Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO?

Aster didn't mind that she didn't answer, this place was peaceful enough without actually having to talk twenty four / seven about things constantly. He was content to just eat his apple in the silence which was now reduced to a core that he placed back in the basket, or rather tossed back into the basket. The man was content to soak in the sun after the slight bit of words they had exchanged even to the point when he had successfully made her smile once more and was sure he would have gotten a laugh if not for that exhausted look that ran up her face that she was about to fall aslseep on him. If she didn't like the sun though, it wasn't a good idea for her to remain in the sun and sleep on his lap.
When she poked him with her parasol his own chuckle came up as his smile deepened to a more relaxed state. "Well I am very sorry I called you the wrong thing, lassie." he said making a movement to mock having a hat on that he was tilting for her. It was only fun that way if they both were a part of the game rather than one playing more than the other. Still... it was nice to know that even though they had just met they could make each other laugh at least slightly to make them both more relaxed than the confused strangers they had been a few moments ago. He would make a mental note to make sure to ask her name before all of this was done.
With her response that was good enough for him as he moved his body one arm behind her back and one under her knees as a small grunt came from pushing himself back to his feet as his arms simultaneously pulled her against his chest. "Alright then, I'll move you so you don't have to." he said with a smile as he made sure to hold her gently and grip only tight enough that she wouldn't be falling out of his arms but should she really want out she could do so herself. Without another word the white haired trainer quietly moved only a few feet over under the base of a huge tree that would provide plenty of shade for them both.
"Perhaps this would be better for your nap, so tell me.. lass, would you prefer my lap again?"
[attr="class","gdiisp"] She'd been smiling at his gesture right up until he started moving his arms around her. It took her by surprise as she really hadn't anticipated him actually lifting her, not because she didn't think he could but simply because you didn't go around just lifting people! Even she knew better than that! (Of course the fact you don't just go around sitting on people either never crossed her mind.) Her eyes went a little bit wider and she gave a little exclaim of surprise but she made no motion to get down. Instead Isra was busy clinging to her parasol to make sure it didn't go anywhere she wasn't expecting it to just like she herself already was. [break][break] "Well you're certainly strong enough." it was a positive observation, a compliment even. She knew she wasn't the heaviest thing either but she wasn't short so she wasn't exactly light as a feather either. It was yet another pleasant surprise today and she ended up smiling as he carried her over to the tree, a second surprise. Or rather like the 10th already. "You're an odd one." she stated, but the fact he seemed to be taking into account her dislike of the sun actually made her smile even more. [break][break] "I already told you I wasn't moving from my spot, as far as I'm concerned my spot may have moved but its still my spot." for the rest of the evening his lap was her spot she decided, and if he was going to move that simply meant she'd be moving with him and sitting in his lap again. Why wouldn't she? It was comfortable and so far he had made for amusing conversation even if she was a little too tired to talk too much. Not to mention it wouldn't be a conversation with Isra if she didn't give him at least a little bit of attitude about something. [break][break] At least when she looked up at him from beneath her parasol she was grinning.

