to most people, on the outside yumiko is the perfect lady. she acts, speaks, eats, dresses, anything you can think of as if she is a princess and by golly that is exactly what she is. her parents raised her to be perfect in every way and to never show weakness. that has followed her even into her days as a medic. she shows respect to those around her, but never lowers her head or admits that she is wrong: which makes it really hard to get an apology from her.

on the inside however, she is a lonely girl and wants attention more than she admits. which is why she has a habit of drawing attention to herself since she is no longer a model. in her heart she really does like helping people which is why she chose to become a medic instead of anything else after her career was ruined. she has a softer side to her that generally comes out during her job where she doesn't have to be so perfect.

from her perfectionist side, she can also be a little bit harsh to make sure things are done right. this also happens to take her forever to get ready because she can't leave her home without looking perfect no matter what she is doing. she also has a habit of commenting on other people's appearance if it doesn't look good enough to her.

Yuki grew up in a very rich family in the Sinoh, and from a young age it was apparent that this child was to be the poster child for the family. It came at no surprise that she was quickly trust into studies and duties of a young lady. Elegant parties and meetings and socialites was the world that she lived in and once she became old enough she became a model to only further increase the fame of the family. With Yuki as the poster child her family grew into the spotlight and was invited to more social events and it almost became a requirement.

Yuki had become accustomed to this life but it was soon to change as during her seventeenth year, she had an accident and it resulted in a scar down her face ruining her modeling career. Devastated that their poster child was now what they deemed "ugly" the family quickly backtracked and disowned the child to try and keep their high status. It was the last time she saw her family as she took what she could and the money she had and fled. Originally staying in Hoenn for a bit she continued to move around becoming a breeder to sustain herself.

Now she is currently in Orre to hide from the life that she doesn't want to remember.
