It was either the cave or the streams around Agate, she was always in one or the other this time of the night. Someone had to monitor Walter while he was eating or else he'd eat half the cave by morning. It had actually been a bit of a problem when she'd first gotten him. First he ate through her wall, then she found out he'd been a known pest in the area for years, constantly eating through whatever rocky terrain he could find around the town.

The townspeople actually wanted to get rid of him, the only reason Walter got to stay at this point was because she had 'captured' him (if that's what you could call that situation) and was now in charge of keeping him in check. He still acted like a pest most nights, eating everything he could get his hands on, terrorizing whoever was out and about at the same times they were, it was a common thing at this point.

"Walter that's a shoe." she smacked the pokemon atop the head with the stick she carried and he hissed but he dropped the shoe and moved along. He'd eat till he was full and then they'd go back home where the gremlin would nap in a dog bed in the corner and she would read until the night was over. It was the same as always.

She smacked him with her stick. Twice, then there was the stare down to see who would win the argument of whether or not he got to eat that stone. She'd seen it in a book and knew it was special for pokemon. She was not going to let him eat it. He tried to get it closer to his mouth and she smacked him in between the eyes.

Walter stared at her and narrowed his eyes before he finally dropped the stone at his feet and waddled away like murmuring in that way he did. Likely pissy because he didn't get to eat the shiny thing he wanted to. He even waggled his head in a sassy kind of way as he did. Isra was retrieving the stone when he found something else. Was it a milk bottle? Yes. Did he care? No. Was he going to eat? If he could get it down his gullet before Isra noticed.

"If that's spoiled and you end up sick you're sleeping in this cave." damn, not fast enough. He squinted at the wall and hissed at it because he hated meal time sometimes. As much as it was okay to have Isra around she made food a pain. He couldn't eat everything with her around.

She smacked him atop the head from behind and he put the milk bottle on her head so she could grab it and stick it in the basket she brought with her while they were hunting for rocks for him. She used it to collect snack normally but today it seemed it would have more than that.

Walter was waddling off again, throwing his arms in the air like a fed up old man while he chittered to himself about all the troubles of getting smacked with a stick.

Must have gotten lost during the day and wound up in here. That wouldn't surprise her any. It annoyed Walter though. Stupid bird was sitting on one of his favorite digging spots.

He picked it up and threw it over his shoulders. Needless to say the sleeping bird was now awake.

He was busy getting started on his digging when the bird came up behind him to peck at his head. Isra simply found a rock to sit on and watch the show. She'd learned a long time ago to simply let Walter handle battles how he wanted to.

Walter took a deep breath while the bird pecked at him before turning around and headbutting it. The pokemon went flying back and he scurrying towards it. The bird tried to peck at him again but the scratches that followed it left it whimpering on the cave floor. It wasn't very strong was it?

"That's all Walter?" the sableye huffed and went back to his digging spot. Isra shrugged and threw out a pokeball. She actually liked the looks of the bird, she'd find out if it could handle Walter tomorrow night.

It didn't look or feel like a rock so he didn't pay attention to it. Might have tried to eat it if he hadn't been so focused on finding things he actually liked. Mostly shiny gemstones. He really liked those. Some of them were enough to make him drool. No, no drooling right now that'd get in the way of digging!

Isra got up and retrieved the item he'd flung out and found it to be a pokeball. She doubted she'd ever make use of one like this but that was alright. Perhaps she could give it to one of the local trainers who liked pokemon it worked on. Or she'd keep it for the one water type she did want...

She shrugged and stuck it in her basket before she went back to sitting on the rock and waiting.

It was a weird spot to be in to be honest, well for anyone but her. She was a different story. She was special. At least that was the kind of thing they said.

He was interested in her sableye, her sableye was not interested in him. Actually Walter threw a rock at his head and hissed. Isra shrugged and feeling a little grumpy the guy released a pokemon. She looked over at Walter who glared at her. "You're the one that was rude. Have some manners and this won't be a problem." The trainer looked perplexed at them both when the sableye simply threw his arms up fed up all over again.

He used zen headbutt before the talk of battle was really finalized because he didn't have time for that. Stupid human shit. The corsala looked a little indignant but its not like Walter cared. It blew some bubbles at him. Really, bubbles? He was leering at it by now before scratching at the bubble attack, followed by many of those same scratches hitting the corsala who seemed rather appalled he had even touched it! Too bad. He was hungry.

The corsala tried to use tackle but at this point Walter was starting to get annoyed. He followed things up with a night shade, which hit well enough but what really seemed to get to the corsala was when he started picking up rocks and throwing them at it, he didn't even know rock throw he just wanted to throw something at this stupid thing until it went away. The corsala tried to use harden against the barrage but the sableye's next night shade left it notably weak and the trainer scooped up his corsala and fled from the cave.

Walter went out to the front of the cave and wiggled his ass at the fleeing trainer. This earned him a smack over the head with the walter-behave-stick. "Being rude was what started that mess to begin with." Walter hissed at her before going back to hunting for food.