Well so far things hadn't gone too bad, in fact he found that she didn't really complain too much other than being surprised that he was suddenly lifting her. She didn't really fight and that was good enough of a reason for him to continue as she clutched at her parasol and he stood still a few moments to make sure she had everything she needed before once again moving and only when she spoke did a slight smirk cross his face. He could tell it was a compliment and it made him proud, even if she wasn't that heavy to begin with. "I'd like to hope I could do something this easy." he commented trying not to sound to prideful. He really wasn't aiming for that kind of look here but it was a nice thing to be complimented by the other considering he had pulled this on her from nowhere.
He had only just reached the tree when her next comment reached his ears and a small frown crossed his face and even his brows ruffled for a moment. "How would you explain that? If me taking into account that you don't like something is odd then I don't mind being odd. In my terms I would call that being a gentleman." he said with a small smile. Despite how he had been distracted with food earlier he had listened and taken into account that she didn't like the sun he found this the best solution so that if she did fall asleep she wouldn't have to hold that parasol all day. "Besides, I just really wanted to move under a tree." he said with a smirk, trying to make it seem like it was his idea from the beginning even if the move was mostly for her sake.
Aster couldn't help it as a rumble came from his chest at the next thing she said and it vibrated to her from there and his arms. "Is that so?" he said with a questioning look. It wasn't that he actually minded, so if that was what she wanted he could oblige. He was big enough that even sitting her on his lap he could see over her so it wasn't that big of a deal anyway. Making sure to strengthen his grip on her (protectively even) he slowly lowered himself to the ground with her still in his arms so his back was against the tree before carefully lowering her once more to his lap in the same position she was in before. "Well.. there you go lass." he said with a teasing voice at the end.
It was really up to her if she wanted to really adjust again. He was content to just lean against the tree and take in the beautiful world around him, starting with the unsuspecting creature that had now found it's place in his lap.
DOES HE MAKE YOU CRY? DOES HE KNOW THE WAY YOU FEEL? LOVE IS ALL AROUND YOU, YOUR UNIVERSE IF FULL. BUT IN MY WORLD, THERE IS ONLY YOU.
[attr="class","gdiisp"] Her comment seemed to make him rather proud of himself. Not only did the notion amuse her but she liked that, she felt confidence in ones abilities was a good thing. Though lifting her might not have been the most impressive of feats the fact that he did it with so little effort implied he could handle much more weight, that warranted the compliment. She wouldn't say anything on how proud of himself he sounded though, just reward him with a chuckle for it. [break][break] "You're odd because most people don't respond the way you do." it wasn't a lie, she wasn't used to people being so accommodating to how she was, or even doing things such as this when first meeting her. Isra herself spent no time on formalities even if she spoke in a bit of a stuff and formal tone when she was tired. It was a waste of time to her, simply used up time to her. "Most would have left me there, just given me my spot back." that was why she had sat on him to begin with, it was usually and effective way of getting people to move and most often resulted in them leaving her be. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to people though, she actually quite liked people, just most people weren't interesting enough to keep her attention. [break][break] That was the thing that was catching her attention most here with this man. Isra found him interesting, from the way he dressed to the way he replied to her. The fact he'd taken her with him when he moved to sit under the tree, the fact he seemed interested in continuing the conversation with her. He was a bit of a surprise, he was interesting. That was something that always caught her attention. Perhaps it was because she herself stood out so much amongst her peers, even if it was in a subtle way, it caused her to gravitate towards things she felt were the same as her, mild oddities in a world were people strived to be just like each other. [break][break] If she hadn't already been grinning his response to her wanting to stay in his lap would have made her do so, he was shaping up to be the sort of person she hoped to see a second time. "Yes." her answer to his that so was simple, she wasn't about to say anything otherwise anyway. She felt oddly comfortable with this one, she was comfortable in most situations as she didn't let things bother her easy but this was a different kind of comfortable. [break][break] A moment after he set her down she grabbed his hand and placed her parasol in it, having him hold it in the right spot for her so no stray beams of like would hit her, while the tree offered plenty of shade she preferred to be careful as more than once she had thought herself safe and found out the hard way she was not as safe as she thought she was. Isra swung her legs over on top of his, repositioning herself so she could lean back against his torso in a more relaxed position. If he was going to let her stay there she wasn't about to turn away from the opportunity. Once she was settled in she reached for her parasol again. [break][break] "Thank you. You know, you also remind me a bit of a snow storm. So white." she simply stated what came to mind, as she always did.

IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO?

