Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

Endric was still a touch perplexed by the situation but had agreed to it nonetheless, asking his colleague to meet with him near the remnants of the snagem base. He'd taken an interest in the area when venturing to the canyon to hunt for charmanders in a couple weeks prior and wanted to take a closer look. Wondering if perhaps they would find something either technology based or notes that could have been of use to CipherEx made him think to bring the researcher here to begin with. The other would probably be able to make better sense of those sorts of findings than he would have. [break][break] For now though the man was simply waiting for the other to show up, he hoped he wouldn't be getting stood up now, that'd make for one of the most piss poor dates he'd had yet- and no he did not actually consider this a date, Endric did have a sense of humor now and again and it often included some degree of teasing. Besides, the notion of teasing the regularly sleeping despite his potential researcher was a much better option than what he was staring at. [break][break] Elrit, his eevee sat at his feed trying to use its baby-doll eyes to beg more treats from him, as if the blasted furball weren't fat enough from all the treats it had begged off of other trainers on the way here. He'd be surprised if it could even battle with how full its stomach must have been from all the sweets. He glared, the baby-doll eyes intensified, the cycle was viscous and went nowhere.

I’ve reached the verdict that mostly, I’m a bore.
Echo Canyon? Why was this place picked as their meeting place? Especially the remains of the old Snagem base. He heard rumors about this area, like how there was a swarm of charmanders or something stalking around the canyon. That was a big no in Cass' books. Thankfully that didn't seem to be the matter, from what he heard. [break][break] Okay now he was getting sidetracked, especially since he wasn't in a position to be doing so right now. Especially since he was late in meeting his superior for their little 'date'. At least that is what Caspian was calling it, mainly in his sarcastic tone. Had to make light of this little exertion as he could. Sense of humor can get you places. Hopefully this is one of those places. Although he was the one to offer this whole training and capturing session. Mainly to show his terrible luck to the green haired individual that said that his curse was false. Cass will show him. [break][break] The man only just arrived in the area, and the only reason why Caspian was late getting here was because surprisingly the sky was a little crowded with a flock of Skarmory taking up the air space. Made for a fun time, that's for sure. With a small sigh, the man watched his step as he avoided any big rocks or anything. Behind him was Phi trotting behind him, as he thought it would be a good time to get some battling experience. [break][break] It took a little while longer then intended, but he finally managed to see the admin. "You wouldn't believe the traffic." His tone was a little bit on the sarcastic side, but he quickly snapped his mouth shut when he noticed the pokemon next to Endric. An eevee. The look he gave the pokemon was mostly a stare of jealously. "When did everyone want one of those? They are trying to beat me to getting Jolteon?"

It devolved into a staring contest of sorts because Endric had no intention of giving the pokemon more sweets but the pokemon had an unexpected amount of determination and desire to get fat. This went on for quite some time as Endric wasn't one to budge, he had no problem with handing out treats but he was not about to give more to a pokemon that already needed to work off a pound or more for the day. [break][break] The eevee finally relented and wondered off to play with some of the debris surrounding them while the waited for their would be companion and Endric contemplated what sort of trouble to bring upon the slacking researcher when he finally showed his face. If he showed his face. If he didn't Endric would probably burn down part of the lab in an ever so discreet accident to get back at him. He never took well to being stood up. [break][break] Elrit pawed a round object until it collided with Endric's feet and he picked up the item, finding it to be a pokeball. He had little interest in it due to what it worked best on but he'd keep it for now, tossing it up in the air and catching it while he waited. Not long though, he was about ready to move out and leave the bastard to suffer the fate he'd get later when Endric got back to the base when he hood the other approach and say something. [break][break] For a moment he forgot to think about the little act he usually put on where he was almost so nice and sweet he could be mistaken for being a saint. Instead of being nice and brushing it off as perfectly fine and understandable Endric threw the pokeball that was in his hand at Cass' face without much thought. [break][break] "That's for almost leaving me stood up, I hope you brought flowers to make up for it." the comment was followed by a bit of a huff and fake pout, he'd already thrown the pokeball after all so it wasn't like he start things off with a happy sunshine sweet hearted greeting at this point.

Hopefully the green haired member wasn't too upset at the guy's tardiness. First impressions said that he was a rather good guy, but there was those vibes he had about the guy after their first meeting. Vibes that told him to be on the lookout, just in case. So that he did, although it was mostly a thing at the back of his mind so in the meantime he would just do his usual thing. [break][break] Although no amount of prep could get the cipher ready for a ball being thrown at his head, or his forehead to be more precise. Which resulted in him just staring at Endric then down at the pokeball he had thrown. All the while he was sure Phi let out a small neigh that could be translated as laughter to the situation. [break][break] "Sadly, the flower shop was crowded, but I did manage to bring my pretty face which should suffice." Followed by him lazily pointing behind him with his thumb towards his ponyta. "That or you can ride my majestic steed." He added, as the Ponyta simply glanced at her trainer with a confused look. [break][break] The man bent down to at least pick up the ball, and examined it for a quick second before glancing over at Endric. "Hope you weren't hoping to get this back." Caspian spoke before putting it in his pocket, because since the guy threw it, it meant that it was the researcher's now. [break][break] "So any luck around here?" The silver haired man inquired as he took a couple more steps towards the admin, and his eevee.

