He managed for nearly a year on his own before going crawling back to his parents with his tail between his legs. Their solution was to gift him with the finest purebred Eevee and ship him off to the distant Orre. It wasn't a bad solution, really, but he was hardly going to go along and be a stereotypical trainer. Most of them barely became successful, let alone made any money! Breeding was easier, and a steady source of income, so that's what he would do. And if he happened across a few adventures on the way, well, that was just a bonus.
