Pokemon on mdh are divided into 3 specialty ranks, these ranks denote things such as rarity and difficulty to acquire and what their breeding frequency is. Generally speaking pokemon do not jump ranks and will stay in the same one for as long as the site is running. The only exception to this is if we see any pokemon that have become over populated on site they may be raised a rank to help decrease their numbers a bit before returning to their normal ranks.
