Lace was ecstatic that she had happened upon the women and her tiny bakery. The little pound cake she had bought from her was absolutely delicious. Granted, Lace had only eaten two bites of it so the middle could have tasted worse, but generally the middle of cakes were always the softest and spongiest parts! She didn't want to sit down at the women's doorstep and eat it, so Lace had decided to take a nice walk and settle down somewhere where she wasn't going to get grunted at by strangers for blocking the walkway.

She spotted the other person from quite a ways up. Lace had the option to turn around or go somewhere else, but there was quite a lot of cake and if she ate the whole thing she was sure she was going to get an upset stomach. She didn't mind sharing, especially considering the fact that she didn't want to carry around a half-eaten cake all day until she got hungry again.

As Lace got closer, she noticed that the man wasn't awake. At first she thought he was dead, but she could see his chest rise and fall as he breathed. Would it have been rude to wake him up? Probably. But Lace was going to do it anyways because she didn't want to eat the entire cake by herself.

Lace sat herself down next to the other trainer and placed the partially eaten cake in front of him. She gently tapped him twice on the shoulder, just to see if that was enough to wake him up. If not, she would have to resort to more....harsh methods.
