TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME Ian had come to this hot little desert area for one thing, a rumor about a certain type of fire lizard that seemed to be appearing here. Ian really wasn't all that interested in the creature but it would be useful for a trade in the future if nothing else. So the cipher informant was here towards the end of the appearance of the creatures. The reason? Well he didn't want to be here during the crowds when every little person was going to be here and that just meant that he was going to avoid crowds like the plague. He wasn't a real crowd person, and this quiet deserted place was perfect for him now. That meant he could come in, get his pokemon and get out. Tossing a pokeball up and down in his hand he knew that probably a few stragglers would be left out here.
With a slight toss the pokeball opened up to let out venom, his seviper, who moved next to his leg rubbing against him. The cipher gently stroking the head of the creature before continuing to walk ahead of him. "Come along Venom, we have a fire lizard to catch." he commented as he started to search for the creature that everyone seemed to be so interested in. TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME It didn't take long before it seemed the fire lizard had heard them coming. The creature had appeared and it looked like it wanted to battle and that was just fine with the cipher. "Venom." he called calmly as the snake moved forward. "Swagger then Lick." he called quickly. The pokemon quickly seemed to move back and forth, to anger the charmander but it also seemed confused as it was susceptible to lick and seemed to paralyze it some. The Charmander rushed forward trying to scratch at the snake but ended up falling on its face instead. To be honest this was a little less than pathetic and Ian could only imagine what it was like to actually battle with this creature. "Finish it off Venom, with a bite attack," Ian called as the charmander started to push itself up.
It only managed to get up a few inches before fangs latched around its small body in a quick and deadly strike that would have sent venom through the creatures body had they not been trying to catch it. The seviper released the creature as it collapsed on the sand and made no move to get back up. Ian silently grabbed a ball from his side enlarging it before tossing it at the fallen pokemon. It wasn't really something he was interested in but the informant was sure someone else would trade something he wanted for a fire lizard. TO SEE THE DARKEST PART OF ME The ball rocked and after a moment the lizard was successfully captured inside the pokeball. The cipher quietly moved forward and picked up the pokeball putting it on his belt for now, since he really didn't want to use the pokemon, but someone else would. The man had only gotten a little bit toward the exit of the canyon. Two little girls approached him and with a frown the man started to walk past them before one of the little girls stopped him to tug on his pants. "Mister we heard their was charmander here.." one girl said as the other looked up and finished the twins comment. "We really like charmander.." the other finished. Ian sighed a bit cause he didn't have time for this.
He gave in turning his body and pointing where he came from. "If you go that way, that is where they are." he said quietly. The girls brightened up and started to skip that way. "Thank you mister!" they both replied in unison. Okay, so that wasn't too hard but still.. the wasn't sure if he would like helping every little girl that came his way.
