As Kamil was walking he stumbled on a box that had the design of a pokeball laying on the ground. He crouched down to look at it while talking to himself. "This must be what some of the trainers were talking about. I remember the stories people would tell me back at the farm about how they would find these poke'box like containers on the ground. I wonder how true these stories are." He pressed the round button in the center and the top red part opened. Inside was a burn heal. "Oh so they are true. What do we have here? Ooo, a burn heal. I might need this while searching for that fire type that is somewhere around here. I hope they weren't all caught." He continued onward looking around for any sign of fire or odd shadows, as well as more of those Poke'Boxes similar to the one he just found.

Kamil kept walking throughout the canyon when at last he saw a flame sticking out from a corner. When he turned around he saw it was not just a fire type, but a Charmander. "Oh thats cool. Alright I have to catch you." He tossed out his Quilfish.

Upon sending it out, the Charmander attacked with a Growl and Ember, which lowered Quilfish's attack, but otherwise wasn't very effective, until he noticed the ember burned Quilfish. "Use Fell Stinger Quilfish" It did a small amount of damage and poisoned the Charmander. Both were hurt by each other's status effects, but the good news was Kamil could heal Quilfish's.

Kamil reached into his bag and pulled out his Burn Heal and used it. The Charmander was ruthless and tried to burn Quilfish again with another Ember, followed by another growl. Luckily it didn't burn again, but now his attacks were going to do even less damage than before leaving Kamil with the options of trying to wait for the poison, or send a plant Pokemon to fight a fire type. The poison was definitely going to be the key because it hurt the Charmander once again.

"Use Tackle, Quilfish!" Kamil shouted. As he commanded it did, doing a little bit more damage. This time the Charmander used a Smoke Screen and another growl. The poison did a little bit more damage and you could tell the Charmander was getting weaker.

At this point with his attacks almost insignificant with the chance of missing and even if they did hit, they wouldn't do much damage. He didn't want to risk His Bulbasaur getting hurt so easily leaving him defenseless. He had to throw the Pokeball because Quilfish couldn't take no more than two hits. He reached into his bag and threw one at the Charmander.
