Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Maiya wasn't the biggest fan of places like Agate village. [break][break] It was better than Phenac or the port at least, she hated those places more of all. Too much water, this place at least had some trees for her to distract herself with. She had an easier time keeping her cool here, at least when Reggie wasn't around. [break][break] It helped she had her new hatchling with her, the Vulpix had hatched a couple of days past but after a couple practice rounds with Sylvia seemed pretty interested in battling. She hadn't intended for this but the two had sparred on their own and Sylvia seemed eager to help the little thing after it turned out to know extrasensory. She figured it was time to give her a real try out in the battle field. [break][break] Alright Sage, be careful of the water okay?" the Vulpix jumped around her mewling as she went, she seemed excited to be out of the inn and Maiya couldn't agree more with her. Another deep breath and her nerves felt at ease, at least for the most part. [break] time to power lvl sage

She had no idea what her luck with swarms was but she always seemed to come across the pokemon in question pretty speedily. Wasn't a bad thing. She found the Roselia broken off from the pack and was happy to sneak up on it. Luckily her Vulpix seemed to agree with the strategy and the two of them creeped along. [break][break] "We're taking this one home with us so be nice okay?" she whispered to the fox pokemon before giving it the go ahead. [break][break] Sage wasted no time on using her extrasensory attack on the roselia who flinched at the sensation, only managing to use her growth move before Sage was already setting another fire with ember. "Keep up the ember." the roselia tried to use growth on her but it was only so useful as she hit it with another ember, after the next exchange of the two moves the pokemon was notably weak. [break][break] Maiya rummaged around her bag, carefully avoiding the egg pouch that held the houdoom egg she'd come across as she looked for a pokeball. Once she found one she gave it a toss at the Roselia in the hopes of taking it back with her. "Well done Sage." she praised the vulpix who now ran around her feet mewling again. As soon as the ball settled Maiya wanted to get out of there and find anywhere else to be. Or at least make it back to the inn for the night. Anything. Her Vulpix had other ideas. [break][break] The little thing was far too excited about winning her first battle against something that wasn't a teammate going easy on her since the rest were far stronger than she was and even if she went all out most of her attack just tickled at best. She was jumping around yipping about her victory when she jumped on something round and it sent her skidding towards one of the streams the village sported. Maiya rushed to keep her from going in caught her just in time. Something caught her eye while she was near the stream though and upon closer inspection she found an interesting looking scale which she pocketed. [break][break] Returning to see what had caused the problem to begin with she found herself pocketing a pokeball. At least the trouble produced something useful. She kept the fox pokemon hanging from her hip as she walked towards the in. Sage happily moved her feet like she was walking on the ground next to maiya even though she was hanging in the air. She damn near tripped over the stupid rockl and to be honest if it weren't an item she knew she could use ven if she didn't get the pokemon it evolved she probably would have left it there instead of picking it up and shoving in her bag as she'd done with the last set of items. [break][break] Speaking of which her vulpix spotted something colorful to the side and started wiggling to try and direct her attention to it. Going to check on the item she found a lure ball and pocketed that too before making a run to her inn. Or well she tried to. With her luck something else would get in the way too. [break] sage out

Maiya was very close to the inn when she happened to spot a weird colored object in the grass. At first she walked past it because she really just wanted to be inside already and not have to deal with any more of this shit outside but her need to take all the loot she could find got the better of her. [break][break] She walked back to pick up the pokeball while little sage continued to wiggle around in her arms but Maiya wasn't about to put her down until they got back inside. The moment the item was in her bag she went back to heading towards the inn. [break] sage out
