Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Endric did not often bother with actually entering the labs of the Cipher lair, sure he had interest in the people there but it was not a place he preferred to be. Simply wasn't his scene. He found it far more fruitful to simply look at the files of the people who inhabited the labs and if he needed to look further he could easily use his family's power and influence to do so. This was a rare occurrence indeed. [break][break] Not one to forget a face Endric found it easy to pick through the researchers in the cipher hallways on his ways to the lab, ugly hair, not enough forehead, didn't smell of smoke, was that an afro? He wasn't going to ask. It was better not to know the things that went on in these labs beyond the work being done, at least for now. Once he was in charge he'd be sure to pay close attention for dissenters and any who showed such signs would be quickly purged from their ranks. [break][break] That was another topic, he was looking for something else today. He made sure to knock before entering one of the actual labs, as he'd been told to. It was a good sign to people, showing them you paid attention to what they said in such a manner. Tended to make you someone they were more comfortable around. "I'm looking for... Cass was it?" THINGS WILL GET BETTER, WHEN I STOP LOOKING OUT A BROKEN WINDOW
"Oh sweet Arceus, it's so bloody cramped here. My brains are being wasted on this crap. Could have been put to good use but nooooo..." These were the mumbling of a certain Cipher researcher, who was currently face first on one of the couple desks, with it being covered in papers, mainly the various scattered formulas or notes from the various other minds trying to get actual work done. Caspian on the other hand was a little bored, and that putting it mildly as he was currently covered by papers, to the point where their was a pile and he was almost buried completely. This kind of resulted in the rest of the workers to leer at the man, mainly with annoyance as they had to work around the damn cipher slacker.
Thoughts about playing hooky crossed his mind, get out of this cramped lab and maybe get some time and piece of quiet to actually get some work down. It did seem a bit plausible, he could make up an excuse or something, like he needed to walk Lambda, or Delta was getting a little cramped and would start going dig crazy. That could work... The silver haired guy was drawn back to reality when he heard a scientist call out saying that someone had been asking for him. His eyes jutted open and he quickly rose up in an upright position, causing a storm of papers to fly in the air, and fall all around his chair. Was he expecting someone? He looked out towards the entrance to the lab, and noticed an green haired fella, there was only one person who would follow that description.
"Hmmm, yeah be right there." He lazily waved to the researcher at the door, who let out a small huff before whispering to Endric, "Be careful with that one, he's an lazy arse." Before making his way back to some of the various computers. "Hey, so what brings you to these neck of the woods?" He lazily welcomed Endric to the labs, while asking what he was doing here so soon, well sooner then he thought the guy would have that visit. He wasn't really giving the most productive vibes, mainly because he was mostly scratching the back of his head, and trying to fix some of the stuck up strands from his little break.

He had already begun to busy himself with looking around while waiting to have the one he was after pointed out to him. The place was just as it always seemed to be in the few times when he had been around and he wasn't surprised in the slightest by that. His attention was drawn back when the other scientist whispered something rather disappointing to him. He wasn't looking for people that were lazy, he had interest in workers. People more capable at their jobs than anyone else could be and lazy was not something he considered to be a part of that ideal. He didn't leave though, that'd be rude now and besides, he could still make conversation concerning one other subject. [break][break] "It's not often I find others who aren't from around here, so I thought it might be worthwhile to say hello again. And didn't you tell me to drop by anyway? I even knocked first." Endric made a gesture as though he were knocking on a nonexistent door as he made his way to Cass' table, a smile plastered on his face. He wanted to make it apparent he hadn't missed that little comment before when they had chatted. He'd spoken about the people of Orre as 'the locals', quite the tip off. [break][break] Endric found something that seemed unlikely to explode when touched and leaned against it, he wasn't interested in sitting but he wanted to give a relaxed appearance, make it seem like this was as casual a visit as possible. "Things seem pretty busy around here." [break] Caspian Locke
THINGS WILL GET BETTER, WHEN I STOP LOOKING OUT A BROKEN WINDOW
Caspian couldn't help but to go and draw a dirty look towards the scientist that took the door, as he was ninety percent sure that he tried to whisper something to Endric. Bastard was one of those folks around the lab that claimed to be some of the brightest minds, and some of the senior workers around the team. News to him, when Caspian walked in and told him he was definitely an senior and asked if he remembered where he parked his walker, that and he kinda told him that his research was shit, and he should feel bad. Ahhh the good ole' days, and if this keeps up Caspian might casually mention something in the next meeting about how a certain someone was spending company money on some 'personal funds', that will smarten him up.
Moving on from making a co-worker's life hell, and back to the whole thing with a certain green haired fella. "Oh yeah, sorry about that but with the way things are, some things go over my head. Busy and all of that, but more then welcome to say hi, could use a break anyway. " Lied through his teeth on most of that, as he was just finishing a break nap, but hey if he could get a chance to get out of more boring work, fine by him. "But yeah I know what you mean, not a lot of foreigners around these parts. Can't see why there would be many people in these parts, too much sand for my taste." Definitely different from Hoenn that's for sure. The man leaned against a desk, mainly to avoid being on his legs, as he wasn't alert enough for that to happen for the whole conversation.
"Oh boy, very busy around these parts. So the offer on swapping still stands if you don't mind having no breathing room around here." Caspian kinda knew the answer, as Enric didn't seem like the kind of guy to waste his time in these parts, but he may as well mention it just in case. "It's like were running around like torchiks with our heads cut off by the way things have been going. Well at least things out there still isn't too hectic right now are they?" Cass still didn;t really get much info on what the normal members were out doing, but from the sounds of it they had it much better. His eyes glanced at some of the papers on the desk, and it only appeared as chicken scratch, which solidified that he thought most of them should be sent back to fifth grade to work on their penmanship.

