Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Hello mod! Thank you for taking my thread. This character is not very bright.
K
aminko's House had been a shack in her days of being a young lady. She remembered all the young men she had kissed in this derelict house and in which rooms various gropings and playful advances had been made, returned, or rejected. When she had been that young girl, each day was disjoined from the next, each thing just another occupant of time and attention. But as an old woman, she could see the red lines of thread that each event had triggered, supported, changed, and how each thing affected where she was today, who she was, and what she had done.
The front porch steps creaked in the agony of her weight as she climbed them. She expected a similarly noisy door handle, but there wasn't a squeak, and it surprised her more that this old noisy house would be silent for once. The door opened widely as she twisted, revealing the dusty coverings, footprints, and grime of what had once been a very lavish mansion.
"Oh yeah, I'd better have a pokemon ready to battle...", Mother Hubbard muttered to herself, as she reached into her granny purse, found a pokeball, and released its contents after a few minutes of fumbling on the button. Wurmple popped out, and she shuddered.
"Disgusting old bug. Your'e still ugly, you know. This is what you get for eating my trees. Now you get to fight ghosts instead of me.", she crossed her arms disagreeably as she spoke to her pokemon. She hated insects. She hated insects that ate her trees. And she hated Wurmple.
he old woman took her first step inside, crossing the door's threshold and into the hallway that smelled of dust and mold. Her nose tingled, and she covered her mouth as she sneezed.
The noise was more than enough to get the attention of a man who had been standing in a reading room down the hallway. He leaned his back to peer out the doorway, the flipping of his pokemon's bat wings barely visible. "You!", he pointed his finger and a purple bat screetched loudly enough to make her head hurt.
The wurmple at her feet looked surprised and failed to move. The zubat dove in with its fangs. Wurmple was hit, but hardly phased. The caterpillar used her head as if trying to headbutt the bat, having to leap into mid-air to do so.
"We can't take any more of that! You confuse it, Zubat, then kill it! It's just a little bug, and it's weaker than you!", the man encouraged his bat.
Mother Hubbard noticed his bug net and dark sunglasses. He was certainly eccentric. "Go, bug!", she chanted. She wasn't confident her caterpillar was even capable of winning against something that flew and naturally ate bugs, anyways. They each cheered on their pokemon.

The Zubat crumpled to the ground, its chest heaving with maximum difficulties for breaths.
"Go bug! We won, bug! We won, bug!", she started to chant, exuberated with the adrenaline of winning against this trainer. He returned his pokemon and quietly left.
The Wurmple danced excitedly in return, touching her leg with its first pair of feet, perhaps as if to smell. Mother Hubbard continued to chant until she noticed it, and her leg flailed out automatically on its own, bunting the bug off of her. Only, it wasn't a caterpillar anymore, but a cocoon.
"Fastest cocoon building I've ever seen. You may have won, bug, but you're still disgusting and creepy because you are an icky sticky bug. Only, now you're stickier.", she said aloud, gravely.
Tl;dr
Wurmple won, and evolved to Silcoon (evolves at lvl 7).
other Hubbard grimmaced at her new sticky cotton ball of a pokemon. "You look like a used q-tip.", she told it, continuing on to make a new disgusted face. She hated bugs.
She pondered following where the man had been and entering the dust-breeding library, but caught sight of a smaller door before she made her decision. It had a textured window, enough to see a bit of natural light and vibrant green - probably leading outdoors. "I don't want to go the way that snob went, we might turn into him...", she muttered to herself, and padded across the crusty, creeky floorboards, and opened the door. An expanse of garden lay before her, not at all seemingly creepy, except how overgrown and abandonded it was.
"Mmmmm!", she heard.
"Eh, what's that, bug?", she turned around to look at her cocoon pokemon, but its mostly expressiveless eyes were expressive enough to covey it didn't know what she was on about.
"MMMMMM!!", the sound came again.
She looked around her, but didn't see anything but a faded garden statue of blue and green. Suddenly, a stream of water hit her in the face.
"ACK!", she sputtered, wiping away the water. "Now I'm all wet! What, did you think I brought a drying machine with me in my purse just because I'm an old lady! ", she complained. But she still couldn't see the pokemon she faught.
The cocoon pokemon dutifully made its way to the front, and out came two water pokemon from the scenery. One was the very same green and blue pokemon she'd mistaken for a statue, and the other was a nearly identical blue one that hid behind it.
Mother Hubbard dug in her purse and produced her other pokeball. She pressed the button. Nothing happened. It was an empty pokeball. She sighed and withdrew the right pokeball and repeated the process, this time successfully drawing out her other bug for the two on two battle.

"Oh dear. I must have taken a wrong turn, these pokemon are much too difficult for my bugs. We've been through several rounds of battle and that Lotad is still as healthy as when we started. And that Poliwag's water gun is chipping away health like a jack hammer. I have to do something or I won't make it."

hen she threw her two pokeballs, first at the lotad and then at the poliwag, they both sucked up the pokemon, wiggled, and spat them back out among shards of the exploded pokemon capsule. Her two bug pokemon looked exhausted, beat up, and almost envious. Apparently, the two wild pokemon really didn't want to become human pets, because they both skiddadled.
Mother Hubbard caught a gleam where they had been standing and went to pick up a lovely, shiny green stone. She put it in her purse.
There was a bench nearby, she sat and dangled her legs, watching a bubbling fountain and enjoying her breather. They must have had been attracted to the garden fountain, since they were both water types. Her two bugs rested as she did, drank from the fountain, and then preyed on the leaves of the overgrown greenery. Were it anyone's garden in particular, she might have chided them, but it was an old abandonded house, they'd faught for her, and ugly pokemon needed to eat, too.
ust as Mother Hubbard felt rested enough to begin to pine for a nap, the sounds of a child reached her ears, and her two pokemon straightened up into alarmed positions.
She didn't have to search for long, as the child giggled and skipped, a blue pokemon trailing behind him above air. Another water pokemon.
"LETS BATTLE!", his voice was helium high and full of as much exuberance and energy as an entire pot of coffee.
"Ugh, kid, I was just about to take a na-"
"SMOKESCREEN, Mr.Bubbles!", the kid dramatically pointed in her general direction and ordered his pokemon.
The sea horse spat out an inky black cloud that fogged the garden and makeshift battle-ground.
"My name's Daniel and Mr. Bubbles and I are gonna beat you and take all of your money so we can afford the new video game!"
"Uhhh-"
"Watergun, Bubbles!", the kid continued to shout.
Mother Hubbard wiggled her pinky in her ear, trying to soothe away the pain of the volume and pitch of this walking helium despenser. The kid was even full of hot air. Heh heh heh.
"Well, whatever, kid.", Mother Hubbard declined to verbally combat the nauseatingly high-pitched voice this runny-nose posessed. She returned her nincada to its pokeball and let silcoon direct itself in battle.
