Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

She'd heard some good intel on something that seemed right up her alley. She hadn't seen one of these in a long while and was honestly grinning ear to ear as she made her down the canyon. She'd already been in the area once and found it easy to traverse. [Break][break] "Sylvia." she released the ralts from her ball as she reached stopping point within the cayon, the ralts being the strongest on her team seemed the best choice for the job right now. [Break][break] She traversed the canyon at a leasurely pace, her ralts swaying on the path behind her as she always was. [break] Maiya needs more fire types anyway.

Maiya actually didn't like charmander all that much. It wasn't like it was a bad fire type, it was a rarer sort in some cases too but it just wasn't her favorite. Perhaps it was how they look? Didn't fit her aesthetic as they were such huge bulky things by the time they reached Charizard levels. Either way really wasn't her favorite but it would do. Plus it could be useful down the road one day, you never knew. [break][break] Wish a quick gesture her ralts zipped forward, activating the double team move and surrounding the charmander. It actually seemed to get a little confused and was unsure what to do until her ralts slammed it down with a psyshock. When the charmander rose it casted ember in her direction but a swift use of teleport left most of the burning move hanging in the air, what did hit however certainly stung. The pokemon moved growl at the ralts but it meant little in the face of her confusion. [break][break] "Fall back" by this point the lizard was most definitely tired out enough that the pokeball she threw at it would manage to capture it. She had been hoping to find loot or more charmanders, not some kid playing at hunter. Oh well, she'd make a quick battle of it and be done with it. When he dropped a chikorita out she made a quick switch in pokemon, returning her ralts and releasing her vulpix. [break][break] The battle was quick and easy. Fire to grass and all that. The chikorita started off with a growl and her vulpix when right for the high damage, starting things off with a fire spin and locking the pokemon in a ring of fire that would continue to deal a good amount of damage for awhile. It struck with razor leaf from within the flames but they did little good when flying through the flames left little leaf left to strike at it. Her vulpix followed with ember, the growing exposure to fire proving particularly painful for the chikorita. Another razor leaf fell short and all it took was one last ember to defeat the pokemon. [break][break] The next pokemon was water, her least favorite, her Vulpix wasn't exactly fond of them either so she swapped her out for her ralts again. The little pokemon was always worth its while. Commands didn't even need to be stated, she knew just what to do when she saw not just another pokemon but it was with a trainer. Teleport behind, slam it with a psyshock. It hurt, it always did. The wooper responded with whipping its tail but before the slam attack could go through she activated double team, zipping around with whooper with little trouble. It slammed into her a second time, just barely catching her as she wizzed by. She responded with confusion. The wooper tried to shoot a water gun at her but by now it was growing weak, one last psyshock was enough to fell it. [break][break] The next pokemon the trainer produced was a poochyena. It didn't seem too strong so she brought back her ralts and allowed out... Logan. [break][break] Now, logan was a special child. Almost immediately he started hopping around the poochyena... murping. It responded by howling, to which he replied by trying to drown out the howling with murping. That was a sight, a poochyena standing in front of a mudkip howling while the mudkip made whatever sound mudkips made. Maiya threw her hands in the air because she couldn't comprehend what was wrong with the thing. The poochyena stopped and turned to look at it in disbelief and Logan promptly slapped that pooch right on his smart ass snout. Howling at him like that, how dare he? The pooch shook his head, barked and attempted to tackle the mudkip. It worked, but it also earned him another slap. Another tackle, another slap, this went on for a few moments before the mudkip managed to jump aside and leave the pooch wide open to a well placed slap which left him hurting and down for the count. [break][break] The mudkip turned, hopped back to his trainer, murping along the way and seemed very proud of his victory. "I think it's time we left before we have too much more of this, another charmander isn't worth it." Maiya shook her head, walking away with the murp in tow. [break] recap:[break] Vulpix defeated chikorita [break] Ralts defeated wooper[break] Mudkip defeated poochyena [break] all pokemon were eligible for levels[break] Thread end.
