear. He felt nothing for the crying bear. The bear stopped suddenly and crossed its claws.
Leap used Take Down again, the bear responding with Baby-Doll Eyes. Leap blinked once more. What was with these weird facial expressions? The bear puffed out its cheeks and came at Leap with Scratch, the Beldum moving backwards to dodge. Then, Leap used Take Down again. The bear backed away and then charged, Scratching Leap hard. The Beldum let out a soft cry then used Take Down once more, the bear fainting by the time it got to a bend. Leap floated back into the laundry room, finding Alastair where he was before the Beldum wandered off. The human was safe. Good. Leap moved to be half a foot away from Alastair and stopped floating, laying on the bench beside the human. Yes, this was good.

Leap was falling asleep next to Alastair. He was so comfy just laying on the bench. When a little timer beeped and Alastair got up, though, Leap went into full panic mode. Her moved close to Alastair, almost on top of him, studying the source of the beep. Humming, Alastair opened the boor and began to fold his laundry, putting it in a neat stack. Leap watched him do this then wandered off, finding something else hidden. Leap put it on his head somehow and flew back to Alastair.
"Lovely crown, your highness," Alastair said, taking the King's Rock. "Let's take it back with us. Has to have a use for something." He put it on top of the laundry stack and limed back to his room with Leap following. Alastair put the clothes back in his backpack before swinging it over his shoulder. Oh, he wasn't leaving. He still had to let his leg rest, but he wanted something to eat and there were some nice restaurants around here.
He went down the elevator, Leap still floating beside him, and then exited on the first floor. Now... he had to find a place to eat. A place with food for Leap too.

Alastair looked around, trying to find a good place to eat... he was pretty hungry... so he figured he would splurge on something good. Now it was just a matter of what... a nice sit-down place or some health food place? While he thought about it, staring at the map of the tower, Leap got distracted and floated away. He rummaged through the plants placed around the place and returned with a pokeball balancing on his head. Alastair smiled at Leap.
"Well aren't you a particularly good finder?" he said, taking the pokeball. "Now where do you want to eat?" Leap looked at the map and chose the most colorful of squares. "That's shoe shop, but OK. How about this one?" Leap nodded. Then it was decided. Alastair chuckled and got moving. "
