Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

[attr="class","lamlioo"] @mods | time to find some booty, using any pokemon btw so surprise me
[attr="class","lionmantalks"] The sounds of an engine dying down, echoed through the area as a rather large bike descended onto the sand below with a small sigh coming from the man. "Now this totally looks like a good place to get some parts." He said with a slight sarcastic tone, as he slowly got off his bike to take a gander at the still semi-wrecked vessel. The fact that it was still out here really baffled the guy, because that was a long time ago, surely someone has picked the place clean already. However, Reggie did hear rumors about there still being some valuable parts around, well he will be the judge of that. [break][break] He took a couple steps towards the S.S Libra, making sure to lock his ride just in case there was any bandits or something around these parts, stealing from unsuspecting people like him, and since it already happened twice already, he thought the third time should be the charm. [break][break] "Alright, well let's see what's around here." He was a bit wary of who, or what he might run into, so he made sure to have one of his pokeballs at the ready just in case if something had the jump on him.
[attr="class","lionmantalks"] So thus the search for anything salvageable has begun for the young man, granted there didn't really seem like many he could consider bringing back to the part shop. Mainly because it was either smashed under rubble or eroded too much because of the sand. This prompted him to simple sigh and slouch his shoulders slightly,"Well maybe I will have better luck further inside." So far this trip wasn't worth the gas, and wouldn't be until the mechanic finds something of use. [break][break] "Excuse me whippersnapper!" This voice made Reginald turn his head, to see an older man wearing what seemed to be the typical outfit of an explorer, especially from this certain series of movies that he stumbled across. Something Jones, but that was besides the point, as the old man seemed kind of out of breath as he ran towards the brunette. "I challenge... you to a...battle. For the right...to explore this ship." With the way that he took breaks to take in deep breaths and to weeze, Reggie simply thought the man was gonna keel over. "A-are you sure? You seem kinda... winded." Reggie asked with a raised brow, but the old man simply chucked at his response. "An explorer never squanders a chance to battle. Go Bagon!" [break][break] This threw the mechanic to a loop, but it was a chance to at least get something out of this trip, experience could be just as good. Not able to pay for gas, but good nonetheless. "Go Triton." Now he didn't really know how good this fish was, manly because he got it as payment from an earlier job so this was the first time he was seeing it battle. "Mud-slap that dragon." [break][break] Now that wasn't something he thought he would say, but it was all the Barboach knew so, that was the plan of attack. So that's what the fish did, whipped up some dirt with his tail and flicked it at the dragon's face, which prompted the old man to tell it to bite back. Thankfully it had sand in it's eyes so that was a miss, which prompted another slap to the face. [break][break] "Now you stop that, it's unsavory!" The explorer called out at Reginald's use of blinding that poor Bagon with sand. [break][break] "It's all he knows!" He quickly retorted, as Bagon finally was able to bite the fish, which retaliated with another slap of mud to it's face, knocking the dragon on it's back in defeat. "Well you won't be able to defeat my strongest pokemon." Alfred boasted, which made Reggie decided to return his guppy, for his strongest pokemon. Kerberus the houndour, who immediately howled when he was sent out, knowing that a tough battle might be afoot. "Go my Wynaut!" Out of that pokeball was one of the most unintimidating Pokemon Reggie has seen, which prompted the dog to look back at his owner to see if that was a joke or something. Which responded a small chuckle from the man,"Umm, okay. Use ember." [break][break] With those embers that burned the small blue pokemon, the old man let out a laugh, "Fell for my plan! Use encore!" This prompted the wynaut to essentially tell Kerberos for another, which he gladly did. "So... how is this your plan?" Reginald questioned and Albert retorted with another laugh. "Now your pokemon is stuck using ember!" Ummm, okay then. Fine plan, if Reggie could rate it, it would be a 5/7. So this continued until the last Pokemon was defeated, with the explorer hanging his head that his 'master plan' failed. So now Reggie had an old man's permission to roam this ship. Yay...
[attr="class","lionmantalks"] Alright well now that Explorer Jones, or whoever that old man was trying to cosplay as was dealt with, Reggie was now finally able to explore the wreckage with supposed no worries. At least that is what he hoped, but sadly that didn't seem to be the case. That became evident when Reggie start to roam around the outer perimeter, and he managed to come across another person, given the fact that the last person he met was a trainer he would have to assume this... sailor? "I think you are a little late buddy. This ship ain't gonna be sailing anytime soon." He pointed at the ship, which was clearly cleaved in half, and in the middle of the desert. Not unless this poor fella wanted to set sail on the sea of sand, although Reginald would have to admit that would be rather cool to see. [break][break] "Nonsense! Every ship needs a sailor regardless of condition! So I, Bubbles with be it's sailor!" Now this wasn't something Reginald signed up for, he just wanted to see what parts were laying around here to help with any future projects, but alas people kept on getting in his way. "I take it you are a trainer! Then I Bubbles will have to deal with you on behalf of this fine ship!" Bubbles yelled out again, and with a toss out came a Beldum. Now Reggie wasn't no genius, but he was sure a Beldum wouldn't be of any help on the seas, but it was a steel type if he remembered correctly, so it should be a walk in the park for Kerberos. [break][break] "Alright burn that lump of steel." This battle should be a cake walk for the dog, so Reginald let it do it;s own thing, and besides the houndour wouldn't mind just making this beldum go down in a blaze of... glory? Yeah sure, glory. "Don't let that landlubber stop you Beldum! Take that dog downnnnn!" Bubbles announced while cheering on his pokemon, as it rammed into Kerberos which in turn retaliated with another ember, scorching the steel type causing it to painfully hover in the air, before another ember took it down. [break][break] "You think you beat me! Think again, go!" Another pokemon that Reginald didn't really think of seeing from this kind of trainer, a fire type. Like the ocean was it's weakness, and he was planning on taking that on a ship? Not the brightest sailor that's for sure, and that's coming from Reggie. "You really got to work on your pokemon man..." The mechanic sighed before sending out Triton to deal with the fire type. Since the Baroach only knew Mud-slap as an offensive attack, that is how the battle went. An exchange of Scratch and Mud-slaps, now granted the bird managed to get a couple good hits in, the super effectiveness of the ground move proved to be the bird's undoing. [break][break] "You haven't seen the last of me! Bubbles! So long landlubber!" The sailor announced before retreating to the desert, all while Reggie stood there deadpan, still unsure on what the hell was up with that sailor, or exactly was going on. "Some weird folks around this ship it seems..."