Hmm.. what an interesting way of seeing it. Aster had never really thought that it was such an oddity to care about others and how they felt even if it was a little strange. Sure, sleeping during the day and being up at night was an odd thing but it wasn't odd enough for him to completely warrant a arrest of this girl. Everyone had something that made them special and this girl had her own reasons for things and if there was one thing he had carried with him it was respect and that was the only thing he held for strangers... or whatever term would be best to describe the relationship he had with the woman that had invaded his lap.
"Well, that would have been rude. Besides... I wouldn't want to get your clothes dirty or hurt you by trying to shove you off." he said with a slight shrug as he situated himself. "It's not like it hurt when you sat on me, I'm sure others did it cause they were just surprised is all. I'm sure they didn't mean any harm by it." he said trying to defend someone or many that weren't even there right now anyway. Hmm.. maybe that was just his nature to try and see some kind of reason for everything that happened. What was the word people called it... fate, yes he believed in a little something like that. Except, he knew very well that nothing was ever for certain and fate was always what one made of it not what was dealt to them. Things could always be changed.. and that was what he lived by.
Finally settling in to the tree behind him he was glad when he heard the answer from her. As simple as it may be it was still an answer that he looked forward to hearing all the same. Aster's mouth parted only for a moment before it shut once again as he was the one surprised this time as suddenly his hand (which he noted was much bigger than hers) was picked up and suddenly had an extra weight in it. Yellow orbs blinked as he was now holding the woman's parasol as she positioned herself on him differently so that her back was now against his chest and her legs on his own to which he gave a slight smirk and a small chuckle.
"You seem to do surprising things yourself." he mused quietly watching her as she finally got settled against him and reclaimed the parasol that had been placed in his hand. "Hmm? Nothing to thank me for, you're fine." he replied almost instantly to the comment of her thanking him. It wasn't like he had done anything that warranted a thank you, at least to him. Aster didn't really realize how much what he had done as a gentleman had meant to the other or the things she had gone through. His mind had only wandered for a moment as he caught the next thing that came out of her mouth and another soft flush moved over his face.
"Is that so, you think it's too much?" he asked with a soft laugh. "It's actually my favorite color, and matches with just about anything. Guess that explains why I wear so much of it.. oh and gold. I wear gold too.. but it's mostly white." he tried to explain finishing with more laughs because despite his love of white it was always so hard to clean. "Definitely worst part is everything get's on it. Can't be messy with my outfits, unless I want everyone to know I did so." he said with a smile. Though on the thought he actually caught something that he had missed and a hand instantly moved to his forehead to face palm himself a bit.
"I am such an idiot, I forgot my manners. My name is Aster Davis, It's nice to meet you." he said with a smile since he really couldn't shake her hand considering she was on his lap. At least he could introduce himself right, as it was the least he could do after all of this.
[attr="class","gdiisp"] All she heard was him talking and she found herself enjoying that. He certainly had plenty for her to listen to. She didn't mind really, she herself liked to talk, she was just too tired to talk too much. She was happy to listen to someone else speak today and while he did she relaxed against him a little bit more. She got the feeling she wasn't in any danger with him and Isra had always trusted her gut. Where she hadn't socialized with a lot of people in the same way others had she had spent plenty of time observing. She tended to notice the little things and found her natural intuition to be fairly accurate. The way he spoke did well to ascertain that. She'd be quick to respond if she felt the need but for now, this was perfectly fine. [break][break] "They didn't." she stated simply at his defense. "I'm a reasonable woman but I know the difference between being reasonably surprised or nice and being a dick. you for example, you are nice, most are not." she explained in another matter-of-fact tone. She'd had a few that were kinder about it, sweet natured outsiders but most in the region were not very kind. From her understanding the place outside of Agate were mostly harsh and people were far more likely to be in danger at every twist and turn and because of that many responded far more harshly than they needed to. She didn't exactly blame them, they were a product of their surroundings, but it didn't change the fact that if you were being a dick you were being a dick. [break][break] Isra's parasol slumped against his shoulder as she yawned, the drowsiness mixed with how comfortable she was getting to her a bit again. She wasn't quite ready to give in the sleep yet though. "You look good in white, it's well worth the effort." she didn't pull punches with compliments any more than she did with insults. She glossed over his comment about her being a little odd herself though, she was used to being told such things. He was far from the first to tell her that. She chuckled when he introduced himself however. [break][break] "My name is Isra Nightingale, and it has been very pleasant to meet you." and again it was no lie, she thought it to be a good thing she woke so early because even if she was tired she had met someone so very interesting. She found herself hoping she'd see him again sometime, the wishful thinker in her being as optimistic as ever even though her more realistic side was expecting this to be the last she would see of him. That was normally how such meetings went.

IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO?

