Hoenn was where this story was to start, Aster was born to a very high class family. His mother was a world renown contest winner and held the most prestigious ribbons with her flaffy, and his father had become part of the elite four with ghost as his main type. It was a match that happened on accident his father visiting a contest hall and seeing his mother preform. They dated and his father stepped down from the elite four to take care of his now wife and soon to be child that she was pregnant with.

Aster was raised as a high child and around a lot of people. It was probably as close to royalty as one could get with two parental figures who were so well known. While his parents tried to give him a normal childhood the boy grew up in the spotlight despite that and it was only natural for him to preform like one considering everyone was looking at him as the prestige from his parents. So he grew up with a raised head and was ready for his own spotlight, in his young years following his mothers path and winning contests as fast as his mother had as his pokemon won for their grace and beauty.

Aster found that it wasn't enough for him however, so after a long discussion with his parents he decided that he would go abroad and try somewhere else. The only way his parents would allow him to go however was if he beat their own league and could beat his father in a match of their own against his elite four team. It took a few years and finally the male had conquered both of his parents fields and the spotlight was once again on him, but something made him wonder what it was like to not be expected things in another place.