[attr="class","lionmantalks"] Now that Reginald had a couple of moments to himself, no silly trainers or anything bothering him he could actually do what he came here for. Which was surprisingly not battling. So away Reginald started to look, just to make sure he didn't miss anything. Which surprisingly he did, it was buried under some sand where he landed his bike. Who knew? Well it seemed to be a sort of pokeball, although it was colored differently when he compared it to his own. "Well you aren't something I can savage for parts, but wouldn't hurt to have I suppose." Sure Reggie hasn't ran into any wild Pokemon around these parts, but it could be useful. [break][break] "Alright so let's see if there is anything inside.."Reginald pondered to himself as he decided to venture further in.

[attr="class","lamlioo"] @mods | tldr: doge versus meditite, doge won
[attr="class","lionmantalks"] Now at least this was getting him somewhere, he did manage to find a couple screws that he could re-purpose, but since they were screws it really wasn't worth dragging around in his pocket because they were relatively simple to get. Of course, so far he has a pokeball and some screws from this trip. That and a couple trainers still roaming around this place, some of which seemed to be a couple screws loose. "Maybe these are their screws?" It made sense to the man, mainly because of how accurate it seemed. However the brunette was dragged out of his screw thoughts when a trainer approached him, which prompted Reggie to sigh. "Sure I will battle you, for claim of this boat or something." [break][break] Reggie knew the drill at this point, and the traveler simply raised a brow. "Uhhh, okay?" He seemed a bit confused but accepted the challenge nonetheless. So the traveler sent out his Meditite, so Reginald sent out Kerberos, type advantage and also because he did favor the dog. "Alright use smog!" Reggie commanded as the houndour sent out a purple haze at the enemy, causing to cough up and feeling the effect of poison. Exactly what he would have wanted, while the opponent used the move bide. Absorbing the damage that was being done to save for later. Sadly Kerberos wasn't planning to give it a chance to fight back and began to let it rain embers. [break][break] After Kerberos' rain of embers, the Meditite let out it;s bide attack, dealing a nice bit of damage to the pooch, but not until the poison finished it off. "You alright there bud?" Reggie bent down to his houndor and pat his head after a good battle while the traveler went off on his next big adventure.... or something like that.
