The best thing about shithole stands like this is that it attracted all sorts of weakened losers. It was the type of place where, if you waited long enough, some 'poor little Trainer' would wander nearby. All it ever took was a few slick words and he had made off with their wallet or even some more goods, if he was lucky. Sometimes they tried to resist by throwing pokemon out, but it was rare any of them were strong enough to take out Lady after being battered by the desert. Hiding in wait was what Basae had been doing for a while. So far it hadn't been his day... or night. The stars were stretched over the night sky and it was cool and crisp. Just how he liked it. A perfect evening for robbing people blind, just too bad he hadn't managed to come across anyone yet. The worse part was that Lady was getting bored. He liked to think himself a somewhat patient person, when needed, but his Snorunt was a diva about these sorts of things. She puffed and blew a sharp blast of air at a little hill of sand, freezing it solid before toddling over to her Trainer and leaning against him. "Sa'll right, Lady. Jus' wait a lil longer. Something will come." He tried to reassure his moody pokemon, but all she did was stomp one of her little feet and toddle to freeze another molehill and kiss some more time. Basae hoped he wasn't pulling her leg.
