Long ago, the region of Orre was a place of untold danger, where two groups: Cipher and Snagem, wished to rule the region through the power of shadow pokemon. Pokemon who's hearts had been closed and were used as machines to fight rather than as partners to the trainers who caught them. These groups were defeated by courageous young trainers who wished to free pokemon from these fates and restore peace back to Orre. That peace has lasted many years and perhaps has done more bad than good for the region of Orre. With so much peach, how will the region react to the rumors of Cipher returning once again? The peace has been a blessing indeed, but with peace always springs a new enemy that wishese to destroy it once again. Which side shall you choose in this endless struggle between peace and chaos?

This Arceus forsaken town was asking to get burned to the ground just so Maiya wouldn't have to come here for another pokemon that was swarming in the region. Yes she already had a heracross but you know what she didn't have? Something that could breed with the stupid thing. She didn't even know anyone other than Reggie who wanted one of the stupid thing because only creepers and little boys seemed to have a thing for bug types (she was sure there were some little girls who liked them too she'd just never seen them) but the more the merrier right? Maybe. And besides even if she didn't bring it home she could use it for training for her Vulpix. Second Vulpix. [break][break] Sage had a leash today, it was the only way Maiya could keep the darned thing from getting distracted and running away when she didn't want her too. She hoped that with experience the little thing wouldn't get so distracted but that was a worry for another day. For now she just needed to see if she could get anything useful out of this stupid village before she turned and ran, burning some building behind her. [break][break] Okay maybe she wouldn't have actually burned any buildings because it really was a nice town she was just really tired of coming here so often when it had so much bloody water too and it seemed like every time she had reason to come here reggie was busy.

Maiya stopped to let some kids pet Sage, which the little pokemon seemed to super happy about anyway. Helped to let others give her attention sometimes if onl to make it so she wanted a little less from maiya for a little bit. [break][break] When the kids finally moved along she found her Vulpix sitting on her rump with a disc in hand and Maiya was quite surprised. Further inspection said it was a TM and Maiya pocketed it. Seemed Sage had learned a little something from her mother after all. Would teach the teenagers to keep a closer eye on their things in the future too.

The little boy was lost and looking for something maiya had no clue about., Apparently not knowing the location of the pool was a crime and she needed to be punished. She did not understand kids. He sent out a shroomish. [break][break] It didn't take much to be able to tell it was not a very strong shrooomish when it barely took two embers from her vulpix to make it faint. The thing only lasted that long because of the absorb ability it knew but that really wasn't able to do much of anything to prolong the issue. Maiya wanted to go easy on the kid because he was a kid and probably just being silly but the weakness of his pokemon made that a little hard. [break][break] Not sure what else to do for the situation Maiya took her Vulpix and left.

She didn't like him the moment his sorry face showed up in front of hers and had no problem with things when he decided he wanted a battle. She couldn't wait to put the chatter box in his place as quickly as possible. Bonus points when it was a torkoal since her little Vulpix had the upper hand here. [break][break] It started off with smog but that really didn't mean much when her Vulpix knew extrasensory and let loose the wave of psychic energy to attack anything it could reach. They heard the cry of the torkoal and it tried retaliating with an ember, that its trainer tried to tell it not to do. The Vulpix went unphased, if anything she was even more ready for battle now. The torkoal withdrew into his shell but since the smog had not yet dispersed she continued to make use of extrasensory to hit it from afar. The torkoal showed no signs of wanting to come back out even after the smog started to dissipate and the Vulpix happily make ude of extrasensory till then, before deciding to top things off with her powered up ember (not that there was much left on the torkoal by then) and the pokemon fainted as it tried to release another round of smog. [break][break] The enemy didn't seem to take too kindly to her victory and tried to escape before anyone could see. Maiya let him, she'd done what she was hoping to do. With a pat to the head she continued on with her mission. She hoped this stupid bug was male at least.

She wondered were all these people were coming from and if this stupid bug was really that worth it. She hoped this was false popularity though she planned on not using it herself. The thing wasn't her type of pokemon and she wondered this guy was planning to do with this stupid beldum,especially with that low level it had. [Break][break] Even sage seemed underwhelmed when the battle qas nothing more than her using ember, it trying to slam its body into her and it doing very little befoee she used ember again, it faltered on its next attack as the damage was more than it could handle and the ember that sage wrapped things up with felt disappointing.[break][break] She really hoped at least the bug posed a challenge at this rate.
