Why else would a miltank be in the cave in Agate? Normally by this time they were all back at one of the nearby farms where their keepers kept an eye on them. This one must have gotten lost or out of its pen. Luckily the Village really wasn't that big so it wouldn't be hard to take it home.

"Behave Walter, I have to take this one home." she gave the sableye a stern look, he hissed at her and she waggled her stick at him. This was a typical good bye between the two of them.

While it was a bit of a walk it was still early in the night so Isra didn't mind taking it, if nothing else it was pleasant just to be out of that cave for a little while instead of stuck in it with walter all night like she normally was. He refused to go by the streams tonight after all. The Miltank seemed t happily walk by her side through the Village and down the path to the nearby farm that housed Miltanks. Luckily she had helped them out before and knew the way to their gate. It wasn't the first time she'd returned stray pokemon to them.

She picked the lock, she'd learn that back at the caravan but she still wasn't sure why they taught her that before abandoning her. It just helped with returning the strays without waking up the people.

At this point regardless of whether or not the pokemon actually belonged to them it was now in their pin with the other Miltanks. Isra waved good bye to it and the others before making her way back to the cave with Walter.

She had to smack him with the stick again for trying to scare her out of the cave when she entered. He just stopped in his tracks and stared for a moment before moving on to the next digging spot.

She knew the pokemon as soon as she saw it. IT was a companion pokemon, usually paired with Plusle though she didn't see one anywhere. She had no interest in this pokemon, it simply wasn't one that intrigued her but she was glad to be able to say she had at least seen it now.

"You can scare it off Walter." She stated plainly as she went about going through her basket and the rocks it contained. Walter didn't seem to have noticed the poekmon approaching until she said something and had to look around for it. When he found it he grinned wide in the kind of creepy way he did. He went running at it chittering in a high pitch (as high as he could reach at least) and used night shade as soon as he was close enough.

The minun responded with a squeak and a thunder wave, Walter ducked behind a rock to void the attack though, leering at the other pokemon from behind it before using night shade again. It tried to move in to nuzzle at him but before it could he had already focused enough for a zen headbutt and the wild pokemon fainted.

While Walter went back to digging for rocks Isra picked up the little pokemon and found a safe place to let it stay and sleep until it would be feeling well enough to go back to whatever it was Minun's did in caves. She didn't know that one, though now she was a little bit curious.

While Walter was digging he found a weird disk looking thing. He tried to bite it but before he could chomp down he felt a phantom hit to the head from her stick to imply he shouldn't since it did not look like a rock, it just shined like his favorite ones did. He squinted at the wall, she was responsible for this.

He walked over to her with his arms going every which way while he chittered on about how stupid this whole situation was. Here he was, a mighty pokemon that had once terrorized everything in site and now instead he was forking over an item he would have normally eaten. He put it in her basket before walking away to go back to digging around in the cave. Isra gave him a small chuckle. "Thank you Walter."

Isra had gotten up to move around the cave when she found the second item laying around. It seemed to still be valid so she threw it in her basket too, couldn't hurt to have extra.

The poor bastard tried to net Walter thinking he was wild and could be caught. The sableye stood there for a moment squinting up at the guy and wonder when he'd move the net and when he chuckled and pulled out a pokeball instead he hissed. Walter was pretty quick to scratch through his net and left it in tatters. Stupid humans.

Walter's arm went up in the air in that fed up fashion it often did as he pointed at the pokemon the human released and chittered at them both angrily because wtf man he was trying to eat. The meditite started using bide and Walter just looked at it dead pan and hissed something akin to "do i look stupid?". He'd been around the block a bit, he was a lot older than people thought. He knew how this worked.

Walter just leered at the pokemon till it finally gave up on bide doing it any good, by then it had let down its guard real good and his scratch attack did some pretty good damage. Then again he wasn't playing around here, he wanted to get back to eating. The pokemon sat and meditated while also preparing a detect, allowing it to avoid Walter's next scratch attack. Of course this was more annoying than anything else and walter had to take a deep breath, calm his mind, let the other pokemon get close thinking they had a chance and...

That one definitely hurt, the meditite shook it off and prepared another attempt at bide but Walter wasn't worried at this point. The pokemon fainted from his sharp scratches long before it could actually use the attack on him. The trainer seemed pretty mad about it too and was about ready to get his shoe eaten by walter when Isra finally spoke up.

"You do realize you can't catch another trainer's pokemon right?" when he asked who the trainer was she pointed at herself and the man stormed off. Maybe Isra should have brought some popcorn to munch on tonight. Walter shook his fist at the fleeing trainer and went back to digging for something special.

If nothing else came of being out in the cave with Walter the fact that he often found items lost to the cave while digging made things a little bit worth while.

The first item he found was an item she recalled being useful for some sort of evolution, she'd have to check on it in her books later. For now it would go in her basket like everything else had.

The next item actually kept his attention for a little bit and he carried it over to her with great care. It was shiny and pretty and the sort of thing she might use to create some pretty necklace or some such thing if it had no other importance. She thanked him for being gentle with it and let him go back to his digging.