"Couldn't care less." he waved off the pokeball, Endric had no need for it and it would have been more likely to become a play toy for his pokemon if he took it back anyway."and next time the flower shop is crowded you get flowers anyway. Don't make your ponyta fix your muk up for you." as much as he hated the whole flowers thing there seemed to be a certain commitment to the joke now and he'd learned a long time ago that once something like that began you didn't stop it. [break][break] "But no, haven't gone far around here. Was waiting for you, and to see if Elrit would give up on treats yet." speaking of which the eevee had wandered off again after his last plaything had been taken from him and was looking for more things to mess around with. The critter seemed to hear that he was being talked about though and came trotting up to Endric with a stone in his mouth. It tried to make a noise but soon realized it couldn't while the stone was in his mouth and Endric took it and walked away from the furball. [break][break] Elrit immediately drooped and plopped down over the exchange and lack of attention. Instead actually, he looked to Cass, face slowly melting into an ever so adorable baby-doll eyes look. He probably thought that if Endric would not give in this new person his trainer was not shooing off would. [break][break] Meanwhile Endric walked over to Cass' ponyta and waited a moment before touching her to see if she'd be alright with his presence before setting the stone on her head just between her ears and leaving it there. "Your ponyta would probably be a better date than you at this rate. Name?" it would be easier to use the name she actually responded to, he figured.

Regardless on what Endric did say, he wasn't going to get this pokeball back anyways. so it at least made it much easier on the guy when the admin declined on wanting to own the thing. Caspian had no idea on what he was going to use it on, but better to be prepared, he thought. "Well I will keep that in mind next time I go to the store. Although I was for sure thinking that the Ponyta would make up for that..." The cipher mumbled that last part to himself. [break][break] Well at least the green haired member did't stray off too far without him, and taking all of the pokemon from the pace ahead of time. Wouldn't put it past the guy really to do that, just to prove that Caspian was a crazy and paranoid co-worker. Although the second part kinda confused the guy, as he noticed the eevee he was referring to. What greeted him back was this puppy dog like look, which made the guy feel a little bad for the thing, but not bad enough to give a treat. Mainly because he already had to give most of them to Phi and Epsilon earlier. "Sorry out of luck little fella." [break][break] Not gonna lie, Cass was a little bit annoyed by that comment that his ponyta would make a better date then him, just because the sheer idea of it. "Very funny, keep that up and you might not get a 'good-bye kiss' at the end of all of this." His tone had the usual amounts of sarcasm to it, before shrugging slightly. "Her name is Phi by the way." He added, as he gave the pokemon's name. [break][break] The fire horse didn't seem all that interested in the two trainer's banter as she simply took a glance around the area. Judging from the place, she wouldn't be able to make a ton of running room. It wasn't until Endric stood there, as she didn't really show any signs of hostility or anything, and after a moment of thought deemed the cipher worthy of touching her. The stone on the head though, threw her out for a loop, as her eyes crossed as she tried to see the stone on her head and why it was placed there. Her face was confused on the matter, as she tried not to move her head so she wouldn't drop it. [break][break] "...Was that necessary?" The researcher asked the admin with a look almost as confused as his pokemon's.

"Who says I'll want to kiss you after this anyway?" to prove his point Endric made a disgusted face, unlucky for his companion it was hard to say if it was him playing around or using playing around as an excuse to get away with it. "And don't encourage him." he gestured towards the eevee and igbored the inquiry about his gesture with the ever stone. It was honestly a meaningless gesture that he felt no need to eleborate on. [Break][break] Actually Endric was now watching his eevee who apparently saw someone else he thought he could harrass for treats in the distance and was creaping towards them in hopes they would be greater enablers than Endric and Cass were. The guy made some boast about strong looking pokemon and wanting to see them in battle but honestly Endric was to busy making a face and his horrible choice in pokemon to registerwhat specifically he said. "Elrit don't touch it-" and the little idiot was trying to jump up and play with the illumis' antatnae, much to its dismay. "at least use swift or something." elrit was likely to make him lose some portion of his sanity at this rate. [Break][break] Elrit perked ip at the request/command and promptly released a swift attack at the lumis "and stay away from the cynda.... ugly thing. Cass you can deal with that. Maybe you can salvage this date with a little show." sarvastic as ever he barely paid attention as the illumis tried to use moonlight to replinish some of its lost health but it reallt didn't do much good in this daylight. Endric made a motion that the eevee knew meant to go again and used swift once more the illumis used quick attack followed by double team, slamming into the eevee before zipping off. A little startled but still upright elfrit let loose another swift attack, certain to hitthe illumis. It tried to make things up with moonlight again but elrit intteruppted it with a quick attack followed by a bay eyed look. The illumis just stood there with its hands on its cheeks giving the eevee a concerned look. Elrit used swift and when the illumis fell over in defeat the eevee climbed up ontop, sitting on its defeated foe with a proudly puffed up chest. [Break][break] Endric rolled his eyes at his eevee.
