Olvia's the type of person who doesn't talk unless she needs to and rarely ever wants to. Not one to make promises easily without fingers crossed and in the end is only ever really in it for herself. Years of solitude from her peers has left her in a personal comfort bubble that irks her when disturbed. In spite of this however, she does yearn for some form of friendship beyond that of her pokemon; if only to test the waters. Though young she carries herself as a person with knowledge beyond her years, which with her intelligence is true to some extent. Often times she tends to be pessimistic about certain scenarios she feels are hopeless and can be too stubborn to think otherwise but shows a surprising amount of determination when the time calls. Essentially suave and hard-headed she's blunt to a fault and finds little issue in being insultingly honest On a lighter note she enjoys traveling and seeing new sights, interested in the history of areas as opposed to how aesthetically pleasing they are. Her soft spot for pokemon and children brings out her softer side although she's a firm believer in a good dose of tough love rather than coddling.

Olvia had always been an intelligent girl. A woman of high of breeding as she was of social standing. Her parents spared no expense in ensuring their daughter achieved all she could and more in her life to better the family's image as a whole. Did she enjoy it? No. Did she detest it? No again. Truthfully, Olvia felt little toward the expectations placed on her, she never found it difficult to succeed in the challenges she was faced with; becoming more monotonous and uncaring toward them as a whole. Academics didn't bring about the same excitement pokemon did. Schooling was a breeze and in her free time she began delving further into the research of the creatures that inhabited the planet. Her parents weren't all too thrilled with the interest she was taking but had little to use against her as rebuttal since she was meeting all their requirements.

At the time, Olvia had considered her hobby as nothing more than a passing fancy. Something to keep her occupied between lessons. Interactions between her peer were more of a formality between families than any substantial friendship which left her life vacant of such relationships bar the seldom few she held as a very small child. The longest lasting being with her seviper. Researching as a career became more of a reality when the topic of shadow pokemon began to arise in her studies, ominous and unnatural ideas said to have once been true. Aside from being written off as nothing more than myth it was enough of a motivator for her to venture to the Orre region to feed her curiosity.
