Rakutsu normally found himself cursing himself out regularly. This could be for a number of things. But the one thing out of all others was of his own bordom. There wasn't a lot to do in this barren region that hardly anyone outside even talks about. He often finds himself entertaining himself in small ways. When he finally got his first pokemon it opened all the doors. Some of which he is reconsidering keeping open.
Rakutsu often got calls from a friend down at the police station and one who hears alots of rumors. His calls are filled with information and sometimes even request. One of which was one he was in the middle of at the moment. He got a call telling him about a kid who got lost at a old criminal group's hide out in the same Canyon that he got Charmander. The same canyon that he left for the nearby town after leaving said canyon.
So it was visible how annoying it was to drive all the way back. The place was said to be off limits, but there wasn't a damn person in front of it to say otherwise so he just walked right in.

Rakutsu entered the building from the front entrance rather carelessly if one were too see him. His opinion of the place wasn't one of awe or even being impressed. Even if the place was in a state of decay, it didn't seem to have any impressive architect to it if were new. The place didn't really look big on the inside for that matter. How did the kid get lost in this dump?
The question would escape his mind as he entered a room filled with files. Said file were slipped to the ground and was able to see what looked like a TM. Lucky break for him.

Rakutsu placed the tm in his bag for later use on a future pokemon of his choice before stepping out of the empty room seeing how the kid wasn't in there. He was hoping to find something to help point him in the right direction. His hopes were crushed in that moment. Because instead of something helpful he got a random girl turning the corner demanding a battle.
He tried to explain that he couldn't give her the time, but she wasn't listen. That actually annoyed him despite his own stubbornness sometimes. Seeing no other option he grabbed a ball from his belt. Charmander was his first pokemon out againest her Chansey.
Charmander was ready to attack before Chansey jumped at it using pound. However, the attack did met the fire lizard as it moved out of the way before it landed on the ground.
"Smokescreen into a ember."
Charmander opened his mouth to release a thick layer of smoke apon the Chansey covering its view before series of small embers were sent at it. Rakutsu heard the small cry of pain coming from the smoke making him feel glad that his attack landed.
"Keep at it with ember."
The assault continued of the fire lizard contiuned as it sprayed embers from its mouth and into the smoke. He wouldn't let up for a good minute before closing his mouth. The smoke cleared to show a knocked out Chansey on the ground before it was called back.
Medititie was the next pokemon the girl sent out. It's strength level seems to be around the same as his Eevee's.
"Come back Charmander."
He called back Charmander to his ball so he can send out Eevee to fight. He wasn't sure if this was a good idea or not. The girl's second pokemon was part fighting type and it was a risk to send out Eevee of all pokemon to fight.
Eevee ran at the fighter as it glowed white and slammed into it using tackle. Rakutsu expected the attack to do more damage then what it did, but for some reason it didn't. He then saw that it was actually using Bide which could be a problem. Eevee didn't consider it and just kept using tackle on the fighter. Eevee's final assault was met head on when the fighter clashed using its bide attack after taking so much damage, but still lost the fight in the end.

The girl left them there without saying a word as she left the room for her next location. Most likely a pokemon center to heal her friends up. Rakutsu was hoping that this would be the last distraction for now, but it seems that the world really hates him. This was shown when the floor of the room he walked into gave out causing him to crash into the basement below. The teen landed on his back and yelled in pain from both the fall and the object he landed on. These objects were more lucky items that trainers find value in. After a minute of laying down he found the kid he was looking for in a corner.
