[attr="class","mdhopen"]Here on My darkest hour pokemon are divided up into 3 different rarity tiers which will influence certain things around the site such as availability, breeding cooldowns and may be of importance for certain events. The highest rarity tier is 3 while the lowest is one, which is the largest group. Below you will find a more extensive list of what belongs in each tier.
As a note, once these pokemon have been obtained by members of the breeding class said breeders will be able to breed most of them, allowing them to be obtained from breeders on top of the ways listed below.

[attr="class","mdhtextbod"]This tier holds a few pokemon that stand out from the general pokebase. These pokemon are either special in some manner, often times ones that are not legendaries but are only acquired through special events in the games, fossil pokemon who will be a little more difficult to get your hands on than normal pokemon, any pokemon containing the Fairy or Dragon typing (including both strictly fairy/dragon and duo typed fairy/dragon) or pokemon who sit in the baby tier of evolution.
Strictly Fairy and Dragon typed pokemon will only be recieved via events or when randomized using the random pokemon tickets. Duotyped fairy and dragon pokemon will have a rare chance to be rolled for a swarm even alongside baby pokemon. Fossil pokemon will be achieved through events.

[attr="class","mdhsub2"]Tier 1
[attr="class","mdhtextbod"]If a pokemon is not named in either of the tiers above this it is considered a part of the lowest rarity tier and will be the easiest to come across and acquire. These are the pokemon you may start your journey with, will have the potential to see in your mod threads and will be likely to come up in swarm events. If you are unsure about a pokemon and think it should be in a higher tier but do not see it in either feel free to pm a staff member, ask in the cbox (should a staff member be on) or make a thread in the questions board.
