Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? Maiya was raised in a neglectful home to say the least, traded off as part of paying a dept guaranteed the girl would end up stuck in a life of crime. She honestly can't remember a day when she wasn't doing everything in her power to simply survive, and that's ultimately what Maiya is, a survivor. She's making it through the days as best she can in anyway she can, though that often means criminal activity as that's what she knows best.
Maiya is, however, at a pivotal point in her life and herself, she currently has a chance to change her ways and is actively trying to do so. While she struggles with it, and especially with positive emotional expression she's doing the best she can to change this. With time, perhaps she will.

When it comes to plots Maiya is fairly open as she'll be doing odd jobs for pay and is looking around for a sculpture made by an old artist of Orre for a client from outside of the region. Her asking around about it is a welcome prompt for things! She also has a little sister she hasn't seen since she was 13 if you wanna ask about that.
Isra is widely regarded as an oddity by those that know her, or at least of her. She was abandoned in Agate due to her odd allergy to the sun. While it can be maintained and kept under control nowadays it is simply easiest for her to live by night rather than the daylight hours like most. However due to the desert terrain this means she cannot go far from Agate because of how cold it is over night. It has also led to her having a very different view of the would and she has wound up very eccentric in the eyes of most who come across her.
The woman is the kind to ignore social norms and expectations, she simply handles things how she sees fit regardless of the approval of others. She can be reasonable and easy to get along with, friendly even so long as you do not give her reason to act otherwise. In return she will not hesitate to give you hell and back if you give her reason to, this leaves the potential for relationship with her wide open to those who are willing to tolerate her inability to be out in the sun.

Isra is romantically tied to Aster and should be familiar with most other resident of Agate, if only because she is sort of their 'weird neighbor'.

Isra plots will mostly be centered around Agate due to her unique condition preventing her from traveling too far into the more desert like terrain of the region. They are also almost exclusively likely to happen at night, late evening or very early morning.

Endric sees everything in the world as one big game, it's sort of a coping mechanism to deal with his family. The Ruhan's are an upper class family from Sinnoh with significant old money and influence. He was bred and groomed you could say, to play the game well. He puts on a mask of a kind and friendly gentleman so well only a rare few see through it, though its not the only face he's seen with. Endric puts on many faces in order to play the roles he needs to in order to win. Winning usually entails him getting something he wants or achieving some form of entertainment at another's expense.
Underneath this well crafted facade is a man who cares little for anyone beyond himself and his roselia. He deems himself above everyone and every thing, even the mighty Arceus would be laughed at and tossed aside as an ugly deity if he were to meet it one day. It is for that reason that after joining Cipher he is making plans and moving forward with taking over the organization, none will be above him. Those who might one day be his admins are likely to only ones who will see this less than personable side of him though as he keeps it under wraps to encourage people to follow his lead, believing he's a good leader rather than someone that would leave them on the volcanoes edge if they ever outlived their usefulness.

Endric isn't sure about Archer but he's loyal to him, he knows Alastair but under a false persona (more so than usual), the only thing he despises about Caspien is his sheer laziness.
His best friend is Ivalice his Roselia, his other pokemon are just kind of there.

All Ciphers, since Endric's eventual goal is to reach Boss levels he wants to try and be familiar with as many of the people that he believes will eventually be working under him as possible so he knows who to go to for what and who will be avoided at all costs. He also likes to keep tabs on anyone who might go against him and be a threat to his goals so he can eliminate competition as quickly as possible.
Others are welcome to plot with him of course, but since he's Cipher and set to climb a lot of his efforts will be devoted to Cipher plots.

I had this idea, see, and maybe it would work if you wanted? Basae and Endric are two people who come from very different backgrounds. I know I kept it sort of vague in Basae's profile, but he is a street rat who never had much and Endric is from old money sitting on the hill. These two people who should have nothing in common are very similar in a lot of ways, though. They're both users, getting what they can from others until nothing is left. They're also both very fake people, in different ways, but still very false and use it to get there way. Being so similar, being that since they're both Ciper they would have to speak at some point, this whole idea stems from the saying 'it takes a thief to catch a thief.'
I think it would be interesting if Basea and Endric saw through each other's ruses right away. As someone who is very fake themselves, they should be able to tell when someone is trying to pull the wool over their eyes. For better or worse, it would be interesting to have these two at odds, or at least not know what to do with one another. Here is someone who can see through their lies and acts and they can't trick, and that either poses a challenge or a threat. I can't predict how Endric would act, but I know that Basae wouldn't like it. He would view Endric with distrust and hostility. Of course, this could also work out in some way that they benefit from each other in the long run. I'll leave how you want it to end up, or how you think it would end up, to you.

