Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

"... nothing but a damn nuisance..."
How long had she been watching? Probably after seeing Rocky approach the older man. He was handsome, and she would've talked to him if it weren't for his incendiary language, and for something else... She was friends with Rocky; they were practically boyfriend and girlfriend. The boxer probably had no idea she was following him until he looked up from the ground, ready to say something. His eyes grew wide, and she blushed, hiding behind the tree. They both took a deep breath, and Rocky approached her.
"Hey Amand-" SMACK.
Her hand was like a lighting bolt fired from an Electrode. Fast, quick, and only hurting the more he rubbed his cheek. Amanda's hands found her hips and she huffed, leaning over to kiss his nose. He blushed, but she had stormed off towards Eustace before he could say anything. Rocky was left bewildered and amazed.
"Hey! You with the ugly gator!"
If there was a smile on his face, it would've been replaced with a heaven-bound sigh and a slow turn of his head. Barely any thoughts were going through his head, but the sight of this woman killed them all. Her face was full of anger, and her voice and footwork just screamed revenge. Eustace turned his full attention to her, crossing his arms and taking a small inward breath.
"What the hell do you want? Huh?" It was then he noticed the still blushing boxer, sitting beneath a tree and rubbing his left cheek. An eye grew wide on Eustace's face, his tongue clicking inside his mouth. "You here for him? Can't imagine why."
She growled and stopped in her tracks, tapping her foot on the ground. "Battle me!" Eustace groaned and cast a glance to Diego. The wounds about the little gator's body were still present, but there was a fire in his eyes. Maybe it was his parents' blood getting thicker, or maybe Diego was just like that. Even if he declined, Diego would find a way to fight her. All he could do was scoff, "I was just about to leave, but I've a feeling you won't let me."
He was right. In those small few seconds, Amanda had already released her battle partner; an oversized ladybug with fist shaped hands and feet. The species of Ledyba were pretty rare in the regions he had traveled to, and only a few trainers he fought had used them. All of their tricks were known, but not by Diego. This better calm him down... I'm getting tired of his shenanigans.
Amanda said something with a pointed finger, and her Ledyba had fired off a series of small white rings from her mouth. Diego replied with a simple bark-like noise and jumped away, retaliating with a burst of water that struck the Ledyba's belly. Amanda had flinched, but her partner stayed aerial. "Ew... That's kinda gross. Er, Ledyba use Comet Punch!"
This was one of their tricks. In two blinks, the Ledyba had flown over to Diego's right side, tossing its body to land a series of four strikes. The first tapped his shoulder and the second went for his leg. Diego was cringing, and cried out as the last two struck him dead in his jaw. He tumbled away, clawing the ground to find his footing and answer with a dirty look from his eyes. Eustace broke his stance and mood, sighing in relief that his Totodile wasn't injured too bad. Of all the moves he had witnessed, Comet Punch was probably the best and worst.
He shook his head, forcing those memories away and focused on Diego. The Ledyba herself was now tumbling, after having been scratched on her elytra. She spun around, her wings flapping as Amanda called out, "Tackle!" Her reptilian opponent barked again, leaping up to collide with the Ledyba, and scratch her back down to earth. She was twitching, rolling from her backside to land on her feet and falling unconscious.
Running a hand through his hair, Eustace walked over to the defeated bug and squatted down, looking at the marks left by Diego. They weren't deep, nor were they a cause to be concerned about. He reached for his bag, gripping the potion from earlier. Amanda recalled her before he could offer to heal the bug and she stormed off to Rocky. She said something that made him flinch, and then the two of them left.
The air was getting colder, and Diego was yawning. A glare was cast in his direction, but the Totodile shrugged. "Renate would probably slap you around right now."
Diego the Totodile is getting tired.

"Renate would probably slap you around right now."
For the second time since arriving, Eustace had sat down and begun to think. In his mind were images of his former team and Medana's, all working together in a sparring match. To be honest, he lied about not knowing what her snake was. He had been everywhere as far as he could tell. From Kanto to Johto, to Hoenn and Sinnoh...
Even to islands that weren't marked down on today's maps. Hell, maybe they were but maybe those maps were burned or just never made it overseas. He'd seen a lot, but nothing ever hit him as hard as Valda and Renate.
Renate would slap Diego around with her tail, and then promptly pick him up the fleshy scruff of his neck and set him down on her back. It would've been her way of telling him to relax; of telling him to calm down and take a deep breath. That's what she did to Bardulf, Eustace's Gible and their adopted son. For someone being called a Bright Wolf, he wasn't very smart. He'd exaggerate his attacks and wear out easily. Maybe it was because of his parents, or maybe he was just aiming to impress.
"Heh. Parents..." The training grounds in his mind were becoming an ocean, as Medana brought out her Lapras. The waters began to grow and drown him, but he kept sinking as her Lapras became the cruise ship.
There was a muffled growl coming from behind him, and a giant claw touched his shoulder. Eustace broke out of the spell, turning to look over at Diego, of whom had a berry in his small grip. His master frowned and swiped it away, bringing it close to his eyes and nose. "Smells kinda fresh... Where did you find this?" With a spring to his step, Diego turned around and wandered to the house, pointing to the furthest window from the door.
A curious and somewhat bewildered expression found Eustace's face. "That place is abandoned, Diego. Something this fresh must've came from the woods. Or maybe those kids were here earlier and dropped it while exploring." The sun had now faded, and the landscape was slowly growing darker.
"It's getting late, Diego. We need to go." The Totodile stopped bouncing and frowned, walking slowly to his master's side. With the house behind them, they began walking towards the pathway entrance.

"It's getting late, Diego. We need to go." The Totodile stopped bouncing and frowned, walking slowly to his master's side. With the house behind them, they began walking towards the pathway entrance.
Only half a minute had passed when a bolt of lightning struck a few lengths away from their immediate right. The moon was ridding herself of her cloud-like clothing, but they began to conceal her with slow movements. There was no breeze, but it still remained cold. Eustace was beginning to shiver and Diego was huddling against his leg, showing signs of fear for the first time. His Pokeball was prepared, and his fingers were gripping the object tight. He paused before he could recall him, faintly hearing the sound of grinding coming from the house behind them.
Eustace turned, moving back a step as confusion poured into his brain. The closest window to them was open, and a gray metallic sphere was hovering in place. Magnemite weren't uncommon around areas of high energy, and Kaminko's House was no exception. Some deemed the human resident to be a mad genius, while others praised him as a savant. His methods were highly unusual, and his inventions questionable, but nobody knew him better than Chobin.
Eustace had never seen much of Chobin in the videos, but there wasn't any doubt that he left a lasting impression on this place. Having used robots to aid in battle, there was even less doubt that the Magnemite had lived here, feeding off that remaining energy. Or maybe it was just the location itself. Either way, there wasn't going to be a battle. With a farewell wave of his hand, he began to leave again. His legs felt lighter than air, probably due to his fight or flight response heavily armed at the latter.
He held out Diego's sphere, ready to recall him. "Go get some re-" The crack of thunder and a flash of lighting struck behind him, followed by the sound of Diego crying out. He turned around, the backside of the Magnemite showing three claw marks, small enough to look like hairs that clung from static electricity. Beneath the spherical entity was Diego, on his belly twitching and eyes half-closed.
Eustace growled and reached for the unwanted opponent, pushing him aside and kneeling down to pick up the Totodile. Its magnets and screws were whirling at an erratic speed, its own eye growing as if trying to explain the situation. He already knew what happened. Diego tried to fight and got struck down too easily.
It's all the more reason that Eustace called him back and began walking away in an angry silence.