At least he didn't have to put too much effort into making the guy talk. That was easy. Though he did hope he didn't end up being too much of a talker. That got boring quick. It was one of the reasons he preferred playing the talking game with other people who knew how to play it just as well as he did. Made his life easier that way if only because he didn't have to listen to people blandly drawl on about their day and all the bits and pieces that meant absolutely nothing. [break][break] Endric waved off the apology, unnecessary and not worth spending time on in his opinion. It was all just polite formality anyway and more time you spent on formalities the less people told you things that had actual pertinence. Formalities created distance and breaching the distance was what he intended to do. "I think I'll stick to the field work still, this kind of place really isn't my scene." it wasn't the crowd, he was used to parties filled with people. He just had zero interest in the people at this party. Well zero interest in most of them. [break][break] "It's still quiet outside of the base, yes." the comment was paired with a soft smile with the intention of keeping the face of being a gentleman simply making small talk with a co-worker. He'd keep such images up as long as he could. "Where are you from by the way? If I may." he tried to bring the topic back around to the fact they were both foreigners, hoping to get the other talking about himself at least a little bit. [break] Caspian Locke
sorry but the Cass muse hasn't been strong as of late Egg mentioned
THINGS WILL GET BETTER, WHEN I STOP LOOKING OUT A BROKEN WINDOW
"Can't blame ya, if this was your first visit to the belly of the science beast." Damn, he would have enjoyed a day on the fields. Shooting sit, and not doing much from the sounds of it. After he spoke those words, he reached out behind him to get something from his desk. A brown and white colored egg, and brough it up on his lap. Mainly to keep an eye on it, as per the advice from the buyer.
"The land of space and shit, Mossdeep. Boring island despite what they say." The tone that Caspian used, was one mixed with annoyance and sarcasm, mainly towards his attitude towards the place. It was rather famous in the Hoenn region, mainly for their programs and plans of investigating the grate unknown. Something that his father was fascinated by, but the son couldn't really be bother to care. Sure, looking at the stars was a sick gig, lazing around until they see one exploding or something. Caspian on the other hand would at least want to do something, anything that required his brain. The only thing was that apparently there wasn't much of a drive to sue it to it's fullest capabilities. Which is why he was even at Cipher to begin with.
"What about you?" It might be a good idea to figure out where this green haired fella was from. Only fair. As much as it was fun to watch people play the talking game, a battle of who can out wit who, Caspian didn't have that much interest in it. The silver haired man had no idea on what the other was planning, but he could at least try to get the same info out of him. As he spoke, he pat his egg lightly almost as if it was the eevee it was supposed to be.

