We should not be swimming through curses to get to the actual content. We also allow harsh language to a certain degree as well, anything that can fall within the PB TOS will be allowed on site just again, don't abuse this fact.

- faceclaims We are an animange site, we expect the bulk of face claims to be from anime or manga material. We will allow video game characters on site as well so long as you use anime/manga styled art for them instead of CG animation.

In the event that you have self done art in the above mentioned style and can give ample proof it is your own art and not another's you may also use this on site. Please contact an admin (or two to make sure someone sees it soon enough) while you are making your profile so we can give you a go-ahead before your accepted. - limits At this point in time MDH does not have any set character limits or requirements on making new characters. You will be expected to stay active with all characters that you make though and if we feel you are spending too much time making characters and not enough actually doing something with them you will be asked to slowdown.
- ACCOUNTS we are a one character per account site meaning that each character will be played separately on different accounts. While you can make your account name whatever you like (within reason) you will be expected to change your display name to your character name in the FIRST LAST format

- all pokemon information should be taken from generation 6, specifically the X/Y games, please do not use ORAS for pokemon on MDH
- HIDDEN ABILITIES are not allowed on the site.
- up to gen 3 avilable generation 4+ will be released to the site over time but only gens 1-3 are considered native to the region, they are also the only gens you may choose a starting pokemon from.
- starting pokemon may be any level between 1-10. they may be any pokemon from gen 1-3. they must be the basic evolution for the line, but not a baby pokemon. They may also not be anything from tier 2 or 3 on out rarity list (most notably, no fairy or dragon types, dup types included.)
- shinies are obtainable on site but you may not start with one.

Don't do any of them, unless you have been given permission to do so by your thread partner. End of story, this one isn't really debatable as all three of these can get old very quickly and ruin the fun of a thread.
- god-modding is as its name implies, when your character more or less goes into 'god mode'. most often seen in battle sequences, this is when a character never takes a hit, never misses, always gets a crit hit but never gets tired either, an invincible and godlike character.
- power playing is the act of deciding what another's character does for them or otherwise controlling a character that is not your's in order to force a certain reaction without being given permission by the other player to do so.
- metagaming is the act of your character knowing something you know from out of character discussion that they should not know in character. ex: endless tells nevermore that maiya has a horrible fear of water, suddenly her character archer knows to throw maiya in a fountain to scare her when nothing has happened ICly to tell him that she is afraid of water.

MDH miniprofiles currently contain two imagines, a 100x100 icon and a larger 300x275 image for the hover, if you are having difficulty making these things or finding them on your own let someone know and get someone who can help you out.

Please avoid large gifs in signatures and around the board, some people are still on older devices that have difficulty with gifs especially if they need to load several large ones in one sitting.
