Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

picasso appeared battered at this point of time. the horrid combination of hot and cold attacks that had managed to come into contact with him chipping away at his health and leaving him struggling to remain upright. without having to be called upon to wield whatever remained of his power, the fighting-type released a noise akin to a snarl and lunged toward the powerful pokemon.
"hit! hitmontop!"
something about it's serenity managed to leave beth in an irritable state. her lips were curled now, revealing white teeth as she glared openly at the troublesome bunch. still, she couldn't help but feel an inkling of admiration. to be capable enough of brushing off so many attacks... surely that was a commendable trait, wasn't it?
"...!"
hitmontop dished out a revenge before falling limply upon the ground, its strength now thoroughly extinguished. the fighting-type was out of the game for now.
"tch. alright."
lifting picasso's capsule she returned him to its confines, moving to immediately grab at another.

He was out of breath. Agate Village was closer than expected, and the townsfolk were willing to offer food and supplies free of charge. They couldn't lend potions or anything of major use, but... Umbrellas and sunglasses were unexpected and perhaps totally useless for the Pokemon on the front lines.
The rainmaker was already done with, and it seemed all members of the party were still dealing with the Firestarter, now attacking with blasts of solar and electric energy. Both attacks weren't unfamiliar to Eustace. Solar Beam was faster in sunlight, and Charge Beam granted a bonus to the user if any electricity was left over.
Diego, although full of pep and barking since they left the center, would be totally wrecked by a single blast of solar energy. Arcelia was already at his side and rushed back into the fray, appearing right next to the Dusnparce with a leering hiss and a blunt smack of her blade.
In the background, the cyan man was busy setting down the worthless clothing and food somewhere safe.
Arcelia the Scyther is back in action with some close combat. Leer and Pursuit are used. Eustace just drops everything, let's be real.

taking notice to a slightly grizzled man sporting a mane of blue she took notice to the items of value he carried. it wasn't the money sorta valuable. nah, it was the sorta thing you'd want around if you or your pokemon were in desperate need of an extra boost or covering. as he set it up a fair distance away, she hurried over before the others could, gaze searching for one thing in particular.
"thanks!"
plucking a water bottle from the pile, beth removed herself from the spot where the provisions were located, eyes alight as she took a sip while returning to her original position. she made sure to take in only a little, considering the possibility of her pokemon desiring any extra liquids. her snake was summoned shortly afterward, the ekans hissing quietly as she focused upon her mistress's target.
"leer! then go for a poison sting! mind the scyther. it's one of us, got me?"
amethyst cast the highly powered pokemon a withering leer before opening its mouth to release an onslaught of poisonous stingers.

"Oh look at that, it actually got warmer."
The man stated as he held a hand out, mainly so that they would start to get a little warmer. He didn't expect for every different weather that's for sure. He put his hands in his pockets to get a light and cigarette, and decided it was about time for one of these. Although he almost bit through the thing when he saw all of the different lasers being shot out. "Oh for fuck's sake..."
It was a bloody light show now, thankfully Delta didn't have to worry about the charge beams, it was the solar beams that were the problem. So all delta could do was try avoiding those in-between his attacks. The guy could not afford to have his second pokemon faint that quick. So the little shrew continued on his rain of poison stingers and sand in an attempt to do some damage.

...and now the bloody yellow and white snake thing is speeding around. This wasn't something he was even going to comment on, as it's notion was too silly to even acknowledge. Now that light show, is a moving light-show. Fantastic.
Even delta was having a hard time trying to follow on what was going on. His head kept turning, in an attempt of trying to follow the snake's movements. All while trying to avoid the attacks, which was going well for the most part. However the little guy did get struck by a charge beam, thankfully as a ground type the sandshrew was alright for the most part. Safe for the shock of how much that would have hurt if he wasn't mostly immune.
"You alright?" Caspian wanted to make sure the little ground type could continue, and the sandshrew made a small nod confirming he was alright for the most part. Caspian let out a small sigh, this was gonna be a drag. Especially if this kept up.
here wasn't much energy left in the darkness and fire doggie, he'd wasted a lot of energy dodging and weaving, prancing and ponying, as if he were still a wild pokemon and that sort of thing mattered to keep the others from picking on him or seeing him as prey.
She didn't bother to tell him what attacks to use and he didn't bother to listen, unleashing yet another ear-piercing cry peal of Howl and then unleashing a dark, foaming ick that smelled of toxins and clouded the air.
It was as if these dunsparces didn't have any nerves, acting as if they were impervious to damage - and basically, at their level, they were - and continuing on unfettered by pain until they could not continue on.

t felt so much like this lady was an unstopppable train and so hard as if what they were doing was wrong. Why not let the lady have fun and shake up this town where everybody else had sticks up their asses? She looked around at it and knew why. These fun and games were leaving shambles in every area used as an arena. Given the damage to the place, she wouldn't feel surprised if the earth quaked and swalloed the whole weakened city whole.
"Houndour use -", she looked over to it, where it could barely manage to pant. "Oh.", she dug out her last pokemon, a numel she'd acquired in some contest that felt so easy she never understood what it was for or how she'd won, simply that she had a new pokemon. Seeing how she rarely won much, she enjoyed that.
"Time to see what you can do, Numel. Use...", she pointed her pokedex at it. "Growl and Ember. Try to burn that dunsparce, that's one of the best things we can do.", she told it.
