Endric yawned, something about the cavernous terrain of the underground made him drowsy. He wasn't sure what it was about it, there were plenty of lights in the area but he couldn't help getting a bit tired. He hoped walking around with his pokemon would be a bit of a wake up call, he'd been so busy with plans and the like he hadn't managed to work out most of his team in awhile. He needed it. [break][break] Darkroot waddled at his side, looking about as purposeful as the spikey ball ever could. Endric hoped to get her leveled up quick enough that she'd evolve soon, he prefered the idea of having cacnea on his team than was seemed like a walking herdier toy.

She commented on his yawning at that perhaps a battle would wake him up. Endric shrugged, all he cared about at the moment was that his pokemon got decent training, since his most recent self promotion he needed to keep his team strong if he was going to have any chance of keeping the role. Well for as long as he wanted it that is. [break][break] Endric was mildly surprised by her pokemon choice, it was not what he expected from someone like her but fine, whatever it was his pokemon would not be losing too. The cacnea made a little show of throwing her arms in the air and wiggling them and what might have been a more menacing gesture had she not been quite so round. [break][break] While it was busy focusing its energy she was busy using poison sting on it, sadly it could have been more effective than it was. Endric tsked as the pokemon charged in to peck at the cactus with his horn, she took the chance to seed it with leech seed while t was close, following with absorb to at least weight weariness in her favor. It returned with a double kick and her roundness was put to good use, rolling out of the way of its second attack before smacking the creature with her spiked arms. The leech seed helped wear it down further as she charged in to double kick again, now getting the hang of her rolling the cacnea avoided the attacks and let her absorb and leech seed attacks do their thing, eventually wearing down the pokemon while keeping her from getting too exhausted by the battle. The pokemon made one last poison sting attack before falling to the cactus' absorb. [break][break] Endric did not feel anymore awake as he walked away as he did before the battle started and was already yawning again.

Endric didn't even comment about the rustling, Darkroot was already bouncing towards it all full of gusto and ready to get the game started. While the wild pokemon was busy she shot a couple poison stings at its butt and laughed at it when it cried out, startled. Endric was slowly following behind her, not terribly worried about it. [break][break] The pokemon turned and lashed out with some furious swipes but Root just rolled away with a cackle before rolling onto her feet and shooting a couple of poison stings at it. The pokemon hissed before using night shade and she retaliated by absorbing its energy and beating at it with her arms like the were clubs. The pokemon tried to astonish her while she was so close but she just laughed at it and kept beating it with her arms before finishing it off with one last shot of poison stings. [break][break] "Let's keep going."[/g] Endric said with a yawn, not even looking at the fainted pokemon. He had no interest in sableyes.

The boy came from around a corner and his declaration caused Endric to pause a moment before he busted up laughing at him. Oh that was rich wasn't it? Well not as rich as Endric was. The kid apparently wanted to be taken seriously so he released a pokemon and Endric gestured for Darkroot to go have fun. [Break][break] The cacnea rolled upto the solrock and unleashed a barrage of poisonous stingers on it, the rock seemed unphased for the mos part, picking up a few rocks to throw at darkroot, she rolled around again to dodge the attacks, using absorb as she went to recoop the rocks that did hit her. The solrock seem annoyed, choosing to try a fire spin in the cacnea's direction, she chose to show off a bit. She ran for a wall and jumped aside at the last second, watxhing the big fiery ball slam into it before unleashing another barrage of poisonous stings. Either the stingers or their poison or the wall seemed to do the pokemon in, the boy returned it to its wall and made a run for it. [Break][break] Darkroot sent a few poison stings after the boy to drive the point home before going back to her jolly little walk with Endric.