anyway, on to important things. I like this idea, Endric is actually used to people seeing through his ruse and seeing through the ruses of others but normally in a very different setting. The best way to put it is he's more used to this happening on a more political type of field where everyone knows everyone is a filthy liar but they play pretend like the don't so being met with distrust wouldn't surprise him but the hostility would be somewhat new for him. To be honest I could see him seeing Basae as a bit of a play thing even if he didn't obey his ploys because he could still play with his more hostile reactions. That and he'd want to get a feel for how good Basae is because even if he didn't trust him 100% he could be useful one day for something which is always good.
In the long run the main thing he would want to be certain of is what Basae's goals within Cipher are, mostly to know if he's competition he needs to deal with or someone who would be incapable of staying loyal once he took over that he might need to consider purging from their ranks one day. Regardless of this I think they'd make for an interesting interaction since they'd have a lot to play off each other and would love to see how things end up going ICly ewe
I know we both talked on Skype about them but I just wanted to post something in here. Since they're both Cipher, they'd have to meet eventually. Given Rowena's personality, they'd probably become enemies, or at the least in the future maybe, some form of rival. When Rowena learned that Endric wanted to become the Boss she'd probably try to become the boss before him just for the pure fact that she'd find it amusing to see his frustration when he failed. She'd really enjoy doing her best to foil whatever little plots and plans he came up with and make his life a living hell, or at the very least tease him so badly by ruining things just to piss him off and frustrate him. [break][break] Given Endric's personality however, Rowena might start to begrudgingly soften up to him, even if she would hate to admit it, and in the end may even just secretly try to help him become the boss by screwing over his enemies since she doesn't really want it. She might even develop a secret crush. [break][break] Either way I think they could form an interesting relationship to enjoy throughout threads.
Oh how i have wanted this. but yes, we talked a little on skype and they'll definitely be on each others list in some way. He'll be keeping a close eye on her while he climbs the ranks since she could be trouble. He won't consider her a major threat or even let on he's got an eye on her but he won't be ignoring her either. She'd be getting regular check ins from him to make sure she's not doing anything he needs to worry about but I think he'll ultimately be less inclined towards wanting her out of cipher than he might others.
As for that secret crush that'd not only be cute but he'd be totally oblivious :'D He'd never really notice and just assume everything more gameplay like it normally is.

Yes, yes, hue hue hue. A secret crush. She would so stubbornly deny it if it ever came up, not that she would have to if he's totally oblivious. But she would if it somehow did. Except she might get so annoyed at him not noticing it and just snap on him one day and call him an oblivious moron and storm off in a fit. But it could totally be cute and fun to do and play around with -nods- wouldn't have to go anywhere relationship wise though i'm never against it.[break][break]
Rowena would totally not mind him not thinking of her as a major threat, she doesn't mind being off that kind of radar. It gives her more wiggle room if she decides to do anything. They’re both around the same age and from the same hometown. If you’d be interested in developing a backstroy, I’d be up for that (even if it’s something small like they recognize each other). If her little sister is still in Fortree, I’m sure Lace would have run into her at some point.
Otherwise, I think they’d make an interesting friendship duo. Both of them run odd jobs, but I’d imagine Maiya is much better at it because she doesn’t get distracted by odd things. If you’re interested, I could definitely see Lace helping her overcome that survival instinct and push her a little bit to just stop and enjoy life.
I wouldn't have a problem with them possibly knowing each other a bit from back at hoenn though unless they happened to share the same extracurricular activities it would have probably been nothing more than in passing. Other than school, vocal coaching and gymnastics Maiya wasn't allowed to leave her home and when she did it was with very strict supervision and she wasn't supposed to talk to other people or kids. She had very limited time with outside world before leaving hoenn at 13.
Other than that there's only one other option if you're interested, when she was younger a friend of her mom's used to bring their kid over and Maiya would be allowed to play with them. They were kinda one of the few good things about her childhood but they wouldn't have seen each other since she was 13 either and probably wouldn't recognize her at first since she's changed significantly over the years. Other than that I could certainly see her and Lace being friends to some degree, Maiya would probably hesitate to call it such for a long while since she's trying not to get attached to people but she'd relent at some point. Especially if she kept bumping into her over and over doing odd jobs and what have you
Lace also sings, so I could imagine that they saw each other in voice coaching sometime or had their appointments before/after one another. OR I would totally be up for the other option if you want!!