It was oddly calming just sitting under a tree and having a new acquaintance sit on your lap when you had never met before and had been strangers until now. While the woman had done some peculiar things, Aster found that in doing so she had gained his interest and he was trying to be as kind to her as he would wish to be treated. So the white haired male didn't mind so much offering his lap considering he had after all taken her spot without meaning to, even if their conversation was mostly him talking.
A small smile crossed his face at her response to defending people he didn't even know. " I'd hope so since I'm trying to be on my best behavior for the guest in my lap." he said teasing her slightly. Sure it was part of his nature to be nice and civil around people for family reasons, but this was definitely for a different reason. The woman had done nothing wrong after all and he surely didn't want to judge her for simply asking for a spot on his lap so he found no harm in any of this. It was nice to also relax now that his lunch had been joined by an unknown maiden at least until he actually used proper manors and found out what her name was.
Another slight flush crossed his pale cheeks when she complimented him on his color choice. He had always liked the way he dressed and had fought a couple people to keep the plain color so it was nice for someone to actually compliment it rather than have something negative to say. "Well, that is very kind of you and I appreciate your praise. If only more people were like you the world would definitely be a better place." he commented as the smile once again returned to his face. It was nice to know that no matter what happened this woman thought at least he looked good and honestly, Aster didn't really care what others thought... but this girl. perhaps he cared more about her opinion than he might have realized.
"Isra, that is a beautiful name. " he answered honestly. He could only hope that when she spoke of a pleasant meeting it was for real instead of just natural pleasantries. "I'd hope it is, I would hate to know I did something wrong. I can be a little dense sometimes without knowing, so please forgive me if that happens." he said inclining his head.
Come sink into me and let me breathe you in[break]I'll be your gravity, you be my oxygen
[attr="class","istalks"]
At this point Isra was well settled in against him and was honestly getting very close to simply dozing off. She hadn't planned on taking a nap on a stranger this afternoon, to be quite honest she felt a little bad about it. Her thoughts on the matter were broken with his teasing comments. She chuckled softly at him "Well you are doing a very good job of being a gentleman." she told him quietly. [break][break] It was too bad she wouldn't see the blush on his cheeks as she'd have plenty of teasing to throw his way for such a thing, perhaps she'd even get him to turn red if she did but she was far too tired for that to be happening at the moment. "I think the answer is less more of me and more of not caring what anyone else says." by now she was getting a little quieter on him, the tiredness really setting in. [break][break] Isra went quite for a moment, trying to fight off the want to sleep. She barely heard what else he said. [break][break] "Perhaps I should cut this pleasant meeting short, it would seem I'm more tired than I thought, I would hate to fall asleep on you." She moved to sit up and take her parasol with her. She'd managed to get back to her little home well enough. "I do apologize for this." Isra would be up and moving in moments if he didn't give her reason to stay even if she was as tired as she was proving to be.

Aster could tell that she was getting sleepy and honestly he really didn't mind. Part of him almost thought about taking a nap himself, the shade was nice enough and the serenity of the scene was a nice place to let him settle in to the tree and to the weight he was growing accustomed to. His golden orbs moved to listen to the sound of the other as she spoke of how he was going a fine job of being a gentlemen and that was something he as glad to hear from her as he really had been trying his best to make sure that she was at least somewhat happy being in his presence.
"If only that wasn't the case, but we all know it is." he agreed with her comment shaking his head slightly which caused his body to move slightly with the movement. "People have grown accustomed to either caring too much about what others think or simply not caring at all. I believe the best thing to be is right in the middle to have compassion but also know when what matters is your own happiness as well." he said before shrugging the conversation off. It wasn't like she was trying to start a debate or anything over it but Aster thought it would be at least worth it to give the other his opinion since she had asked of it.
His golden hues once again moved to her as she began to speak and a funny feeling struck his chest as she said that she was about to leave. "You.. don't have to go.. but.. you don't have to apologize either. You've done nothing wrong." he said quietly as he watched her start to gather her things but before he could stop himself a hand moved as his gloved palm and soft fingers touched fragile skin around her wrist. He wasn't forceful as his grip was soft but he didn't want to let go either. "... You can sleep here if you want...." he said finally his eyes almost sad as the real reason was trapped under those words.
Come sink into me and let me breathe you in[break]I'll be your gravity, you be my oxygen

Perhaps if Isra had been more awake and alert they could have had a more telling discussion on the subject, Isra didn't mind talking more heavily about these sorts of topics one bit. Actually she enjoyed finding someone that would talk at least about such things with her especially when it came to all the social things she simply didn't understand, either because they went over her head or because she simply hadn't really been socialized enough to understand it like every one else. [break][break] Now really wasn't the time for such talks however. [break][break] "I don't want to impose, you've been so ni-" the fact that he reached out for her, so gentle too, caught her off guard as she really hadn't expected it and when she turned to face him the surprise was easy to see on her face. Her look softened though at the look in his eye as he spoke, that had been even more unexpected. She had people want her to stick around before, but it wasn't normally with a look like that. She looked down at his hand around her wrist for a moment before letting her parasol sit on her shoulder so she could lay her own hand on top of his. [break][break] Isra wasn't sure what it was about the action that made her smile but it did nonetheless. "If you're sure it's alright." She let herself sit back in his lap but didn't lean against him again just yet, rather she turned to be able to look up at him. "I do have a whole afternoon I don't normally have ahead of me after all." [break][break] The mere notion that she was very nearly trying to come up with excuses to stay like this was enough to make her blush just the tiniest bit. That say notion was also enough to leave a small smile on her face. [break][break] She didn't mind staying with someone like him.
