Come with me. Into mystery. I'll show you this town's history. | |
Olvia was a little ashamed to admit that despite all her reading she knew very little about the Orre region as a whole. Compared with the other high profile regions of the world it fell short of their infamy. in fact, if she hadn't been required to memorize the regions of the world she too would have been sure to dismiss it. After all, so far it proved to be little else than a desert wasteland with the exception of greenery toward the west. "Won't do myself any good complaining." she mused to herself. "It was my decision to come here in the first place." Independent living was nothing new after all. By her side the large serpent's forked tongue tasted the air. The walk through the deadened forest didn't deter the duo in the least. What most found eerie and unsettling gave Olvia a guilty thrill. Even so, she found this area sorely lacking the vibe she so often felt in the old, decrepit chateaus and mansions dappled around her home. "Hssss..." Her attentions turned toward her seviper, the snake purposely pulling her from wandering thoughts. "It's nothing." A brief but solid reply was enough to sate the pokemon. His scaled form appeared to hover over the forest floor with the amount of ease showed. It was a sure thing that Olvia didn't need to worry about any unpleasant surprises so long as he was calm. The seviper had a keen sense for the presence of others. Tugging on a strand of hair she begrudgingly dislodged a wayward leaf. A dead one at that. "This house had better be worth the trek." Olvia loosened the collar of her shirt in an effort to sooth the stifling heat, Abel on the other hand didn't seem too upset. Though she could see telltale signs of flaking skin along his nape. In the distance she picked up a familiar structure. A light grin tugged at her lips. "Let's see if it's as haunted as they say, shall we?" |
