[attr="class","mdhopen"]The world of MDH has been suspended in a state of peace for many years, no not years, decades. The former terrors of the teams ravaging each region are long gone, no one has seen war for ages and many things seem like so distant a memory they can't have possibly been real. This isn't just in Orre where Cipher once threatened what little balance it had, this is the same for every region. The teams that once threatened to turn everything on its head in every region is nothing more than a distant memory better known in history books.

This is not to say they are gone entirely mind you, but none of them work in the capacity they once did. They are mere remnants of what they once were. Team Rocket is now just a name for a group of street thugs that harass the citizens, aqua and magma are mere extremists that fight to keep their preferred of nature ahead of the other. Some dream of giving them back their glory, the fear their names once stuck in hearts of everyone, but their numbers are dwindling. Their ambitions cannot be reached, they are nothing like what they once were.

While crime is not gone entirely it is at an all time low and only a handful of well established organizations still have any footing in any of the regions. Anything that rises too high is quickly found and squashed by the authorities which have become well established enough to outnumber anything that might threaten the peace of the regions. Even Orre, once known for its lawlessness has begun to move towards a more peaceful state than it has ever been in. However, it is not under the same protection as the other regions, allowing its lawless parties to have far greater standing than any other region.

CipherEX has begun to collect these remnants, gathering the few lawless that are left together under a single chain of command in the hopes of building a team large enough to begin their rise to infamy once again. This is where our story starts, this is where things begin.
