Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

It was about time Maiya got calcifer off his lazy chickeny ass and working on getting stronger. He had a slew of complaints the entire way of course and was actually still complaining as the made their way down the canyon. Maiya ignored him and paid more attention to whether or not the egg in her pouch was going to smack a rock. She wasn't interested in losing the mareep. [break][break] At one point she had to start throwing rocks at calcifer to make him get his fat ass out of the way. She hoped he got a little bit out of this walk or else she was going to be too annoyed for words dealing with him. There was a reeason he wasn't a favored part fot he team... yet. She adored blazikens though and couldn't wait for him to evolve. She hoped his attitude would be better by that point too.

Calcifer, being as he was, started harrassing passerby in the hopes someone would feed him when Maiya wouldn't. This of course did not go in his favor. Rather a pair he started to bug decided to release their pokemon for battle. [Break][break] Calcifer's shoulders drooped and he gave our what one migjt call a long dramatic chicken sigh. This was so beyond him. Maiya rolled her eyes. "You made the mess, you clean it up." [Break][break] The little lotad was growling at him so he squaked at it. It kept growling, he lits its darling little lilypad head on fire and the little thing started crying, releasing a slow moving mist around them as it did. Cal wasn' sure what to do after that, waiting for the mist to pass he spent the time focusing his energy, waiting for an opening. The other pokemon moved in to attack and he met it with a double kick, bot kicks hit hard and the little pokemon faintes. [Break][break] "Now move your ass." Maiya and Calcifer both began their walk around the canyon again.

apparently he saw her chicken and thought it was time to show off. Maiya had to chuckle at that, she knew how hitmonchans worked all too well. "Have fun Cal, go for the legs." [Break][break] Maiya didn't know what the pokemon said to each other but calcifer was definitely ready for a face off because of it. He focused his energy and waited for it to come in for one of its rock hard punches and ducked low, kicking at the pokemon's legs. One of its knees buckled but it stragjtened itself. The pokemon wound up and came in for another attack, only to find the same result with the kicks ti its legs. The pokemon counter the move but cal jumped right back in, going for the legs. This time when they buckled they didnt straighten and the pokemon was returned to its ball. [Break][break] The guy seemed impressed but Maiya was too busy checking on her egg to give a damn.

Maiya left cal to his own devices while she tended ti the mareep egg which was starting to wiggle a bit. She was certain it'd hatch soon enough. By the time she returned to Calcifer hevd wandered off and was eating a stone. [Break][break] Taking the stone she pocketed it once noticing ut was a water stone. She recalled something about them being used for glaceons around here... she liked ice better than water anyway. [Break][break] As she was pocketing it cal threw something else at her, she threw a rock back and pocketed the pokeball.

The moment he spotted the charmander Calcifer tried to get into Maiya's bag so he could pull out a pokeball and force one of the others to battle instead of him and he could be lazy. And eat. He was really hungry again since that stone hadn't been edible. [break][break] Maiya swatted him away and pointed at the stupid lizard. She wasn't taking this one home she he could get some training out of it whether he liked it or not. "If you want dinner." [break][break] Oh the food comment got him going, focusing his energy he stormed up to the lizard and started kicking. It tried to use ember on him to scare him off but fire wasn't much of a worry to him. Calcifer continued kicking at it and the pokemon flailed abou, scratching at him, he scratched back, it released a fit of draconic rage and he ran behind a rock like the scared chicken he was before setting it on fire from afar. when it tried to get closer he ducked around the rock and kicked at it again. [break][break] The crying charmander started waddling off and Maiya returned her chicken to his ball. He'd get his food back at the room after she dealt with the mareep egg
