Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Olivia breathed in the salty sea breeze that blew over the coast of Orre and let out a sigh. She had only been in Orre for a few days, hell she hadn't even visited the headquarters of the team she signed up for yet, but she already missed Hoenn. Sure, the climate and general terrain could be likened to Hoenn, an emphasis on could considering the majority of Orre is a desert which is the reverse of Hoenn which is generally tropical. The main issue she had, however, was that she knew very little about Orre. Olivia had no allies. No one to call on to pull a few favors. No one to do as she asked. Nothing. Virtually all of her resources were gone. All she had now, was well... Olivia glanced at the two pokemon at her feet, the crab like Beroe cuddling her boot while Actaea glared at him. They were all she had.
She shook her head before kicking the crab off her boot and continuing her walk around the beach. Her two pokemon followed her, the two falling over one another to get closer. Maybe one day they would be helpful. That day, Olivia assumed, would not be today.
No matter how you look at it, I'm a "miss", not a "ma'am"!

Olivia led her two naive pokemon down the length of the beach as they walked, ignoring their bickering as best she could. The walk could have been relaxing and calmed her nerves but that wasn't going to happen with her two pokemon going at one another constantly. What they needed was a way to let out their frustration without mauling each other. She could let them swim in the ocean, but with morning tide being so strong, there was the chance that they could be lost at sea. On the other hand, she could take the easy route and return one or both of them and finish her walk in peace. As Olivia considered her options, she came upon an odd sight, to say the least.
A young man, probably in his early teens, was frantically pacing while his Magmar stood by idly, creating rings of smoke. The perfect target for her pokemon to blow steam. Approaching the boy, Olivia asked, "What's wrong?" The boy stopped his pacing at her question and said, "My Magmar won't return to his pokeball! I'm supposed to be meeting my parents in half an hour and I can't bring a flaming monster inside the car!" A smirk formed on the brunette's face as she responded, "Well then, let's make your dear pokemon more compliant." Snapping her well manicured fingers, Olivia began barking orders. "Actaea, get in the water and use nature power!" The Lotad leapt into the water, listening to his mistress' commands, and began to gather the energy that nature had to provide him. Her Corphish began to scamper towards the ocean, but Olivia blocked his path with her foot and shook her head. This would be Actaea's battle.
As Actaea gathered energy, he growled at the Magmar, taunting it to come for him in the water. The taunt worked, and the Magmar attacked. The green haired boy shouted at the beast to stop and just take the hint to go into its pokeball, but like a forest fire, the Magmar raged on and spewed fire at Actaea. Olivia had no time to warn her pokemon, thankfully however, Actaea dove into the water, minimizing the damage. The Magmar approached the waves, searching for her Lotad, only to be blasted by a powerful Hydro Pump, finally taking the magma monster down.
As Actaea returned to her side, Olivia motioned towards the down Magmar before saying to the boy, "I think he'll be complicit now."

The boy looked at Olivia then back to his downed Magmar and finally at his watch. With a sigh, he pulled out a pokeball and returned the fire pokemon. "I really have to get going, but thanks I guess." He said, digging around in his pocket for something. From his pocket came a pale purple fruit. The green haired boy offered it to Olivia, saying, "This is all I have but I think you could put it to better use than me." Olivia was never one to say no to a gift and took the berry. She eyed it for a minute before saying, "Thanks. Get going now to whatever it is was so urgent."
The boy left, mumbling something about having to visit a Pokemon Center, and Olivia stored the berry in her purse. It wasn't something she was familiar with but she could look it up online later. Satisfied, the brunette turned to look at her two pokemon and was, again, disappointed. They were fighting. "Hey, stop that!" She shouted, causing the two pokemon to jump from the sudden noise. It was going to be a long morning.

The trio continued their walk down the coast line, Olivia admiring the view for the few precious moment she could before her pokemon would start bickering. She had hoped that by now they would have tired one another out. Her hope, unfortunately, was just that. A hope. With a sigh, Olivia sat on a small washed up piece of driftwood and watched her two pokemon fight with one another. As far as she could tell neither of them were trying to seriously harm the other. It was mostly spite filled glares and squeals with the occasional pop of a bubble. Annoyed with the unnecessary arguing, Olivia turned her attention to the log she sat on, feeling the weathered edges when she noticed something. It was hollow.
Standing, Olivia turned the driftwood on its side and was surprised to see what looked like some kind of machine part fall out. Whatever it was, it belonged to her now. Maybe she could sell it for some big bucks.

A splash of water alerted the brunette that someone, or something, had risen from the sea and Olivia knew well enough to take cover when a surprise happened. Sidestepping to the left, Olivia narrowly missed being drenched in water from her assailant. She turned her head to see who had attacked and made eye contact with an angry Wooper. That in itself was odd considering the mud dwelling creatures were, more often than not, docile lazy creatures. This one, however, did not fit the bill. It attacked again, this time to be intercepted by Actaea.
The Lotad was ready to protect his mistress, and mire importantly, prove himself as the alpha of Olivia's pokemon. "Absorb!" Olivia ordered to Actaea, and he readied the attack, unleashing a red beam of energy from his leaf that struck the Wooper where it stood, draining the dual type water and ground creature of its energy. Another splash signified the fall of the Wooper, and Olivia took the chance to lob a pokeball at the Wooper before congratulating her Lotad on a job well done.
