According to recent word going around town, a swarm of Wooper had been spotted around Gateon Port. This had instantly spiked the curiosity that ran through the young woman, and she had postponed the rest of her business in town to do a search for this not so elusive Pokemon. A water type would always be useful on the team, and she'd love another addition to the "family". So calling out Anna, her Eevee that had been at her side since she was four, the two of them wandered around on the hunt.
Anna excitedly jumped all around, her fluffy tail bouncing up and down as she ran this way and that, sniffing at every little object that might possibly hold a Wooper. [attr="class","ajbrab"]Suddenly Anna started to jump around, letting out little yipping sounds to get her trainer's attention. Imogen curiously walked over to the Eevee, who was dancing around a barrel excitedly. "What is it, girl?" she asked softly, her interest piqued. The Eevee let out another yip and nudged the barrel with her head. With a small chuckle Imogen carefully began to lift the lid off of the barrel and that was her one mistake.
As soon as the lid came even a little bit off, Imogen was suddenly knocked backwards onto her butt by a strong Water Gun to the face. The girl let out a squeal as she fell, which caused Anna to go into protective mode and jump in front of her as a Wooper jumped out of the barrel and made a run for it. "A-Anna! Get it!" she squeaked. The little Eevee was already on it and rushed after the Pokemon as it fled. It wasn't just going to get away after attacking her friend!
The Wooper let out an unearthly screech as Anna caught up and Tackled it, falling forwards and rolling for several feet. It tried to scramble to get back up, but all was lost as star-shaped rays came flying at it as the Eevee used a quick Swift on it. The Wooper fell right back over. This time it didn't get up. Anna tilted her head, since she was pretty sure it was still okay, and carefully prodded over to it, sniffing it some. The Wooper was prepared for this, and as soon as the Eevee got close shot a Mud Shot at her.
Anna looked pretty unhappy about it, and covered in mud she didn't spare any hesitation quickly Tackling it again. This time the Wooper didn't get up. By the time Imogen caught up Anna was sitting beside the Wooper licking the mud off. The girl tried not to laugh as she tossed a Pokeball at the Wooper.
