Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

The soon to be cop had been running around most of the Orre region as fast as he possibly could, because there had been rumors.. bad rumors. Rumors of a bad guy group that was to threaten all of the Orre region soon enough if they allowed it to continue the way it was. So this was a job for a cop! A cop that wanted to keep all the region of Orre safe, at least that was what he was going to do when he actually became a cop. For now however, he would simply try to make sure that he could do as much as possible to keep people safe. So finally his search had brought him to the shadow pokemon lab. A place that was now just ruins of a lab that was supposed to make shadow pokemon according to the legends, but many people thought it was just fairy tales, but the building sure was real at least.
The trainer started searching around to start his investigation, after all people had reported the lights flickering at this building. If that was true, then something was definitely going on here.. maybe it was kids putting their noses where they didn't belong, but one could never be too careful when it came to the safety of others. So he was here any way to make sure that nothing was going wrong, instead however he found a run down building with no signs of life the lights were all off, and he wondered if it really had just been rumors and stories that the lights had been on this entire time. Honestly, maybe his investigation had led him to the wrong place, but it did look shady enough to be a bad guy headquarters alright. Maybe if he looked inside he could at least convince himself that there was nothing going on.
Xander used his upper body strength to push the door open and head inside. Maybe this hadn't been the best idea considering that there was little to no light in here. Maybe he should come back, but suddenly he heard a noise deeper in. "Hey is somebody in here?" he called stepping forward and about tripping over some kind of machine till he face planted on the dusty floor. Ugh, this investigation was not going as smoothly as he had hoped.

So... Maybe her idea for checking out the former shadow lab on her own wasn't the best of ideas? Unable to get the door open herself she had gone through great lengths to get in through a window. Unfortunately though that seemed to be a one way entrance since there didn't seem to be anything sturdy enough to hold her up to get back out the window. Sure Cayenne had tried pushing a table over to the window but she was far too short to get out the way she had gotten in. Luckily though with the constant glow from Flambé's shell had left her with enough light to see by. As much as she was pretty sure she was going to end up dying here at least she would have light to do it by.
Though knowing her luck some sort of big baddie would come along when all hope seemed lost and she would have to fight them off! Then they would totally let her join the police force, right? If she went ahead and proved herself to be capable enough to bring in a criminal it wouldn't even matter that she wasn't eighteen yet! That sounded right in her head at least. The sound of someone knocking into the door caused her to rouse out of her daydreams. Especially since at the moment it seemed like they had come to life. Some big bad had finally come in!
Which meants that she needed to make sure she sort of had the upperhand. After all they didn't know that she was in there yet. At least until she felt her foot hit something metal on the floor, sending it crashing across the space and hitting something else metal on the way over. "Ow ow ow ow!" Wincing with pain she hopped on one foot for a moment, not even realizing that her cover was blown.

Xander hadn't really thought about if someone else had come like him to inspect the place. It seemed that two wannabe cops had come this way to try and make their mark and stop some bad guys before they could do anything bad to harm the people of Orre. It did seem that both of them had horrible luck however, and with something metal kicked in his direction the man had managed to fall face first onto the floor. Thankfully, for what he lacked in his brain most of the time, he made up with stamina as after a moment he quickly sat back up and rubbed his face some. "Man, that was not what I saw coming." he mused.
Wait... no it all made sense now! The bad guy was doing it to sabatoge him! How dare they make an officer look incompetent in front of possibly more bad guys. Red hues managed to see the glow that was coming a bit deeper in and instantly thought that perhaps the baddie who had sabatoged him had some kind of light! It made total sense, they were trying to have the advantage and sneak up on him! But Officer Xander would not let such a trick fool him as he quickly made his way closer to the light careful not to trip over anything this time as he quickly moved luckily not falling on his face this time.
The closer he got the more he heard noises that sounded in pain, and it was obviously female. How sneaky! A baddie posing as a innocent female who needed help, these bad guys were more cunning than he had originaly thought! Xander quickly jumped into sight only a few feet from the girl with striking red / pinkish hair and a torkoal. "Stop right there! You're under arrest for questioning in this abandoned lab!" he called. Xander quickly moved a hand to his belt for his pokemon if she resisted or even his cuffs that were somewhere back there.
"Dont try to resist or I'll have to use force!"