Endric chuckled a little. This one certainly had a sense of humor didn't he? At least it wasn't the obnoxious kind, this one at least had a good sense of it. At least to Endric, but then again his opinion was the one that mattered the most at the end of the day. "Indeed." [break][break] He rose a brow at the egg but otherwise ignored it. "Mossdeep. I've heard of the place but its one of the few I haven't been to." He'd traveled a lot in his younger days, his parents always seemed to be taking him from one place to another. It was how it seemed to always be. [break][break] "I'm from the Sinnoh region myself." he left the answer a little vague, preferring not to specify unless asked to in case it might tip anyone off to his heritage and start raising flags. Especially to another outsider. He'd already had one person catch him for what he was he didn't need anyone else doing the same. "To be honest it wasn't anything spectacular either." [break][break] Most would call that a lie, not because he was actually lying, he didn't consider it anything spectacular but other would have probably begged to differ as he had a pretty glamorous life by comparison. He was from the upper tier of society after all. [break] Caspian Locke

I’ve reached the verdict that mostly, I’m a bore.
Well honestly, Cass wasn't that surprised that Endric didn't really visit Mossdeep, it was a island in the middle of the ocean. Not that many people in Hoenn have been there, almost as bad as Sootopolis who was even more isolated, although it did have more visitors with it's history.
As if to further the distance between the two poeple, is when his co-worker said that he was from Sinnoh. "Geez, you are a fair ways from home. Guess that explains a few things." Thankfully Caspian wasn't one of higher status or anything, so he wouldn't pick up on Endric's heritage. If anything Caspian was mostly in the dark about that region and it's people, mainly because he hasn't been there. Heard the stories of some of it's news but that's it.
"Yeah, I would say. None of us living the lifestyles of the rich and shameless that's for sure." The joke was followed by a small sigh, as he gave the egg a small pat. Another sigh followed, as he tried to take a small look around the room, mostly to just clear his head slightly.
"Just means that we can take advantage of what this region is. A land for people looking for a exciting life. Think I saw that on the pamphlet when I got here..."
Wasn't really wrong though, as he could honestly say that the place was more expansive and interesting then Mossdeep. Although he could do with less sand, and desert that's for sure.
He couldn't help but chuckle a bit at how the guy responded to him being from the Sinnoh region, he never really thought all that much about being far from home. Then again he had a hard time really considering the region to be a home to begin with. The only thing Endric really had to tie him down there was the family money but that didn't count as a real home, at least he didn't think it did. He wasn't even likely to spend his life in the estate once it was passed on to him. [break][break] Endric stopped that train of thought as soon as the other cracked his next joke. "Are there even rich people in this region?" he wished to direct it a little ways away from themselves considering the fact he was living the rich life just doing his best to make it not look like he was. Also very far away from the land where it was most obvious he was living the rich life. The only true remnant he had of it over here (other than all the people that kept recognizing him) was exactly how gourmet the lollipops he had exported in from his home region was... he did not take his lollipops lightly. [break][break] "To be honest I don't think I've really seen anyone that'd count as rich, at least not rich in Sinnoh terms." he feigned a look of curiosity though it wasn't entirely fake, he really did want to know what counted as rich here in Orre. Partially so he knew how easy it'd be to best the region's finest in a game of money. "Though I suppose with all the excitement of the region they don't have time to look the part." he referenced what the other had said about an exciting life of Orre to show that while he was wandering off on a tangent he was still listening to what they said.

Save your breath, I'm nearly Bored to death.
On the topic of reach people around in this region, kinda had Cass actually think on that. Cause he didn't really see anyone fitting any kind of description that screamed, 'Rich Bitch'. Although one place did come to mind.
"Well there is that tower, I'm sure some of the rich folks are hiding up there. Doing whatever rich folk do, like making it rain or doing so much blow." Honestly, the guy had no real idea on what the rich people would do around there, as it wasn't really the most lively or fancy region. Maybe they just flew to Unova or Kalos the moment they made bank. No real reason to stick around here, that's for sure.
"Well I wouldn't really be surprised if all of the really rich folk just decided to fly to Sinnoh or something. Cause there ain't any reason I can think or to stick around." Further showing that there might be a gap between those two different regions. Endric did have a point though, if they were around they sure didn't go around throwing their money around with fancy suits or anything. Although with all of the shady folk around the place, the chances that they will be mugged will sky rocket. Kind like putting a 'mug me' sign on their backs.
All the while, Cass continued to pet his eevee egg, who actually started to shake showing signs of it being close to hatch. Well at least that is what is he assumed, and it wasn't any sign of it going bad or something. Perhaps all of this talk about the upper class talk could be stirring the pokemon for a nap or something.
