He enjoys making new friends and allies, and is a very loyal individual. Despite his flamboyant nature, he isn't a gossiper and doesn't talk behind people's backs. He's an incredibly supportive friend.
- Intellectual ❤ If one can get past Otho's at times extreme arrogance, they may discover that he's an incredibly intellectual individual who learns quickly. He has common sense and is honestly rather clever, as well as being absolutely street smart as well.
- Dutiful ❤ Otho is also incredibly diligent. He always takes care of his responsibilities in a quick and concise manner, and never slacks off. He is rather obsessive over his work, and he always makes sure to fulfill any responsibility to the best of his abilities, not liking to feel imperfect.
- Farsighted ❤ Otho is easily able to plan ahead for the future. He always maintains a neat schedule, and he's never late to any appointments or meetings.
- Generous ❤ Despite his at times overwhelming arrogance, Otho dislikes to see people suffer, especially due to financial issues. He donates to various charities, and he's someone who is easily willing to do favors for others. However, he doesn't allow others to step all over him. He knows when people are trying to take advantage of him.

- Obsessive ❤ Paired with Otho's narcissism, this is a dangerous trait. He's obsessed with perfection, taking it upon himself to obsessively work. He works so much without rest sometimes, that he may actually collapse from exhaustion. When he wakes up, he'll berate himself for being so weak. Whenever he reaches his limit, his self-confidence takes a major dip. But he doesn't allow anyone else to see that.
- Secretive ❤ When talking about how he genuinely feels, his lips are sealed. Despite how much he loves to talk about himself, it's mostly about his own accomplishments. He doesn't talk about emotions, and he most certainly doesn't talk about his parents, his past, or where he came from.
- Sly ❤ He's immensely willing to use underhanded methods in order to get what he wants. In his eyes, anything is fair play. That's including bribes, blackmail, and all sorts of lies whenever it's necessary. He doesn't hesitate to get his hands dirty, and he'll cheat and steal his way to get what he wants.
- Fickle ❤ Otho tends to be picky about a lot of things. He's picky with his food, as well as being picky with the people he befriends. He's incredibly picky about his breeding and pokemon choices as well. Although he wouldn't simply abandon a pokemon after he's captured it.

Otho was born to a single mother. Contrary to how others may believe he grew up, he never had too much as a child. He suffered from self-confidence issues from a young age. Eventually, he began to tell himself how great he was in attempts to hide the overwhelming insecurities. It really didn't help that his mother was never really around, either. She worked incredibly hard to support him, so he was often left to his own devices. Throughout his earlier schooling years, he never really had any friends, until he set his sights on becoming a pokemon breeder. His mother allowed him to pursue his dreams.

He worked tirelessly, learning as much as he could about pokemon and pokemon breeding. He grew more narcissistic as he grew older, feeling constantly pressured to learn and work as much as possible. He was about to get his first pokemon when he turned seventeen, but his mother grew deathly ill and he needed to take care of her. He juggled various jobs to pay for medical care as well as regular living expenses. It took multiple years of balancing schoolwork and jobs, but his mother finally grew better, and he set out to become a pokemon breeder.