That guy thought he was so clever! But she wasn't going to fall for any of his tricks. After all, she was here to arrest a bad guy and since he was the only one here it made sense that she was here to arrest him! Not wanting to be caught off guard anymore than she already had been Ayane straightened up and put her hands on her hips. She had to make herself look bigger and more intimidating than she actually was. Her Pokemon looked pretty intimidating in the dark so hopefully that would help at all. And the absolute nerve of this bad guy! Saying that he was going to arrest her? She was the representation of the law here, not him! His quick movement caused her to step back some since it was obviously, probably, for a weapon of some sort.
"Well you're under arrest for impersonating a police officer! Put your hands up!" Fumbling around at her side she pulled out her totally legitimate, dollar store, handcuffs that she had picked up. There was no way in the dark to tell that they were made of the cheapest metal on earth and this guy didn't need to know that. Especially since she was about to slam the book on him. "Don't make any sudden movements." How dare he threaten to use force against a police officer in training. That would be a double booking. One for being a bad guy and the other for trying to beat her up. It was expected that some people would try and get rough with her but that didn't mean she had to sit there and let them.

Xander didn't really expect what he saw next, since getting closer to the woman.. she didn't look like a bad guy either. A small frown crossed his face as he looked her over and she was generally half his size and she looked so tiny compared to him. Honestly, the small thing looked like she had gotten lost rather than being the bad guy that was messing with the lights of this place. For a moment the officer almost thought that maybe this had just all been an accident, at least until she began to speak in response to his.
What? Impersonating an officer? No, he was the officer! Well, not yet but he might as well be, and this girl didn't even look old enough to be a cop. "Of course I'm a cop, I'm an officer in training thank you very much!" he said his scarlet hues trying to see well enough to see if what she pulled was real cuffs as she had moved back further than him. "You don't really look all that terrifying to be a bad guy. Are you trying to set me up, so when I turn my back the real bad guy is going to jump out?" he said in demand to her.
That was it! Her pretending to be an officer to confuse him and then they would get him while he was trying to help this girl. How could they use a girl like that?! It didn't matter, she was impersonating an officer and assisting the enemy now he really did have to arrest the tiny thing. "Sorry kiddo, you're assisting the bad guys, I can't let that go. I'll still have to arrest you but once we get this all cleared up then maybe we can get your record clean." he said grabbing the pokeball that belonged to Krab. It was obvious this girl had a fire type so the best to take her down would be his water type.
"Last chance, tell me where the real bad guys are so I don't have to fight with you." he said. Xander really hated the idea of hurting a girl or one as innocent looking as this one.

It was frustrating that the guy wouldn't give up his fake police officer act. After all it was obvious that he was the big bad. And how dare he assume that just because she was small she didn't mean business. Not that she was the bad guy but darn it she was perfectly capable of holding her own against whatever came her way. Especially this guy! Sure she was young but that didn't mean anything. Some of the best Pokemon were super small and they still kicked asss. Gosh darn it this guy really burned her up! But she wasn't going to be intimidated by him not one bit. "I'm an officer in training!" They couldn't both be trainee officers could they? I mean, what was the likelihood that both of them would end up here at this exact time?
Then again if you thought about it, what was the likelihood that a bad guy would show up just when a bad guy did show up? Ayane hadn't even had to stakeout the place. Stomping her foot on the ground in frustration she shook her head. "I'm not a kid! I'm an officer in training!" Her entire family had been on the police force and the fact that she was being called on it now was more than a little frustrating. "I thought you were the bad guy!" At this rate if he was telling the truth they were just going to end up trying to arrest each other when they should have been focusing on finding the real bad guy. If he was telling the truth.

Honestly, it was getting a little hard not to get frustrated with the young girl in front of him, at this point he was a bit pre-occupied with the fact he didn't really want her to get hurt. She had cuffs though, which meant that she either was telling the truth or someone had bought some cuffs to pretend to be an officer. Xander really couldn't tell but with her threatening so much he could only assume the worse to prepare just in case his theory was correct. There could be baddies ready to jump out and try and end him as soon as he let his guard down, so he couldn't let it happen. "Maybe, but maybe you're saying that to distract me. I really don't want to see an innocent life get hurt, so please step down now." he said stepping forward trying to reason with the others.
Though the more she assured that she was an officer the more he was beginning to believe that maybe this was all a mistake. Maybe they had both come here at the same time and expected to be a hero. "You don't really look old enough to be an officer." he said softly. "But I wouldn't want to crush someones hope of becoming one when they are older." he said with a soft voice. When she claimed that she thought he was the bad guy he frowned and moved a hand to his hip. "If I were a bad guy, why wouldn't I have attacked you by now instead of arguing over who was a real cop? I've been trying to protect you more than anything. he said softly. @bee, they are great
