- Rowena was born in the winter time in a manor in Kalos. She grew up rich, and spoiled. Very spoiled. Whatever she wanted, she got at the snap of a finger. House servants would obey her every whim. She was her parents' little "angel", as they called her. And she was perfectly content to live this way as long as possible. But unfortunately not everything is that easy...[break][break]
- When Rowena was eight, her family suddenly went bankrupt. She was never sure why or how, but they did. Their servants all left, and they were left on their own, with no servants, no house, no money. Nothing. Because of this, the family had to move in with family in the Orre Region.[break][break]
- During her time in Orre, she heard about the old Cipher from her uncle. This got her interested and she secretly began to read up on everything that she could about them. She was absolutely enthralled with the idea of them and shadow pokemon, mindless pokemon. She was genuinely upset that their team no longer existed.[break][break]
- When she was fourteen her uncle gave her one of the baby Absol his trusted Pokemon just gave birth too. Despite not originally liking the idea of Pokemon having a mind of their own, she did wind up growing some strange form of a relationship with the Absol. The two of them vaguely got along, but they got along nonetheless.[break][break]
- When Rowena turned nineteen, on her birthday, her uncle pulled her aside and told her about the rise of a new cipher. CipherEx. She was more than excited to join and there was no hesitation in doing so. And that was how she became a new recruit for Cipher.
