About:
Rakutsu is a former student of the trainer school in Phenac city and is a trainer on the path of strength. Which means he is trying to make a name for himself by fighting in Tournments and coloseums. He lives in a ranch and farm a few miles out of Phenac and is mostly seen around the dessert area riding his Hover cycle and training.
He tries to find interesting things to do. This leads him to offer help to Researchers with there work by leading a hand out on the field, investigating rumors or butting into police business.

If Rakutsu wants a research buddy to travel out in the wild with, Al is all for it ouo He could always use a trainer's help when studying the relationship between a trainer and their Pokemon. Like, honestly, they could do a mod thread together and Rakutsu get all the levels and items while Al studies how he reacts to his Pokemon and how his Pokemon react to him (since Al's favored research study is the bond between people and their Pokemon, and who has a stronger bond than trainers)?
So if Rakutsu would be interested in that then I feel like it could be good? Al is also a super loyal friend and if Rakutsu wants a Pokemon Al can capture, then Al will go hunting for it and get it to him ouo to the point of giving up those rare catches he can get in swarm threads for a friend.
