After pocketing the pokeball it wasn't Aster that found the next item that had crossed his path but instead his mareep who made a cute little sound and dug at something in the ground before picking it up in it's mouth and trotting back over to where aster was and dropping the stone in the man's hand as Aster looked it over. "Good job, this is a dusk stone." he commented and gave the little mareep a pat on the head. "This is a really good find." he said grabbing a treat or two out of his bag and gently offering the treat to the mareep who gingerly took it from the other's hand. DOES HE MAKE YOU CRY? IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO? 寂しい 。。。 Aster's luck could only take him so far before it seemed that the man would run into another trainer once again. This one just gave the air that he would be worse than the ones that came before him. A slight frown came upon the white haired male's face as he noticed the other give a sly grin that said he was obviously better. Aster was sad to know that he knew exactly what kind of person this was because he was in a world of people like this before he had left his parents and had decided to travel on his own. It was probably the best thing he had done and he wouldn't regret his decision no matter what. 'Hey I want to challenge you and your... sheep. I'll show you what real pokemon are like.' he said letting out an exeggcute. If this kid thought an exeggcute was going to give him an advantage he better think better. "Real abilities are earned not bought, but i'll have to teach you that it seems. " he said softly. Aster really didn't like getting rude with others but it was best this child learn this from him than from someone who would actually mean to do him hard. "I will be going first." he said before looking to his pokemon and quickly setting up a combo that he was sure would help in the long run. "Cotton spore, then Tackle." he called calmly. He knew that electric attacks wouldn't be really strong but that didn't mean he couldn't win by other means. The kid gave a slight smirk and quickly held out his hand. "Exeggcute reflect." he called. Aster sighed cause this kid didn't know what he was doing at all. "Wrong choice.." he commented as the reflect was rendered useless against the attack as it cracked with mareeps powerful tackle and did more damage to the unsuspecting exeggcute who had been defenseless. "W-What why?" he called. "Reflect works on special attacks not physical if you want to be a trainer you should learn about your pokemon's moves before you just use them." he called but he wasn't near being finished. "Now that you're close use thunderwave then tackle!" he called. Fl00f since she was so close touched the egg pokemon sending a quick jolt through its body as it didn't hurt much it did seem to stun the pokemon which gave her a perfect opportunity to tackle hard into the side of the egg. "S-Shit, Exeggcute use Uproar." the boy commanded as the creature started to make loud sounds with mareep being so close did do a bit of damage. "Better but too late for that, now.. finish it with a good tackle!" he called once more as the mareep quickly rammed into the side of the egg type and sent it flying and ended the battle. Fl00f licked her paw and shook her fur before trotting back over to Aster without a second glance at the boy. "B-But I spent a lot of money on that pokemon!" the boy yelled. Aster sighed and bent down to pick up Fl00f and give one more glance to the boy. "I told you this kind of thing is earned not bought. If you want to get stronger train harder and actually work with your pokemon instead of relying on money. I'm sorry it had to be this way, truly I am." he said before turning and leaving the boy still confused as to what had gone wrong. Once aster was away did he run a hand through his hair and let out a quiet whine. "Ahhh, I feel like I'm a mean person now, but someone had to be mean to him so he could learn." he said pouting at his mareep who just stared back at him. DOES HE MAKE YOU CRY? IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO? 寂しい 。。。 It was normal to feel bad when you were mean to someone right? The trainer took a bit before he finally felt a bit better after having to destroy the young man's pride. Well, the case was he had done a good thing by doing something bad, at least that was what he believed. So as the man watched he couldn't help but start coughing when the smell of smoke reached him. Golden orbs were able to lock on the creature that was causing the smoke and Aster had managed to run into a koffing of all things. It was actually one of the few pokemon he wasn't really interested in. Aster hardly thought the other he had been with would really like it either. "Guess its time Fl00f." he said softly setting the mareep back down on the ground. The sheep let out a little cry and moved forward awaiting the first move of her trainer. "Thunder wave then Tackle." he called. The sheep quickly moved forward in a quick attempt to paralyze the creature before her before rushing to tackle it. A wave of gas came from the creature as it was hit with an effective smokescreen causing aster to lose sight of anything not within a few inches of his face as he coughed and quickly jogged out of the area of the smoke. "Fl00f." he called between coughs. "Thunder shock!" he called as loud as he could muster. For a few seconds there wasn't any noise before static seemed to cover the smoky area and suddenly and explosion after that. Aster quickly covered his face but as the smoke cleared it was fl00f standing on the body of the koffing in victory. "F-Fl00f you shouldn't do that!" he called quickly scooping up the pokemon in his arms and frowning at the poor koffing. "S-Sorry buddy, maybe next time?" he said with a nervous laugh before booking it out of there. DOES HE MAKE YOU CRY? DOES HE KNOW THE WAY YOU FEEL? LOVE IS ALL AROUND YOU, YOUR UNIVERSE IF FULL. Moving silently about the area he knew that it would probably get late soon. He probably had about an hour left before it got dark and he would have to head back to agate to meet a sleeping princess who would be waking very very soon. That meant they had to get as much done as possible. It also happened that as he was looking around for something else that was interesting a tm had crossed his path as he picked it up and looked it over. Hmm.. scald, it wasn't something he could use at the moment, but maybe it would be useful later. Putting it in his bad the white haired male continued on his search of the area around the lab. A young boy ignoring and running away from his mother. Part of him remembered how it was trying to get away from his own family, but he was a bit older than this young lad as the man managed to get a hold on the young lad. "Hey now, careful or you might get hurt. Also your mother is calling shouldn't you head back?" he asked with a smile. The kid quickly jerked his arm away and glared at Aster "shouldn't you be cleaning your dentures or doing old man things instead of worrying about me?" he huffed. Aster spazed a little upset about being called old. "I-I'm not old." he whined a little. The kid glared and suddenly released a pokemon. "Come on, I'll show you I can even beat old guys like you." he said. Aster felt like he had been stabbed through the chest multiple times. "Alright, but if I win you go back to your mother.. a-and stop calling me old!" he said motioning fl00f forward. "Alright, thunder wave then thundershock!" he called as fl00f instantly jumped into battle to defend her trainer's honor. The kid huffed and quickly grinned. "Thats nothing! I'll blow you away. Whirlwind!" he called. Aster seemed hardly phased as fl00f stood her ground and the attacks hit hard paralyzing then giving the boys pokemon a good shock. "Hey you were supposed to blow away!" he said obviously it was aster's fault for cheating. Aster sighed a bit. "I don't have any other pokemon so whirlwind doesn't work on me and it only makes wild pokemon run away." he said. "You should really learn your own pokemon's moves." he frowned some hoping to teach the other. The kid only got more aggravated. "I'll show you! Arm thrust!" he called as makuhita slowly moved thanks to paralyze to attack. "Hold out for a second." he called as fl00f stood her ground and the attack landed but only skidded the side of her body but this was exactly what they wanted, the pokemon was close. "Thundershock." he called as fl00f let out a very powerful attack with the pokemon so close it did a lot of damage which caused the pokemon to fall over. "You should be more careful with your pokemon now, go back to your mother." he said calmly. The boy puffed up be recalled his pokemon as a promise was a promise. "Fine I guess you're not half bad. " he said before turning and heading back. Still fl00f was looking tired so Aster leaned down and gave the pokemon a potion to help with that.
