Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

He had started at the port and simply walked from there. It was the kind of day where he simply needed to get away from all the people and spend a little time alone. Or at least mostly alone as he always seemed to have apokemon with him at least. Today he walked with Iselia who despite being a little mischievous as her species often was also seemed to be the only one other than Ivalice who seemed to enjoy simply hanging around. He appreciated that the pokemon seemed to understand his need to simply enjoy the quiet from time to time. She just hung there in the air and kept him company. [break][break] Even he would admit though, that the walk could just as easily prove a decent training ground for the ghost. Especially now that he had the proper stone to evolve her once she got strong enough for it to be worth while. [break] Iselia out

Out from behind a rock slithered a snake, an ekans to be exact. Endric wasn't appaled, it wasn't the highest on his list but the pokemon could be of use somewhere in the future. If nothing else it was a decent filler pokemon while he tried to gather the pokemon he did want. "Perhaps you can go.... make friends?" he grinned at the misdreavus, she seemed to get exactly what he meant and grinned right back. [break][break] Iselia glided forward, trying her best to be stealthy so she could pop out in front of the ekans with an astonish attack, it worked and the snake flinched. She followed it up with a Psywave which hit strong with the snake so caught off guard. It leered at her before whipping its tail up towards her in the hopes of wrapping around her not but couldn't quite reach. She used Psywave again and winced at the poison sting that the ekans countered with. It did little good though when she used psywave again and it was obviously too weak to fight back too much more. [break][break] "Back to me." Iselia obeyed, she's been the least rebellious of his pokemon so far and he was greatful for at least one that seemed willing to listen without question. He threw out a pokeball and waited. It wasn't a half bad start to his walk down the beach. [break] Iselia weakened the ekans[break] capture attempt made [break] iselia out

Endric happily retrieved the ball with the ekans. He would have to look further into the pokemon when he got back to bse and decide for sure if he wanted to keep it around or... in his room. Perhaps it would keep Ariadne company so she would feel less compelled to try and burn the curtains to relieve boredom. [break][break] With the ball at his side he returned to his walk, his misdreavus at his side, pausing only when he saw something shiny wash up on the shore. Upon investigation it proved to be a fire stone. He had little use for such an item but perhaps he could use it to win himself something useful later. [break] iselia out

The walk continued and Endric found himself whistling a tune from his childhood. Something from the music box that used to sit on his mothers desk. He'd wind it up and let it play, laughing while he watched Ivalice dance around the room, she was just a little budew then. He smiled at the image of her dancing around on her two little legs and it made him chuckle. A glimmer of something in the waters brought his attention back to now and away from the memory. Probably for the better. [break][break] Endric stared down at the pokeball and wondered who had died out in the waters, their items now washing ashore. A stark difference from the earlier memory. [break][break] He inspected the pokeball, ensuring it was still valid before he slipped into his pocket and continued on his way, whistling that little tune. [break] iselia out

It would seem Endric was not the only one who had seen the day as a good one for a walk on the beach. This was much to his dismay as he had hoped it would be the one place he would not have to deal with the people of this region in any way. Oh well, no helping this now. [break][break] This other trainer seemed to be allowing a pokemon some freedom out in the water, Endric made a point to stand a fair ways back and wait to see if he'd come away from the water with a grin on his face. The trainer seemed off put by it but took the bait anyway, motioning for the goldeen to come up on land and battle the misdreavus floating next to Endric. With a flick of his wrist she went in for an attack, a psywave striking down the pokemon. The fish responded with a tail whip but before she could do anything else Iselia used astonish, the goldeen flinched and was subjected to another psywave as punishment. The damage had taken its toll when the fish came in to peck at her with its horn and the ghost simply psywaved it again. Victory. [break][break] Endric was ready to walk away with the guy produced a second pokemon. A mere rattata. It meant nothing to his ghost and they would have been better off leaving. Oh well, easy practice for them. And it was, the rattata tried desperately to buff itself while Iselia dropped psywave after psywave on it, when finally it struck at her it did so with a tackle and the ghost pokemon laughed as the rat phased threw and his trainer smacked his own forehead. The rat had not realized the attack would simply fall short against the ghost who was amuse to normal attacked moves. Endric shook his head as his misdreavus used astonish to startle the rat into feinting. [break][break] He walked away with Iselia floating after him. [break] iselia defeated both [break] iselia out
