Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

[attr="class","distortpost"]Agate Village. Town of forestry and the elderly. [break][break] It was a town that Jensen wasn't that accustomed too that's for sure. Different kind of aesthetic then Phenec that's for sure. Even during his five years in Orre, he still haven't gotten used to this place. All the twist and turns mostly confused the man, which wasn't making this venture easier. "A pokemon with roses? Worth a look at." Granted the description given to him wasn't one that appealed to him, but since they seemed kinda rare, might as well check it out. [break][break] Even served as a good chance to see what his other pokemon could do, as he had no idea on how Shaggoth really battled or much of it's personality. That is, if a magnet could have much of one. Only one way of finding out, even if it's blinking eye unnerved him somewhat. The man shook his head on the thought, as he adjusted the gastly egg that he was cradling in-front of his chest. [break][break] His only hope is that he wouldn't get too lost out here, although the scenery made it a little easier. The smell of flowers and clean air was nice. Might even do some wonders for his egg, did ghosts even need fresh air? Honestly Jensen didn't want to think too much on that subject, as it might hurt his head. Especially when he was looking for greenery, and instead found a stone of thunder. Well at least that is what it's called, namely for it's weird pattern that's for sure. [break][break] "I don't I have anything that could take advantage of this. Might as well hold onto it though." Was the thought as he used a free hand examining the weird stone. Hopefully this didn't become a reoccurring thing, as the guy didn't want to be weighed down with all of the constant stones. As he placed it in his bag, he went back to holding his egg, and venturing down the path in search for the rose pokemon. [break][break] ---- [break][break] Leading with Shoggoth[break] Egg mentioned
[attr="class","distortpost"]Well that was quick. At least it seemed rather quick, for the guy. "Thought it was going to take a little longer then I thought to see you..." [break][break] With a small shrug, Jensen wasn't going to really question it. Made things a little easier, and hell he could take some time to enjoy the sights around town. It's been a small handful of times, so he may as well make the best of it. although now wasn't the best time to ponder about those thoughts. Those are for after the battle. Speaking, of which, the man sent out his magnemite to do battle against the grass type. [break][break] "Alright, sonic, and tackle." Jensen's only hope was that the pokemon knew how to at least listen to commands. Hard to tell because of the way the steel type mostly hovered around aimlessly. Thankfully it seemed that Shoggoth was one to listen, as evident as he started to attack the Roselia. [break][break] It was evident that the two pokemon was on the weaker end, but thankfully around the same power level. Although that didn't really mean that the battle was that very interesting. There was no ice or water blast being thrown everywhere, instead just Shoggoth trying to tackle the grass type, while it tried to absorb health back. If anything, it was a little boring for the man. It lasted a couple minutes, before the magnaemite managed to confuse the rosealia to hitting itself for the final blow. [break][break] Judging from the eye's expression Shoggoth was rather pleased on the job well done, before hanging around Jensen. The trainer still had no real idea on what went on in that pokemon's head. [break][break] ---- [break][break] Shoggoth attacked some roses[break]
[attr="class","distortpost"]"Hey..." [break][break] A sudden whisper, in Jensen's hear made the poor guy jump slightly, and even take a step forward. His arms clenching the egg, in fear of dropping the thing in his reaction. "Y-yeah?" The man spoke while turning on his heel towards the source of that voice. Why did they have to whisper in his ear? Was it to give him a fright? If so, that's just rude if anything. [break][break] Her reaction to Jensen's sudden spin after his little spook was one of a slight chuckle, "Sorry, but I was wondering what a guy like yourself is doing around here." [break][break] The trainer's face should have said it all, he was mostly deadpan with an 'just finished' look. "I was here looking around for a Roselia. I found one, and now making my way back, so if you excuse me I got places to go." Jensen bluntly stated before letting out a small sigh as he tried to escape from this woman. Leaving Samantha confused on how the hell he could resist the sweet talking from someone that's world renowned in the field. [break][break] Jensen on the other hand was wondering what the hell was that woman's problem, and distancing himself from her. [break][break] ---- [break][break] Forfeit 1/2[break]
[attr="class","distortpost"]At this point, Jensen was keeping a close eye around him, mainly because of that whole scenario earlier. That lady spooked the hell out of him, and he can;t afford many of those, mainly because of the whole egg in his hand. Scrambled Gastly didn't sound all that appealing. Besides, he was sure that a certain warning he was given when he received the egg was, if he damaged it, he would pay three fold. That also wasn't appealing, not in the slightest. [break][break] During his little paranoiac search, he did happen across a small cd on the ground. With some curiosity he picked it up to examine it, and even used his pokedex to see it's contents. "Dragon tail? Well that sounds good for later I suppose." Whether it would be useful would depend if he could find a pokemon that could use it. That's because his current pokemon didn't seem like prime candidates for the move, namely because they didn't have tails. [break][break] ---- [break][break] Forfeit 1/2[break]
